Chapter 10 The Return Meeting

The incident of food poisoning and the release of a major project made Hans as CEO quick on the question, no one dared to declare his incompetence but everyone complained to Shigima.

In the end the news was also heard by Jack, he was quite disappointed because he had hoped a lot on his grandson. Moreover, he was the great son of Shigima, but apparently from now on he had to bury his hopes deeply.

That twilight he saw Hans sitting alone in the garden, from his gaze he could tell that Hans was quite struck by what happened to him.

"At least ask for a cup of coffee to accompany you" said Jack approached.

"Grandfather." call Hans awake from his daydream.

"The first time your father Grandfather brought to this castle the shape and appearance of this garden has been like this, now you are an adult and this park nothing has changed. The flowers are still blooming beautifully, the leaves are lush green even the wind remains the same. But your eyes don't look at all that beauty"

"How can I stare at the beauty that is in front of my eyes if my mind thinks of something mortal" Hans replied turning his face away.

"You're an adult, Grandpa sure you know what's best for yourself. Now Grandpa asks what's your plan?"

"What do I have only support from you guys, what can I say? grandpa could see for himself which way my company was taking away" Hans said desperately.

Jack knew that right now Hans' heart was completely in the dark, he had let everyone down and that he was very difficult to think clearly. But he did not want to spoil Hans, as the successor of the Hermes family he had to be able to make his own decisions.

"Alright Hans, grandfather won't force you" Jack understood.

He was about to leave so that Hans could reflect back, but suddenly Hans called out to him.

"Did you know a woman named Joyi?"

"Why are you asking like that?" jack was nervous.

"That woman who had paid off the village chief's debt, she also left a greeting for grandfather."

As Jack's head felt dizzy, memories from the past suddenly appeared and swirled over his head. Joyi's various expressions from time to time just imagined until the last moment in their separation, there were tears and words that Joyi said were filled with vengeance but she forgot just like that.

"Grandfather!" call Hans in a louder voice because he called three times but Jack did not respond.

"Is grandpa okay?" tanyanya's worried.

"Yes. Grandpa just suddenly felt dizzy"

"Then let me take you to the room"

"Thank you" replied Jack who let his granddaughter clean it up.

Arriving at the room Jack said he would sleep to remove the dizziness on his head, but after Hans' departure he was quick to tell his men to find out who the woman named Joyi was.

Most likely he is the Joyi he knows, but how can Joyi pay off a large amount of debt is a difficult question he answered.

Anxiously every hour he calls his men for answers, but apparently finding out the woman's identity is difficult enough to take a while.

"Where is Dad going?" shigima asked the next day when she saw Jack dressed up.

"Dad wants to see an old friend"

"Oh so it seems, would I like to take you?"

"I see, then be careful on the road"

"All right, you go first" said Jack.

When he stepped out of the house a driver was ready in front of the car and opened the door for him, Jack immediately entered and the car drove out of the Hermes residence.

Not far from there the car stops right by the side of the road, Jack lets a young man into the car and immediately swarms it with various questions.

"You got everything? who's that woman? you know her home address?"

"Master, she is the mistress of Joyi the owner of Sanwa hotel. He did not pay off the debt for the sake of the population but bought it by paying off the debt, now the land remains tidy and has entered the development stage" said the man.

"Sanvah? isn't that a new hotel?" ask Jack.

"The hotel was established about Ten years ago, but has received a good rating even in demand by artists and entrepreneurs. I heard that the hotel already has branches everywhere and the construction project that the Hermes group will initially create will be the largest and grandest hotel owned by Sanwa"

"I'm sure he's not a random person, still new but already able to compete with Hermes group hotel owner is worthy of praise" murmured Jack admitted his greatness.

"Can you set a time so I can meet that woman named Joyi?" ask Jack.

"I'll try"

"All right, thanks"

"Sama-sama master" the man replied as he lowered his head slightly.

Somehow Jack felt very familiar with the woman who owned the Sanwa hotel, his heart said he was really the Joyi he knew. But before meeting face to face he also could not accuse just like that, impatiently Jack again waiting for the news that his men will bring.

Until the time came when he was told that the woman named Joyi received a meeting invitation from him, at a fancy restaurant where high-status people spend their money to be the meeting place.

He was told the meeting was held at seven o'clock but Jack had arrived at the spot from six o'clock, the clock kept turning showing the time Jack was waiting for.

Now it's eight o'clock but the woman hasn't arrived yet, Jack calls his men to ask if the schedule he's given is right. Nothing was wrong, but the woman did not come.

"Maybe he was busy with a sudden affair" murmured Jack trying to think positively.

At exactly Ten o'clock in the night, he was desperate and intended to go home but from the entrance of the restaurant stood a woman who was very familiar to him. Except for the maroon dress that looks classy and accessories such as gold necklaces and earrings, she can still recognize the face even though it is covered by makeup that makes it look elegant.

Women walk towards him, despite his age but his way of walking is still smooth even though it is a bit slow. With a smile that showed slight wrinkles on the cheeks and eyes he finally arrived in front of Jack.

"I'm sorry to have kept you waiting for so long, I had a sudden need. In exchange let me pay for all your orders" he said.

Jack couldn't talk, between believing and not just being able to stare.

"Jo.. yi.

"Jack, long time no see. According to my estimation you are still dashing even at an age that is no longer young" replied Joyi.

"This.. is you...Joyiku." said Jack slowly.

"No Jack, I'm not your Joyi anymore. Now I'm Mrs Joyi of Sanwa!" joyi said firmly.
