Chapter 44: Knowing

The academy is back crowded by people. For one day, the school has not started teaching-learning activities. They allowed the disciples who had just arrived at the Academy to rest the body first after a long journey. And the students take advantage of this time also to talk to their friends whom they do not meet during school holidays. So it looks normal with the condition of the entire school hallway to be so very crowded.

"How are you doing?"

Camoline. He found Silver was already beside him. As he remembered, he had been alone ever since. It seemed that Camoline was too washed away in her daydream so she was unaware of Silver's arrival.

"Pretty good. I was really forced to rest by my father" Camoline said. Silver nodded slowly. He sighed and looked out of the corridor. Just like Camoline is doing right now.

"By the way, I have something I want to talk to you about" Silver said. Camoline turned back. His forehead shriveled thinly. Right now, Silver's countenance was very serious.

"About what?" Silver moved his head. He stared at Camoline in silence for a moment. It could be seen if there was any doubt in Silver's eyes. The silver-haired girl hesitated to say this to her roommate. But he was so curious that during the school holidays he could not enjoy it. He just kept thinking about this.

"Before, I wanted to apologize to you for being so presumptuous." Silver took a breath. Camoline was still silent, waiting for Silver to say all what was in her head at the moment.

"I already know about the thing inside your body" Silver said. Camoline remained silent for a few seconds, until her eyes opened wide. His head moved around. Luckily the other students who were there were busy with their own conversations. So it seemed that no one cared about this conversation between Silver and Camoline. So that without being prevented, Camoline heaved a sigh of relief.

"Don't say such things easily in a place like this, Silver," Camoline said. Hearing this immediately made Silver bow his head.

"I'm sorry," he murmured softly. Camoline nodded her head.

"Then why did you do it?" Silver raised his head. However, he immediately threw his face away as Camoline stared at him. The girl still felt guilty about the incident just now. He did not know, if such a thing could not be known to many people. Silver did know that Opal stone is very valuable and so desired by many people. However, he did not know what Camoline was hiding, so he forbade anyone to know about the stone in his body.

"Someone told me so I just made sure of it" Silver said. Camoline still looked at Silver's face. See every change in the face of the girl.

"There will be bad things happening if a lot of people find out. Moreover, it seems like they are already aware of its existence here," Camoline said softly, but could still be heard by Silver. Silver's head even immediately turned towards Camoline with a frown on her forehead.

"The Palace's higher ups" said Camoline. Of course he said that slowly and even his body was leaned towards Silver. So that no one else can hear it. After knowing that answer, Silver immediately displayed a look of surprise. He looked at Camoline with both eyes wide open. Even his mouth is open. But there was one other thing that caught Camoline's attention, which was the look of fear on Silver's face.

"You mean it?" silver asked with a trembling voice. Camoline's forehead shriveled slightly, but the girl still nodded. Justifying Silver's question. And Camoline could not guess, after she did that, Silver actually immediately fell down. His face is still the same. Surprised by the skin of his face that began to turn pale. With great confusion, Camoline immediately crouched down before Silver. Make sure the girl in front of him doesn't faint all of a sudden.

"But how can it?" muttered Silver slowly. It further adds to the wrinkles on Camoline's forehead.

Silver raised his head. He looked at Camoline in front of him. Now she understood why Camoline had never spoken of the Opal stone in her body. Even Silver felt that Violetta and Lily did not know about it. Now, Silver was struck by a feeling of worry. No, not about his position or his own circumstances. But the fate of Camoline, his roommate. If the higher-ups already knew exactly where the location of the Opal stone they had been looking for a long time ago, then it was not impossible if they would target Camoline.

Camoline's life is pretty threatened.

"You're in danger" Silver said. His voice was still slow, yet again it could still be heard clearly by Camoline. Camoline exhaled slowly. He touched Silver's shoulder and rubbed it gently.

"I'll be fine as long as none of them realize it" Camoline said. He tried to convince his roommate not to worry so much. But right now, Camoline was so curious about what the Silver clan had gone through that the girl in front of her became so frightened.

Camoline finally helped Silver to stand up. He couldn't force Silver to talk about the question in his head. Even he could not use the ability to read minds, because Silver would immediately realize it. So Camoline chooses to shut up and let Silver tell her about it later. Although I don't know when.

"If they had it, then the world would be destroyed in their hands. Camoline, I hope you can keep it hidden" Silver said. Camoline's head immediately turned towards Silver.

"Until now, I've done it. But I don't know what's going to happen" Camoline said. He recalled the incident where Aldus came to the school clinic and found himself. The thing that Camoline never expected, is that the man realized that he was the mate of the man. Until now, Camoline does not know if Aldus knows if he is still the same person as 500 years ago.

"So I'm asking you to keep this a secret from anyone. No one knows if you know this" Camoline said. The look on his face was so serious, and Silver could feel if the fur on his back stood up. The current aura of Camoline was quite terrifying. Making himself unconsciously nod.

The two no longer spoke. They walked towards the dorm room with their mouths tightly locked. Camoline of course thought about the state of the Opal stone within her body which was quite strange. While Silver is still digesting about what he just knew. About the Opal stone that is true in the body of Camoline and also the officials of the Palace who most likely already know it. Because if those higher-ups knew and managed to obtain the Opal stone, then there would only be another terrible destruction all over the place.
