The incident happened again, when all the words were fighting each other in the throat but nothing managed to come out. As if time stopped spinning but the wind was still able to blow flying his hair, he was sculpting.
"You okay?" ask Chad.
"A.. um, yes" replied Rona who was still in shock.
Ima knew the two men were not dead, they were only knocked unconscious with injuries that were quite fatal. It takes at least a few weeks for them to recover completely, even if they are treated properly.
"Thank you." said Ima.
Obviously things are different and Ima is aware of that, when they first meet Chad, it looks like a runaway vampire noble. But Chad now looks more like a cruel prince, with his neat clothes but his gaze is cold.
"You better get out of here before they know it" Chad said.
"Ba-good" replied Ima.
He immediately pulls Rona's hand and leaves the place, leaving Chad, who is still watching him until they drown in the crowds.
After feeling safe enough they rest in a small stall, only to drink and let go of the fatigue. But Rona's face was not relaxed, he was still pale and looked thinking hard.
"What are you thinking?" ask Ima.
"They will definitely look for me, they will definitely not stay silent until they can find me and mom" he said.
Rona was right, as long as he was still in debt moreover he had dared to oppose them wherever he went those people would definitely chase him and arrest him.
"Don't worry, for a while you go to a safe place while we collect money together" Ima said encouragingly.
"Thank you, you've helped me a lot" said Rona.
Ima came home tired, lucky that Chad was helping so he did not have to fight and his secret remained safe. But unfortunately their meeting was so short that Ima did not have time for just a stale base, she hoped to someday meet Chad again and get to know him further.
For five days Rona was safe in his hiding place, while raising money with Ima he hoped to be free from the debt problem.
Arriving on Saturday Ima came back to the big house to be a servant, still using the identity of Rona Aeda also called him as Rona.
That day Aeda said that some servants who worked earnestly would take him to the main house and have the opportunity to be a servant there, many advantages can be obtained if moving to a main house such as a larger salary.
Ima really wants it for the sake of being able to help Rona, but if she goes to the main house she has to work every day. It was impossible because Ima had to go to school, so he missed the opportunity.
"Rona, please bring the sheets in the upstairs room" a waiter told him.
"Good" replied Ima obediently.
Soon he went to the room in question, in exchange for the bedsheet with a new one because the old bedsheet he would give to other servants to wash.
Ddrrrrrttt Ddrrrrrttt
Ima was a bit surprised when her phone vibrated, as soon as she saw Rona who called. He went into hiding to pick up the phone.
"Hello" whispered.
"Father, this afternoon change our meeting at the cafe. I feel like someone is watching me so just in case I want to change our meeting place" Rona said across the street.
"All right, I understand"
"Rona..... Have you finished changing the sheets?" someone shouted from outside the room.
"A, yes, I'm coming soon" replies Ima yelling.
"I had to go" he quickly hung up.
He simply put his phone on the table and immediately rushed to pick up the dirty sheets to give to the other servants, they were quite busy that day as the number of servants was reduced. Ima also got an additional task, he had to clean two rooms alone.
"Finally it's done too. "his murmur stared at the clock that showed six o'clock exactly.
He and the other waitresses changed their clothes back and went home after getting a wage, Ima rushed to the cafe where Rona had been waiting for her since.
"Did those guys follow you?" ima Taya.
"I'm not sure, but it feels like someone is asking for me"
"You'd better move again, it'll take a long time to collect that money but we can do it"
"Thank you, I'm sorry for dragging you into this case" Rona said.
"Mm, don't think about it! we are friends and the point of friends is to help each other" Ima replied as she shook her head.
"Ima." called Rona with tears.
In the embrace of Ima's body tightly, he was grateful to have a very good friend even willing to work hard for her sake.
"It's late you better go home, don't leave your mother alone" Ima said.
"All right, see you tomorrow"
"Dah." said Ima as she waved her hand.
He was still standing there until Rona was completely gone and lost in his sight, only to walk home.
"I missed the train, I better tell mom I'm going home late" he murmured.
"Eh, where's my phone?" he said when he reached into his pocket but there was nothing there.
Ima started looking in the bag, fumbling through her pocket and looking back in the bag again. But his phone wasn't anywhere until he remembered he had finished calling it he put it on the table.
"Damn! I have to go back" he muttered while patting the eel.
Ima ran down the sidewalk and back to the house, seeing the guard still there on duty as usual. He remembered Aeda's words that didn't let anyone come after night because the owner didn't want anyone when he came home.
But Ima had to stay in and take her phone, there was no other way she chose to sneak in. It was not difficult for him to walk without making a sound, he was a vampire who was trained to hunt.
With just one jump of Ima through the wall and managed to enter the yard without anyone knowing, he walked through the yard and entered through an unlocked window.
The house was quite dark because there were no lights to light, but it was not a problem for him because he was a creature of the night. Slowly Ima walked down the room and up the stairs, so far everything is safe without any sign of anyone.
Up upstairs he immediately went into the room where his phone was left behind, slowly he opened the door so as not to make a sound even though he was quite sure there was no one in the house.
