Slowly, both of Camoline's eyelids opened. He blinked his eyes several times to adjust the incoming light on both retinas. After his consciousness had all returned, then he realized that now he was in a different room with his dorm room. The strong aroma of medicine, convinced him when he was in the school clinic. Sighing softly, Camoline tried to recall the incident before she had to be trapped in this very quiet room. However, his memory actually stopped when he realized another color in the stone was melting like blue at that moment. And who would have thought, he doesn't remember anything after that.
Breathe out a second time. Camoline was getting bored. The sound of the needle ticking in the wall clock was truly a dull melody to both his ears. If he had not felt any pain when he was about to stand up, he would have definitely run towards his dorm and tried to ascertain what strength he had.
"You awake, son?"
Camoline. Barcus, followed by Zelden, approached. There was no change in the look on his face other than a frown on his forehead.
"How long haven't I been awake?" Barcus was silent for a while, before showing the number two with his finger.
"Two, you were unconscious for two days. I think the fight almost cost you your life because the energy you put out is running out" Barcus explained. Camoline sighed again. He turned his eyes to the ceiling of this room. No matter the existence of Zelden who was just a spectator.
"You should be surprised too. That young Mr. Chromos, he finally fell unconscious after I brought you here. I don't think you're letting him be okay. I'm right, aren't I?"
Camoline nodded in affirmation. This time, he showed his smile. "Yes, I did. He also has to rest after that fight" Camoline said. When he said that, he felt that there was an obstruction. Ah, of course you are. He could not remember what happened at the end of the fight. Who wins or loses. However, he chose to be quiet and let everything become something he did not need to know.
Besides, it doesn't really matter to him.
"Miss Camoline. There's something I want to ask you." Camoline, who was closing her eyes, opened her eyes again and turned to look at Zelden. The headmaster looked at him seriously. That meant, Zelden would start a serious conversation with him. Camoline was silent for a moment, before snorting. He did not expect that there were people who could not be read by his mind.
"If it's not important, I'll get back to rest" Camoline said in a sloppy tone. Zelden did not react badly. He learns that Camoline still needs rest to recover her energy.
"Just one question. And that, which clan are you from? There's no information about who you are." Camoline took a long breath. He looked at Zelden lazily.
"That's not an important thing—"
"It would be very dangerous if you were a descendant of a black clan lost in the past. You, with your strange powers, will be the target of the Palace's higher-ups" Zelden said. Camoline's forehead shriveled deeply before she snorted loudly.
"History has changed a lot apparently. Either I'm crazy, or you're nothing more than asses. Never mind, I still have to rest my body" Camoline said lazily. If the clan was indeed going to go after him, wouldn't this be better so that he wouldn't have to bother to destroy them?
Sighing deeply, Camoline's head moved with her body and turned her back to the two. Both of his eyes were closed, yet his ears could still hear the surroundings clearly. Seeing that, Zelden let out a long sigh. His head turned towards Barcus. However, the man simply shrugged both of his shoulders then walked out of the room. Ignoring himself as usual.
Two things are likely for Barcus to leave him. Between Barcus who knew something about Camoline, or that guy who didn't know anything and didn't want to know anything. Zelden sighed once more before walking up to Barcus. While thinking about the second option that is most appropriate. Because since when, did that man become so concerned about anything?
The sound of the wooden door squeaking from being closed made Camoline slightly turn her head towards her back. He grunted softly as he recalled how Zelden had so forced him to answer. If he answered from the true white clan, the man would definitely not believe it. Of course, he did not even know anything about the white clan at the moment.
Positioning her body to back on her back, Camoline placed her left hand over her forehead. Actually, his body had already completely recovered. However, hearing that Londer was also unconscious after the fight they both had, Camoline abandoned her intention to go to her room.
"Why am I thinking about that young man? Ck, sucks," Camoline muttered loudly at the end of her sentence.
"That's not a problem. You're thinking about your prince." Camoline's eyes opened wide before turning to look at someone who had entered the clinic without her realizing. Silver, who was the culprit, chuckled softly at the surprised look that Camoline showed.
"That's you. We worry about each other, but are reluctant to be honest. But take it easy, I told Londer that you were being treated here. It's the confusion that's looking for you that Mr. Barcus is hiding, "Silver explained with a smile that kept on being imprinted on his face. In fact, Camoline desperately did not need any information from Silver. However, there were a few words that made her frown.
"Hidden by Mr Barcus? So, you guys couldn't find me before?" camoline asked doubtfully. Silver nodded in confirming. Put Camoline to silence. He doesn't realize this. Or maybe, because he was unconscious. Makes his alertness level drop.
"You know? In a moment, the prince will come here." Camoline turned back to Silver. The forehead shriveled thinly, but the look of an annoyed face was so domineering.
"Silver, I hope you're not bo—hong." Londer's speech came to a halt when her eyes met Camoline's gaze that was staring at her flat. Swiping behind his ear, Londer's hand pulled Silver firmly as he was about to walk out of the clinic again.
"Before you return, you must explain your arrival to Camoline. You've kept him awake, young master Londer," Silver said. He pushed Londer slowly until the man was right next to Camoline before he walked away from the pair of Adam's children.
"So, can you explain your arrival, young master Chromos?" Londer's head was raised after hearing that. He did not answer it directly. Staring at the two irises of Camoline's eyes so closely.
"Because of me, worry about you."
