"I heard the old man had a daughter."
Camoline exhaled a long breath. He stopped his training which today is overseen by Delwana. Only Delwana, because of the presence of Barcus here as a commentator only. The man was just sitting on an old log that he was rubbing, and chattering about things. It made both Camoline and Delwana feel annoyed at her.
"Which old man do you mean? You or Mr Zelden?" Barcus looked at Camoline, then he let out a slow cry. In his mouth was a stray plant he had bitten. His left hand had been twisting the plant. I don't know what that guy was doing exactly. Barcus released the wild plant and stood up. He threw his spit to his side.
"You call Zelden by the title of Master, but be impudent to me?" Camoline sighed. He looked back. Gazing lazily towards Barcus who was currently looking towards him in annoyance.
"I don't care" said Camoline. The answer was that it made Barcus squeak. However, the old man's steps actually turned on the sunflower tree he had grown earlier on purpose. No reason. He just likes to damage any order around the lake, Camoline said.
"Asdus. Yesterday a letter from the Palace came and asked his daughter to return to the Palace" Barcus said. Barcus's hands did not remain silent. He plucked some of the sunflower petals and threw them into the lake water which kept rippling because of the exercises Camoline did.
"I don't care."
Delwana was silent. He chose not to get into the conversation of the two men. He is still too new to get all this information. Especially the fact that Camoline had been hiding with Zelden and Barcus. Yes, Delwana knows everything. Including secrets that not even Londer knows.
"The relationship of a pair of mates that don't get along, eh?"
Camoline exhaled again. He lowered both his hands. It was too difficult to do the exercises when Barcus kept forcing him to speak. Focus shifted. Not immediately answering, Camoline again raised her hand. Trying to control the water from the lake that has now been polluted by the petals of the flower that was thrown away by Barcus.
"War will not happen if our relationship is okay" Camoline said. He kept trying to concentrate on the strength of his water element without neglecting the surroundings. This was the point of Delwana's presence in his training this time. The man keeps an eye on his concentration level which is sometimes still easily broken.
"The world's bad-tempered couple" the apocalypse from Barcus alone shocked Delwana. Not just because of that. But the explosion of water made by Camoline also made his heart almost go down into the stomach.
"Stay calm, Miss. You can do damage or hurt people around you if it keeps going on!" delwana. He looked at Camoline intently. What Camoline did was quite dangerous. Moreover, the explosion made ice spikes fly around. Fortunately, the ice spikes did not freeze completely, so they did not hurt Delwana or Barcus.
"Well or bad, the war was destined to exist! Camoline turned her body towards Barcus. He looks very angry. His face showed everything. While Barcus just glanced boredly towards Camoline. He continued to pluck all the sunflower petals that he raised continuously until the lake water had begun to be filled with sunflower petals.
"I challenge you in a duel, lord Barcus Quamarine."
"All right," said Barcus. The two people were already looking very prepared to fight each other. Not with Delwana. He was very surprised. With wide strides, Delwana walked away from the two. He did not want to be a victim of their fight. Even though his strength is quite high.
"I didn't think you knew the name of the clan" Barcus said. He grinned a little.
Camoline doesn't listen. He began to gather strength in both of his palms then quickly deployed several water balls towards Barcus. He did that repeatedly in an increasingly fast tempo. During that time, Barcus was still able to dodge the attacks from the Camoline quite easily. He dodged and broke the water balls with the plants he controlled.
Camoline's face was getting cloudy. He began to form the water wave into an arrow shape. Not only that, but Camoline also changed it into ice. So it looks if the tip is very sharp.
"You're serious about fighting me apparently." Camoline grunted softly. He pulled one corner of his lips.
"I was always serious from the beginning" Camoline said. He immediately threw an arrow from the ice towards Barcus. Quickly, Barcus brushed off the arrow. Unfortunately, he was not given a chance to blink. Because after the attack, Barcus got another attack in the form of water balls directed at him. Just staggered back. His face was hit by a water ball with flower petals inside. The water also contained pollen, which just went straight into his eyes.
The attack stopped for a moment. Barcus was still trying to restore his blurred vision as well as the pain in both of his eyes. While Camoline was still staring intently at Barcus.
"I should have killed you in the first place" Camoline said. He again unleashed his elemental power. The ice element became pointy and was ready to be thrown towards Barcus at any moment. Especially at this time Barcus is still not able to stand firmly because of the condition of his eyes.
"Stop right there, Camoline!"
Camoline and Delwana turned their heads. They were quite surprised by Zelden's presence. Usually, Zelden would be so busy in his room. Managing Academy files.
"Don't think like that. At least for now." Camoline exhaled her annoyed breath. The ice that was so pointy it slowly melted and returned to water. Camoline flicked her hand slowly so that the water in her hand immediately disappeared. His feelings were still bad after Barcus spoke like that at will.
"Come here. Let me check something." Camoline's head looked back at Zelden. He had a flat face, but Zelden knew right away that Camoline was suspecting him. Not long after, Camoline said. He walked over to Zelden even though the girl was still hesitant.
As soon as Camoline was close enough to her, Zelden's hand immediately lifted up to touch Camoline's forehead. He gently pressed the forehead of the disciple in front of him for a while before his finger was lowered back down.
"Level 73's. Congratulations on raising your level" said Zelden. The speech made Delwana surprised instead of playing. He looked directly at Camoline with a look of disbelief. Because this kind of thing is absolutely impossible for an ordinary magician.
