The Wiz

The Wiz
Chapter 6: 3 Elements of Nature

Mr. Barcus' class is outside the room. Precisely in the vast meadow behind the classroom building. The new disciples lined up before the Barcus master who was staring at them one by one with lazy gazes. Mr. Barcus is not an official teacher at Topaz academy. He was the one whom Zelden had chosen to educate the disciples about the power of nature. Which Barcus had known since childhood.

Sighing deeply, Barcus approached one step at the new disciple who had already gathered all before him. He displayed a smile that was actually useless for now. "You enjoyed Mr.'s lesson. Hollous?"

Barcus immediately laughed as he saw the extremely unsightly look on his students. He actually expected this. It was not a year that he became one of the unofficial teachers in Topaz, so he knew very well the characteristics of the teachers in the academy. Perhaps, he should give a little leak about the Topaz teachers to these new students.

"Followly, remove that ugly face. Now, I'm gonna tell you guys something right before the main lesson."

The disciples immediately raised their heads. Staring with interest at Barcus that today was not too annoying. Well, Barcus is pretty shitty when it comes to dealing with a short speech. But believe me, the man would not go crazy to torture his disciples. At least, he wouldn't be like Mr. Hollous whom he had already considered the laziest teacher in Topaz academy.

"You must have known about the basic elements of magic. This time, I will explain about three important elements that have existed on earth since long ago. Water, Air, and Land. All three elements are essential for creating new elements. For example, like the combination of the elements of water and air, it will create the element of ice. Until this, you got it?"

Everybody nods. That basic lesson they had indeed understood a little after paying attention to the witches out there. Sometimes, there are also parents who voluntarily explain about the three elements that are considered sacred. Although there is still a fire element, it is considered one of the most difficult to find.

"See from your data yesterday, most of you have a combined element of water and soil, which is the plant element. That's a natural thing, considering from the village around Topaz is indeed a resident of plant elements. Although there are some that have pure water elements. However," Barcus stared one by one at the disciples in front of him after revealing a ball of white light, "there are some of you who have rare elements, like this light element of mine."

That light element slowly dimmed until it disappeared from above Barcus' palm. He sighed softly and then watched his students who were still amazed by the element. However, Barcus's gaze stopped on a girl who had made the teachers stir overnight. He remembered now, the name of the disciple. And he never expected, would meet someone who had such a unique natural talent as his student.

"Camolina."

Everyone immediately turned their heads towards a girl whose only one had jet-black hair. Being stared at in such a way by all the disciples as well as Barcus, made Camoline involuntarily snort loudly.

"Come here, there's something I want to tell the students here" Barcus said, gesturing through his hand for Camoline to approach.

"So, am I meant to be a part of your material?" ask Camoline lazy. Even so, Camoline continued to walk up to Barcus with both hands folded in her chest. He looks upset. Maybe because of Mr.'s class. Hollous was a half hour late.

Barcus laughed when he heard it. He looked at Camoline with amusement. "Please say so. If you're sincere, I can give you extra value later."

"Now, get your right hand. Put the back of your hand over this palm of my hand," Barcus said. Camoline according. He placed the back of his right hand over Barcus' palm.

"Focus your mind on the element center you have—"

"You don't intend to absorb all my power, do you?" cut off Camoline, making Barcus snort loudly. However, some of the disciples were still chuckling. It was as if Camoline's words were a stupid thing.

"No, stupid. I will die at the hands of your principal if you dare to do so," Barcus put on his face but immediately calmed down, "just do my command quickly."

Camoline exhaled a long breath. He closed his eyes, trying to focus on the elemental points within his body. However, he actually saw the Opal stone stored in his body. The stone slowly emitted a dazzling light with a blue color. The more dazzling until it finally dims, leaving Opal stone that has lost its blue color. Before long, Camoline's subconscious vision switched to its elemental point.

Although there was no holy stone in his body, the power he possessed was rare at that time. He mastered one of the forces of darkness, although until his death, he could not master it. Also, a plant element that although the element is commonly possessed today, it actually has the purity of the element itself.

As soon as Camoline's eyes opened, she found the people in front of her staring at her with their mouths open. Slowly his head turned, and found Barcus who was looking at him also with a surprised look.

"I thought you were different. I think there's something in your body that holds all the power you have. Camoline, congratulations. You're already at Magi level level 41."

This time, it was not just Camoline who was shocked by the drastic increase she had achieved. But everyone who heard this, could not hide their shock. Camoline was still staring at Barcus. He looked at her with an indecipherable look. However, there was little that the girl had just known. Barcus, has one of the rare powers, which is to remove all the power of the person he touches, so it can be known what the actual level of the person is.

"As the owner of the pure plant element, you will get a special class from me. You should be able to master your element, Camoline," ujae Barcus, but Camoline sensed there was something Barcus wanted to tell her. One thing that makes Camoline a little confident is, Barcus can also see the sacred stone in his body.

Away from their place, without anyone noticing his presence, Zelden also felt the same shock. Although from the beginning, he felt that there was something strange about his new students this year, but he did not expect that one of them could reach the Magi level in less than a year. Amazing and dangerous achievement. Because, if any outsider knew of this, the girl named Camoline was in deep trouble. It would be possible if many clans wanted to rule over the girl.

"Actually, where did that clan come from? Why is she the only one I can't trace the girl's family origins to?"