In the darkness his eyes skimmed through the room and soon found his phone still on the table, quickly traversing the room to retrieve it.
But just as he managed to retrieve it he suddenly felt a cold aura approaching him from behind, Ima immediately turned around in a standby position however.
Ah...
"Who are you?" whispered a voice that managed to strangle his neck.
Ima was not able to answer because to breathe was enough difficulty, as much as possible he struggled to escape but the grip was strong enough.
His fighting instincts instantly came out as the grip grew stronger, with his free hand he immediately stepped on the wall and pushed the person's body using his feet.
Argh. hhhhhhhhhh Hhhhhh.
Ima succeeded, he was freed but quickly prepared for the next attack despite still having difficulty breathing. But the man was silent, he looked at Ima who was illuminated by the moonlight, slowly the man walked towards the door and turned on the lamp.
"Ah..." said Ima while covering her face because the light of the lamp was dazzling, slowly he opened his eyes after getting used to it and was shocked to look at the man he was so familiar with.
"You, you." call Ima.
"What are you doing in my room?" ask Chad.
"What's? this...your room? that means this is your house!" said Ima who did not answer that question.
"Oh um. I. took my missed phone" he replied quickly because he saw Chad's cold face.
"Why is your phone here?"
"That's because I worked as a waitress in this house, when I called I forgot to put my phone on the table and left it. I have no intention of doing evil! you can ask Aeda's mother she must know me" she explained.
"What's your name?"
"Ima.. My name is Ima." she replied.
Chad watched closely, with the ordinary clothes he was wearing right now making him look different to the Ima he had seen in the forest back then. But Ima's pretty face was still the same as her honest eyes.
"Ima... called while working, you've broken the rules. Tomorrow you can't come here again" Chad said coldly.
"W-what? no-no I beg you. I need this job, please forgive me" said Ima quickly as he ran over.
"I don't like people who are undisciplined"
"Please don't do this, I beg you. I really need this money otherwise the men you beat up at that time will come back and take Rona for sale" Pinta Ima said.
"It's none of my business"
"I'll work harder, I promise I won't do anything wrong again but please don't fire me. I need that money to pay off my Rona debt.I can't see my friend in distress"
"I've told you it's none of my business, after all why do you care so much about him? he is only a victim for our people" Chad said, leaving Ima stunned.
In his body is indeed flowing vampire blood, but he is not a complete vampire because the DNA of his mother who is a human being is in him. He is neither human nor vampire, he is both because there is no dictionary of prey or predators in his life.
"You're wrong, he's not my prey but my friend!" ima said firmly.
Now Ima's eyes stared intently at Chad, a gaze as cold as ice.
"Don't you realize that you're not a real vampire, either? I can feel your aura which is only half-vampire human, the same as mine" he continued.
"I am different, though we are the same but our degrees are different. I don't hunt like the lowly, I drink in a glass without fighting for territory"
"Is that so? then what were you doing in the woods back then in bad clothes if not hunting?"
"That's none of your business"
"Then you also have no right to say that Rona is my prey, even though he is human but he is my friend!" ima said adamantly.
Chad could see Ima's courage from her eyes that were staring intently at her, plus her standing body and clear speech. Just this time in his life there was someone who dared to oppose him, when clearly Ima was only a servant and he was the master.
It makes Chad quite interested in Ima, he knows Ima is not an ordinary vampire.
"Let's go!" take Chad.
"Huh? where to?" ask Ima confused.
"Meet those leeches" Chad replied.
* * *
Poor, it was the first feeling Ima felt when meeting Chad for the first time. After a quiet breakup there is a fondness for remembering Chad's handsome face and a curiosity for his cold personality, but now Ima is confused by Chad's true nature.
It turns out that he was a wealthy man and could live a good life without hunting, like the noble princes Nick told me about.
Chad is cold and indifferent but turns out he is also quite cruel, he is a master without tolerance who is hated by his servants. Which makes Ima confused now suddenly Chad helps Rona to pay off her debts.
Together with Rona they meet the men and only without hesitation pay off the forest Rona despite the number of billions, Ima is happy because this way Rona free and can live a normal life.
But he doubted that everything was really done, Rona could only say thank you without being able to reply but Chad also did not ask for anything in return. He told Rona to come home after all the business was done and live life as usual.
"Thank you for helping us" said Ima.
"I didn't do it for free"
"What's? b-but you said you didn't ask for a reply" Ima said in shock.
"I told your friend because he had nothing and couldn't get back, but you're different"
"Then what do you want from me?" tanya Ima snorted.
Chad approaches Ima and continues to bring her face closer, making Ima nervous and a little afraid to the point of not being able to return Chad's gaze.
"You have to pay for it by being my personal servant" Chad whispered.
"What?"
"Whatever you do or wherever you are when I call you, you must come straight to me"
"If I don't want to?"
"You have to give me back the money I spent to pay off your friend's debt."
Chad took a few steps back and began to turn around and then left the place, leaving behind a pensive Ima with no idea what she should do.
"Damn! I'm entangled."
