Chapter 19: Sadness

The participating disciples, it was already determined who was worthy to come to the Palace. Trained directly by the officials later. Camoline looked at Lily and Violetta with a smile. The two girls sighed then looked at Rashi with disappointed looks. Not because of Rashi who seemed to betray his own Clan, but because Rashi who still considers them foreign. It really hurt their feelings.

"Hopefully you're lucky, Rashi," Camoline said and followed Londer. Previously, the two had been summoned by Zelden to speak in the Headmaster's room. I don't know what to discuss. "No. You didn't choose the wrong thing, miss. Instead, you chose the right thing. They are just jealous, because they are not as lucky as you," Deus said, ending with a smile on his face. Rashi sighed slowly.

"I hope it's just like that" he said slowly and walked away from Deus.

On the other hand, Lily and Violetta were still following the pair of disciples. Without knowing, they would walk in which direction. Camoline turned and stopped her steps. "You're gonna keep following us?" ask her with a frown. Lily was silent, she glanced towards Londer who chose indifferently and Camoline in turn.

"Yes. Then, what should we do? Classes are completely empty for today" Lily said. Camoline took a deep breath. He looked towards Londer, hoping that the man would have a solution so that his two friends would not follow them into the Headmaster's room and not die of boredom. Because it seemed, Zelden had something very important to talk about. Which cannot be carelessly told to others. That's what Camoline caught from Zelden's face.

"Yes, I feel that way" he replied. Violetta let out a long breath. He faced Lily with his head down. Before finally leaning back and dropping on the floor.

"Or, actually we never knew Rashi? Well, not one year we were together, was it?" The soft sound from Violetta's mouth made Lily pity. He walked up to Violetta and squatted down in front of her. Rubbed the purple-haired girl's shoulder gently.

"Don't blame yourself, Vio. Perhaps, there is a reason why Rashi hid this to us. Could have been, he forgot because he was busy training himself." What Lily got was a sobbing sound from Violetta. The girl, seems really disappointed with the decision of Rashi who chose to keep her participation a secret. Or the... Because there's something else?

"We've been together all our lives to this day. But... But, Rashi only considers us strangers who have just been met by him," said Violetta. He was crying sobbing. Immediately, Lily pulled Violetta into her arms. Gently rubbed Violetta's back. Hopefully, the girl in his arms can calm down.

Not far from where the two were, someone was watching them closely. Both of his hands clenched so tightly that his knuckles turned white. And without him noticing, a drop of water fell from the corner of his eye. Without intending to approach the two men, he turned around and walked out of the hallway with a cry that he was holding back. No, not only were they disappointed, but so were they.
