Chapter 50: The Visit

The palace's elders finally came. It could be said, their arrival was a few days faster than Zelden had expected before. And had predicted or not, their arrival still made the Academy uproar. The disciples who were not told anything about their arrival just gathered in each hallway just to get information. The teachers were equally surprised. They were not at all told that the Palace higher-ups would come. Either from the letter that all the teachers would usually get or the notice from Zelden to them. Everyone in the Academy just asked the reason behind the arrival of those higher-ups.

"Mr Zelden, wait for me!" Azura exclaimed. He stepped even faster to catch up to Zelden in front of him. From the look of his face alone it was clear that Azura had many questions regarding the arrival of the higher-ups.

"What's wrong, Miss Azura?" asked Zelden in a calm tone. The man certainly already knew with the intention of Azura, but he had deliberately asked so that Azura would not want to have to say the question.

"The top brass of the palace. What did they mean by their arrival?" azura asked after she had hesitated to ask this. Moreover, those higher-ups will enter the Academy building soon.

"I don't know it myself, Miss. Absolutely," Zelden said. He smiled after saying this. Getting that answer, Azura immediately fell silent. The whole word in his head seemed to have suddenly disappeared.

Zelden turned his body. He stepped back with his always calm face. He occasionally returned greetings of respect to the students he passed in each hallway. Zelden completely ignored Azura's current state of silence, digesting what he had just heard from Zelden's mouth.

"Welcome to Topaz Academy, Your Majesty," Zelden said. He bowed very lowly before Asdus and the other higher-ups. Asdus only glanced at him for a moment before chortling softly. Zelden's body was back. He showed a friendly smile. Ignoring how the higher-ups of the Palace behind Aldus were currently staring at Zelden full of insults.

"Your arrival has surprised us all, Your Majesty. If allowed, may I know the meaning of the current visit?" This question of Zelden elicits a dislike of the higher-ups. They immediately frowned deeply and stared at Zelden sharply.

"How dare a lowly creature like you ask such a thing to Your Majesty!" said one of them in a loud voice. The people standing not far from the entrance could immediately hear it. The atmosphere that was originally quite crowded, suddenly became quiet and quite gripping.

"I just want to monitor the learning here" said Aldus. He slightly tilted his head, glancing towards one of the higher-ups who had just shouted that. His gaze was so sharp, and the terrifying aura felt quite strong there.

"Never yell near me again, or your voice will I completely disappear" Asdus said with warning. The person who was reprimanded immediately lowered his head. I feel scared and ashamed too. His high ego was also injured due to Aldus' decision to reprimand him in front of the crowd. But what power. He would not be able to fight against Asdus.

"I'm sorry, Your Majesty," said the man.

Asdus' head turned back towards Zelden. The Head of the Academy was seen not to mind what had happened just now. He kept putting on a calm face with a friendly smile. Asdus called the old man in front of him a naive man.

"It's an honor for you to come to monitor, Your Majesty. Let's just let it guide you to take a look around every class today" Zelden said. Chief Aldus nodded slowly. Without another word to come out, Zelden immediately walked ahead of Asdus. He walked and occasionally told the developments at the Academy to Aldus. Whether it's from the construction or the students. Asdus only responded with his head lowered slowly. While the Palace higher-ups who were behind him were made to be speechless. Asdus' warning was enough. They did not want to lose their voice because it had upset Aldus.

"Of course" Camoline said in a whisper. After being far enough away, Camoline's footsteps widened. He took Silver to the library. Inside the room were several students. They did not seem to be so interested in the sudden arrival of the Palace's higher-ups. From the uniforms used, they came from the same dormitory, the red dormitory.

Camoline immediately took Silver to the very back of the library. Based on the advice of Zelden, he was asked to hide in a deserted place. I don't know what the Headmaster is planning, but Camoline feels if it doesn't hurt to obey.

"You know what their goal is?" silver asked again after they reached the very end of it. Camoline nodded confidently.

"You know the answer" Camoline said. He sighed slowly. His head looked back, watching the people in the library. Just for a moment, before finally Camoline began to pretend to be busy looking for books on the shelves in front of her.

Silver was silent. On his forehead looks quite deep wrinkles. His head turned towards Camoline with a questionable face, before the girls eyes opened wide.

"They know?!" ask Silver. He whispered until his voice was barely heard. Camoline glanced at him for a moment, she nodded quickly.

"How is that possible?!"

"That's the question. As I recall, no one had ever told me how to know his whereabouts. But they, never mind. I don't really understand either" Camoline said.

Silver silent. This was only her first time seeing Camoline so panicked, and the girl did not try to cover it up. Both Camoline hands shook quite strongly. However, it wasn't because of that that that Camoline panicked. But because Asdus had seen himself before he fled. They looked at him even if only for a few seconds. Camoline can be ordinary. But then, he suddenly panicked unconsciously. Moreover, he can feel if the mood of Asdus is very chaotic.

"You should hide—"

"Too flashy if I disappear," Camoline cut. He sighed. Asdus was already aware of his existence, so that if he disappeared, then the man would quickly notice it. Camoline exhaled a long breath. He looked at Silver with a complicated face.

"Help me to act normal" Camoline said
