Chapter 128 The Return of the King

Tianna quickly lowered his head, saluting with a feeling of fear. Of course it makes everyone confused except for Jack's children, they are glued just to make sure whether their eyes are not troubled.

Slowly Jack took a step first, walking closer to the King who looked back at him.

His trembling hands stretched out to touch, making sure the body was genuine instead of his hallucination.

Reinner smiled, nodding with tears falling along with a hug from Jack. In the next second Shigima and Ryu ran to embrace his brother, dissolving in the haru that filled the room.

After a few minutes, Reinner realized that a young man's gaze was so sharp, as he stared back at his heart filled with a feeling of unworthiness.

"How come? didn't you die in that sentence?" tanya Agler represents all the question marks of the person in question.

"I saved him" replied the newly-appeared Shishio.

"Teacher!" call Hans surprised at his presence.

Shishio smiled, looking at them all one by one before telling the true story.

To save time Shishio shortened his story by simply telling the outline.

In the incident of Reinner's removal from his throne Keenan came to kidnap before Reinner was sentenced to death, because he did not want any other chaos the elders hide this problem.

Keenan's goal is to kidnap Reinner just because he wants to gain power equivalent to the Goddess, with Alabama they research Reinner's body.

But because there was no result he got, Keenan told Shishio to kill Reinner as proof of his loyalty.

In the midst of doubt Shishio decides to kill Reinner, but in the evening he returns feeling guilty.

Bringing along the dying Reinner and hiding him, secretly healed the wounds he had made himself.

"Shishio really stabbed me deeply, I should have died instantly but strangely I just fainted even though I lost a lot of blood" reinner said at the end of Shishio's story while rubbing his chest where the marks were still there.

"The magic of the stone of immortality, this is the gift that Anna gave to the person she loved the most" Ryu said suddenly.

All eyes were on Ryu, a smile blooming on the faces of those who witnessed how Anna gave new immortality to save Reinner.

"So you're alive" Agler said softly.

Tears flowed down her cheeks, happiness filled her chest until it felt tight and made her legs fixate there. Reinner stared in wonder because he did not recognize Agler, certainly strange because Agler was crying continuously.

"Rei. he's Agler.your son" Shigima said.

"Agler?" reinner asked who clearly remembered the name he had prepared for his son.

Now that Reinner could not hold his own, he immediately walked to embrace a son who did not even know.

A happy feeling filled the room again until Tianna decided to postpone his marriage, even though he was a vampire but Reinner remained a King before him.

This is because Reinner's status of King Reinner was not stripped when he was sentenced to death, meaning that Reinner is still a friend as King.

And when the King was busy with personal affairs then as his people Tianna felt reluctant to continue his intentions.

Tianna chooses to return with Shishio to their headquarters, while Reinner returns to the Hermes residence with his entire family.

The rest of the night was spent with many stories Reinner had missed, including introducing Hans and Kyra.

And when the drowsiness strikes, they say good night to each other before going to their respective rooms, as well as Reinner who is actually not healthy right.

His sudden arrival was due to Shishio's request, he recounted Tianna's bloody agreement with Hans.

"You sure? what makes you think that?" tanyakanya.

"Because he came to Tianna and Hans' wedding" he said.

So did Reinner's return, all of Shishio's explanations he shared with Chad.

Knowing that his father was alive and safe, Chad was very happy, and he immediately asked Agler to arrange a time for them to meet.

But the happiness did not last long, Chad suddenly remembered his birth mother who died horribly in the fire incident.

"Do... do you know about the death of your mother?" ask Chad.

"A lot of things happened during the father's absence, even from birth after the mother died we were foster by different parents. I was adopted by the Menhad couple, they also gave me the name Chad. Unfortunately they're gone and now I'm continuing my foster family business"

"I'm sorry son, I'm sorry this has to happen to you" Reinner said from the bottom of his heart.

"There's nothing to regret, it's not dad's fault. We lived quite apart, I was raised by Megan's family. My foster father was Colt Megan and he freed me to live wherever I wanted" Agler said.

"You mean Colt's Viktoria's assistant?" ask Reinner who knows Colt.

Agler nodded with a smile, making Reinner again grateful that his son had good foster parents.

"We were comrades in arms, next time you meet him"

"Of course, he must be happy to hear that Dad's okay"

"Before that please keep your father's whereabouts a secret, lest anyone know but our family"

"Why?" ask Chad.

"If the vampire nation finds out it's going to be a problem, some traitors will take steps to try to kill their father again. If I had known the plan sooner, maybe your mother would have survived"

"I've heard it, some rebels are trying to overthrow my father from the throne because of a pact he made with witches" Chad said.

"That's just one of the reasons traitors make for overthrowing fathers, which is actually more than that"

"meaning?" ask Agler.

"Quite complicated, it's a royal matter that you have to think about carefully. What is clear is that for now, you still need time to recover, while thinking of a way to return to the palace"

"What's? you're going back there?" ask Agler in shock.

"While I don't really understand the palace, but I agree with Agler, it's too dangerous" Chad said in support of his brother.
