Chapter 54 Creating a Dream

The season will soon change, the trees are almost bald leaving some leaves ready to fall. Marked by the silence of the forest signalling that the bear has fixed its nest to be ready for sleep, the start of the new season will give new history as well.

Shishio thought he was too smart because what Keenan expected to go faster as planned, but the excess speed was always accompanied by flaws.

"You should drink regularly, I've explained the consequences your body will receive" Shishio said one last time.

"I've been waiting for this for decades" Keenan replied without hesitation.

Shishio walked backwards after bracing the straps, in Alabama's gaze just to give one important nod. Alabama nodded back, waiting for Shishio to back off a little more before he pulled the lever.

Behind the thick glass Tianna could only watch how the needles on the machine moved towards Keenan, slowly poking at his flesh and pouring a green liquid into it.

They watch how the liquid runs out and the machine moves to pull the needles.

Ahhhh.......

The first second Keenan only felt pain in the area that was injected, a few seconds later his head began to feel dizzy which made him moan quite hard.

They kept watch within a safe distance, seeing how Keenan's face flushed with protruding veins.

After this next assignment was given to Alabama, he took a special syringe created to penetrate Keenang's harder skin.

When the liquid entered his body there was a jolting pain, his instincts felt a threat that must be immediately opposed. "You good?" tanya Shishio approached.

"Ba..and I..feel...sick" Keenan replied with great difficulty.

"It looks like the mistress is thinking about something" Aeda said.

"Yes, this bothers me enough. Chad is invited by Violet to dinner at the Hermes residence, but it seems he also has an equally important personal affair. I wanted to buy it but didn't know what to do" said Joyi.

"Thank you" Shishio said.

Shishio noticed there was a line of worry on Tianna's face, with a smile he replied.

"That's it" Tianna said in disbelief.

He stared at the window, where there was nothing he could see except fallen leaves. But Shishio knew what Tianna saw was more than that.

"You're very worried about him" he said.

"He is a shitty cousin, he has no passion for anything but strength. But even so we fared the same, that's why we were able to be together and understand each other. There's something I haven't told you about Keenan"

"What's that?" ask Shishio curiously.

"The reason Keenan wanted power so much was not just because he wanted to be acknowledged, but that he wanted Anna."

For a long time no one called the name kecualo himself, after a long time finally his ears heard the name mentioned even though by a vampire who was still unfamiliar to him.

"You mean?" ask Shishio carefully.

"What do you mean Keenan wants Anna?"

Shishio fell silent, not expecting Keenan to be so interested in Anna that he did all this madness. "Don't forget to take your medicine, I want to take a break after working all day" Shishio said, leaving behind a small bottle of yellow pills before leaving.

What Yanh said Shishio was right, in just a few minutes his body was completely fit again. Wearing his clothes without forgetting to bring medicine he went out and met Tianna.

"Let's go" he said.

"Go? where to?" tianna asked confusedly.

"Take my promise to you" Keenan replied with a smile full of mystery.

Tianna didn't understand what Keenan meant but he came along too, as the night wore on and they walked through the forest.

Keenan's steps were getting faster and faster to make Tianna feel tired because of offsetting the unusual speed, he had whined in the middle of the road and did not want to continue the journey.

"What is this attitude when it comes to happiness?" ask Keenan.

"Don't say things that I don't understand, you just get stronger after waking up from a strange sleep where I can compensate you" he lamented.

Unexpectedly Keenan reached out and held Tianna, in that embrace he said.

"Today, I'll pick up our dreams. Today I will fulfill my promise to you, I will take the palace and make you a princess there"

"You mean..we're going to the palace? but...what if we are not allowed to enter and instead are punished for it?" tianna asked worriedly.

Keenan smiled, a warm smile that was different from usual.

"This time no one will be able to prevent us from realizing our dreams, I promise to kill anyone who dares to stand in our way because we deserve this."

For so long together somehow Tianna suddenly felt Keenan was so cool, he looked even more handsome under the pale moonlight. As he nodded his feet Keenan began to move, jumping from one branch to another.

The speed of his foot movements rubbed against the air that brought the wind around them, flying Keenan's hair and revealing clearly the happy smile that would reach his dream.
