Chapter 4 Time to Wander

Three years passed quickly, Nick had taught everything that needed to be taught to his two master children. In those three years he also gave all the information about the vampire that the two children wanted to know, now Ima was exactly fifteen years old. It's time he drank human blood, according to tradition at the simple birthday party Nick has prepared a bottle of human blood ready to drink.

By wearing a beautiful blue dress that was deliberately made by Mina Ima sitting sweetly facing her birthday cake, her smile bloomed sweetly looking enthusiastic.

"May I receive my birthday present?" ask Ima.

"Please, before that there's anything you need to do" Colt replied.

"Is that dad?"

"As per tradition, it's time for you to drink the blood you've prepared" Colt said, putting a bottle of blood in front of Ima.

"Over these three years you've learned a lot, it's time for you to live like a vampire despite the fact that you're half vampire and live among humans" Nick added.

"I understand" said Ima.

He stared at the bottle, slowly picked it up and unexpectedly Ima could drink the blood without any problem.

"It turns out it was something other than animal blood" he commented after finishing one bottle of blood.

Agler gasped at Ima's courage in drinking the blood, he remembered how scared he was when he was told to drink the blood even until Nick intervened so he would do it.

"Well then this is a gift from your mother" said Mina handed me a gift box.

"Ashik... Can I open it mom?"

"Of course."

Ima enthusiastically opened the gift box, he was quite surprised when he saw a complete package of makeup equipment.

"Your age has entered adolescence, a girl is supposed to look beautiful and charming. Learn to make up yourself, but don't overdo it!" Mina.

"Thank you mom, I love mom" said Ima while embracing.

"It's from big brother, it's not a good thing but I hope you like it" Agler said.

Ima immediately opened the gift, apparently Agler gave a necklace made of wood carving. Nick gives a dagger as a gift and Colt gives a new bike so that Ima does not need to walk when going to school.

After the gifts given the party continued with a meal together, they joked and continued chatting until late.

The next day they start the routine as usual, only now Mina and Colt are back to talk four points about Agler's future. Not to forget they also invited Nick to negotiate when all his children were not at home.

"Agler told me that he wanted to continue his studies in the city, he would go to work at the fish market with Uncle Giant to finance his studies" Mina said.

"It is a pity that if Agler's intelligence is not developed, in this village there is not much he can do and should be as a man he went wandering" said Nick.

"Let me bring you my drink too" Agler said.

"really? thank you, " said his friend.

Agler immediately picked up the empty cup and headed towards the table to grab a new drink.

"Hi" said a girl who walked up to him.

"Oh Hi" replied Agler.

"When?"

"Not decided yet, maybe in a few days. How's yours?"

"Not anywhere, I'll stay in the village helping my parents work in the fields"

"Actually I also want to go to the city, but you know the cost of living there is very expensive and of course I have no other choice"

"There is no harm in living in the village, I heard that the town people want to live in the village because they can not find peace in the city" said Agler.

The chatter continued to follow the late night, as the shadows of sunlight began to appear on the horizon then the bonfire was turned off and they dispersed.

Agler came home in a fit condition unlike his sleepy friends, as usual he petrified Mina's job to deliver orders and do other things as well.

"What are you doing?" tanya Agler saw Ima who was busy with her sewing machine.

"Let's wait a little while, this outfit's almost done and I'll answer your question."

Agler just raised an eyebrow in response to Ima's words, he sat down on the sofa and began to close his eyes as drowsiness began to attack him.

"It's done!" yelled Ima suddenly.

"Don't get up!" he ordered it while pulling Agler's hand.

Although it felt lazy but Agler still got up and was quite surprised to see Ima dressed a gray hoodie to him.

"I use a good fabric, this will feel comfortable in use both when the heat is hot and cold. With this hoodie you look cooler, the people there will definitely not believe you are from the village" Ima said seeing how good he made the object.

"You... made this for me?" ask Agler.

"of course! isn't he going to town?"

"You know where it came from? I haven't talked to you" asked Agler.

Ima seemed to lose the smile of hearing the question, she lowered her face and replied in a soft voice.

"I heard Nick's father, mother and teacher talk"

"so yeah... "

"Sister." call Ima.

"I don't want you to go, I don't want to be away from you but I don't want to keep you in check either. It's selfish if I keep you here for my sake, because that's why you go but don't forget you have to call me often" he continued.

Agler smiled, rubbing Ima's head gently.

"If you have a long holiday, I will take you on a vacation in the city, because that's learning who is diligent" Agler said.

"Really?" ask Ima to make sure.

Agler nodded in response, making Ima's smile re-expand on her sweet face.
