Chapter 65: Behind the Story

Crushed. Everything had been destroyed even though some parts of the Academy building were still able to stand firm. The beautiful and soothing scenery had turned into such a gripping and terrifying one. The green meadows had been completely arid. On the ground, several lifeless bodies were lying just like that. Yeah, the war just happened. Although the war this time is not as big as 500 years ago, but the horror can still be felt. Only a few people remain.

And one of them is not Aquamarine.

Asdus sighed many times. Her chest hurts. It's been a long time since he felt something like this. The last time he experienced it was when his partner died.

Aquamarine looked at Asdus. The man in front of him was so serious. Aquamarine tried to smile. He touched the face of Aldus even though the man also had to help support his hand.

"I will hate it so much" said Asdus bluntly. Aquamarine held the hand of Asdus on his cheek. He looked at Asdus gently and confidently.

"You know what, honey? Our unusual destiny is present because the Gods believe that we are both capable of breaking the curse. So, trust me." Asdus exhaled a long breath slowly. He nodded slowly though Aquamarine could see that Aldus was forced to do so.

"But remember. Whatever happens in the future, I always love you." The smile on Aquamarine's face widened. He hugged Aldus tightly.

"I knew. Because your love cannot be defeated by anything." And Asdus chuckled at the sound of it coming out of the mouth of Aquamarine. Even so, his feelings became very bad. What they would do is so much risk. Asdus does not care if he gets a curse or something. Only, he could not accept if bad things were given to his wife God.

"I will always love you."
