Chapter 58: Moving without Thinking

"So, what are you planning?"

Camoline's head turned towards Silver. His face was flat, but Silver knew his roommate was thinking about answering his question. Being Camoline's roommate for a long time, Silver begins to learn about Camoline's habits, even if Silver doesn't use her powers to know them to Camoline. Of course the reason is because Camoline will easily realize if she is reading her mind. Also, it takes more energy for Silver to do it on Camoline than to anyone else.

He stared cynically at Silver who was unfortunately still busy laughing. The pat on his shoulder just felt like a hug. Very hard and painful. Camoline sighed.

"It's ridiculous that you say that" Silver said after his laughter subsided. Camoline herself said nothing. He kept quiet and let Silver finish with his laugh.

"But, really? Although you have to hide it, but it is not impossible if they will realize it, right?" Camoline nodded back, confirming. Silver is right. And indeed the officials of the Palace had realized it even though they did not know if the Opal stone was in his body.

"You have to train him. Master the power in that stone. Because you'll need it and it'll be great if you can control it" Silver said. Camoline turned back to Silver. "Yes, that's right. But still it's different. Both of my elements are quite contradictory, you know that the light element type cannot be used to attack at all" Silver said. He bit his inner cheek. He looked towards Camoline. The girl's face was still as flat as before.

"By the way, the day after tomorrow I'll move dorms." Silver looked at him very quickly. His face was so shocked to hear that. It was very sudden according to him. Camoline had never mentioned this before. And he did not hear that there would be another transfer of dormitories in the Academy from the mouths of those teachers. Silver looked at Camoline fixedly, asking the girl to immediately explain the meaning of her sudden words.

"I was ordered not to say this until the monthly test ended." Silver's head was lifted. Now Camoline can see if Silver's eyes are puffy.

"Your level has increased as the monthly test takes place?" Camoline simply nodded in response. That made Silver quiet again. He threw away face. As if he was staring at Camoline.

"against me. I want to fight you today, Camoline," Silver said. His face is very serious. However, Camoline did not know what Silver was really planning so asked for her to fight suddenly.

Silver stood up without waiting for an answer from Camoline. He walked a little away from the lake. From his founding position, he prepared to fight Camoline. And the look on his serious face did not fade. Seeing that, Camoline let out a long sigh. Looks like Silver is really upset. However, he only obeys Zelden's orders because the man will instantly know if he secretly tells Silver about this before the appointed time. Camoline then stood up and walked in the same direction as Silver was. Only, he took a distance of about 1 meter from Silver's position. He will accept the call to fight. After all, it wouldn't hurt to test her magic abilities and try to figure out how powerful her roommate was.

"Use a different element to mine," Silver said in a stern tone. It made Camoline frown her forehead. Even he had just been able to control the water element not too long ago. He wanted to protest, but Silver kept him quiet again.

So the choice fell on the fire element.

"Prepare" said Silver. He raised his left hand. Very quickly, a sizable lump of water shot straight towards the still-preparing Camoline. Camoline was surprised by this. He immediately brushed off the water with the fire element he released in a hurry. Camoline's head immediately stared at Silver. The girl really seriously wanted to defeat him. So Camoline can't be too good at this fight even if Silver is her roommate.

This time, it's Camoline's turn. He immediately attacked Silver with his fire element even though it was quite fast because Silver had attacked him again. The two of them continued to attack each other. In fact, now Camoline adds the wind element so that the fire it releases is getting bigger even though it also results in its energy being depleted faster than it should be.
