In the end, both of their plans failed. It was not because one of them had forgotten about the plan, but circumstances made the two of them have to give up time to speak to Zelden. Zelden, the chairman of the Academy is not at the Academy. I don't know where that guy went. However, from the information obtained, Zelden was leaving to return to his home. Just by himself, as Barcus was still seen wandering around the Academy. Hence, their plans that afternoon were completely void.
Camoline exhaled slowly. Currently, he was already in his room again, with Silver who was so busy reading a spell book. Tomorrow they get the exam schedule from Azura. Potions and spells. There were no clues whatsoever as to the leaks for tomorrow's test, so they actually had to memorize the spells that were most likely to be used tomorrow.
As for Camoline, her focus had already split everywhere. He was so worried about the possibility that he would miss the opportunity to tell Zelden the important thing. Also, about a fact Londer just found out about. The curse of the God that Camoline had never expected before.
"Oh, my head feels like it's going to explode. Now I can't remember the rest of the spell in this tome," Silver lamented. Camoline's head moved, turning towards Silver who was putting on a face full of despair.
"Silver, there's something I want to ask you."
"As long as it's not about these spells, go ahead, please" Silver said. He smiled at Camoline for a while, before looking back at the book in front of her with a tired face.
"About the curse of the mate, does there really exist a curse of the mate of the God?" Silver did not answer. He closed the thick book, then put it in the drawer of his study table. A long sigh escaped from the silver-haired girl's mouth. He turned his body towards Camoline.
"From what I've heard, something like that once existed" Silver said. However, his face was confused.
"Is there?" Silver nodded immediately. A few moments his forehead shriveled.
"A few years ago, it seemed like hundreds of years ago, there was one clan that got that terrible curse from God. I don't know the reason why they got such a curse, because it's considered quite taboo" she explained. Camoline nodded in understanding, though her face did not seem to say that.
"Why? Is there someone talking about it?" ask Silver curiously. Camoline turned her head quickly and shook her head. He smiled thinly.
"Nothing" said Camoline. He closed the book and put it in a drawer. Just like Silver did.
"I'll sleep faster. Just wake up if something strange happens suddenly" Camoline said before she got on her bed. Silver was silent for a moment before grunting softly. His head turned towards the window of their room that had not been covered by the curtains.
Camoline immediately lay down with a blanket that had covered almost her entire body. Today she felt so tired that not long after lying down, Camoline easily fell asleep and entered her dreamland. Silver's head turned back towards Camoline. Then after that, breaths sounded again. Slowly, he stood up and began to close the windows of their rooms with blue-colored curtains. He'll be sleeping soon, following Camoline.
Tock.
Silver's head quickly turned towards the door. His forehead shriveled deep. As he remembered, he did not ask anyone to come to his room at night. There is a rule not to roam outside the dorm after dinner.
Curious, Silver walked towards the door. He remained silent for a while, before finally opening the door slowly. He did not want to wake up Camoline who was currently sleeping soundly.
As soon as the door opened, Silver found a black misty woman. He looks strange in Silver's eyes. Especially with the typical pajamas of white dormitories he wears. The frown on Silver's forehead finally reappeared.
"You need something from my roommate?" ask Silver again. Now, the foreign woman looked back at her. He fell silent again, before finally shaking.
"No. I just need to talk to you, both," the woman said. Next to Silver's eyebrows raised.
"Really?" With certainty, the woman nodded strongly. He looked Silver directly into his eyes. His eyes were so sure. There is no doubt at all.
"Yes. Both, but not here." Silver took a long breath. He folded his hands in front of his chest. His eyes looked at the foreign woman with suspicion.
"I'm not going to believe you just like that, even if the students are hurting each other, it's not a mere rumor" Silver said. The woman in front of him took a deep breath. He looked around. Luckily there are no boarding patrols at the moment.
"You're so stubborn" the girl grumbled softly. Silver snorted immediately. His eyes became annoyed.
"of course! I have to be wary of anyone right now," Silver said in an annoyed tone. The woman looked at Silver for a moment, then one corner of her lips lifted up.
"To anyone, but not to your roommate, right? You suck, " said the woman. The frown on Silver's forehead reappeared. The look in his eyes became so sharp on the foreign woman.
"What do you mean? He's my friend—"
"Friends can hurt each other, right?" Silver was silent. It made the woman in front of him instantly chuckle. He looked at Silver with a look of disdain.
"You don't even know anything about the girl. You're really just his roommate, nothing more." Silver threw away his face. However, it was obvious that he was so upset. His fist was currently starting to strengthen until his knuckles turned white.
"Don't say that! You don't know anything about my relationship with her" Silver said sharply. But there, the woman actually returned chuckling with an eye gaze that was also underestimating.
"really? Then you also know, if he has Opal stone, the legend stone that everyone is looking for, right?" With reflexes, Silver looked back at the woman. Now, there's a twinkle of disbelief in Silver's eyes. Something like this was really a new thing that he heard.
"Ah, don't you know? How sad. He really has it. You can ask Barcus. The old man must have known this from the beginning," said the woman. He looked at Silver with a satisfied face that was not hidden. He really liked how Silver's face looked at the moment.
"He's not that great. He was just a lousy person who earned the fortune of a lifetime by owning that stone. Because of the originals, he was even worse than the permanent residents of the white dormitory," said the woman. Afterwards, the woman walked out of Silver's room just like that. It also left Silver still speechless digesting what he had just heard.
"Impossible," Silver murmured in disbelief.
