Hello Brothers: The Prince of Twins
Chapter 42 The Journey to the Goddess

No matter how many days he lived there, Hans never counted the days and even forgot about his mission. The forest was so peaceful that it made him comfortable in addition to the presence of Elves which made him feel more at home, until one day the Elf asked about the reason why he could be there.

"I'm actually on an important mission"

"Mission?" ask Elf wonder.

"Yes, right now the world outside the forest is very precarious. The vampires invaded the nation of witches and humans blindly, at this time we witches began to lack Knights to protect humans. We are getting overwhelmed and if we continue to allow the world to be destroyed under the rule of the vampire nation" explained Hans.

"I see, in other words you're looking for help"

"I just need someone, my teacher says he's the only one who can stop this mess"

"Who do you mean?"

"The Goddess of Eternity" Hans replied.

The elf was fixated, he was silent with an expression that was hard to guess.

"Elf... Do you know where he is?" ask Hans.

"I know, but not just any creature can get in there. Only the holy-hearted can enter, after all I'm not sure he'll go with you"

"Why? he can't leave his place"

"Although so please take me to him, who knows I can persuade him" Hans asked.

"Well, tomorrow morning we go" replied the Elf.

Hans could only thank the help the Elves gave him, hoping to persuade the Goddess to come with him.

The wind carried the sturdy body towards the end of the hill, in the face of the city that lived even though the night was late. The lights lit up brightly and the temptations of the girls along the walls was something commonplace.

He walked behind the shadow until no one noticed his presence, following the trail left by someone he knew so well. Until he arrived at a magnificent house, there was a guard behind the gate that he could easily pass.

Even he entered the house without anyone knowing, passing through every room and entering every room until he found what he was looking for.

In the dark room he walked slowly over to someone sleeping on the bed, for a while he was still staring at him until he suddenly woke up.

Aaaaa.mmmm.

He quickly moved to shut the man's mouth so that he would stop shouting, then near his ear he whispered.

"Where is the prince?."

As the Elves promised to take Hans to the Goddess, the Elves made him eat breakfast because their journey was quite far away with considerable obstacles.

Starting from sunrise they walked through the forest, Hans was still happy because the trip was fun to accompany the beautiful Elves. About three hours later they came out of the forest and crossed the vast grassland, as far as the eye could see there were only weeds.

"Hans you haven't told me how you got to my forest" Elf said.

"I went to the tomb of the vampire Lord, where I followed the magic trail and went into the tree hole until it ended up in your forest"

"Once you are, you are indeed a witch" muttered the Elf.

"Why?" hans asked curiously.

"The hole is the path to another dimension, anyone who enters them can end up in a different place. Depending on the strength that his body has, you are a pretty reliable magician so it's no wonder that you can end up in my forest" explained Elf.

They continued their journey in silence, this was the first time Hans had ever seen another part of the world. He was endlessly amazed by the various things that nature had, even though it was only a pinch of grass that was stepped on.

After he had lived with the Elves not only was the wound on his arm healed but also the wound on his heart, he now looked at the world with different eyes.

The meadow ended with rocks that border other areas, when the sun began to rise up their feet they had to step with great caution because the terrain they passed was a rock hill.

If they were not careful they could slip and fall against a sharp rock equal to a sword, Hans' breathing sounds started to sound dull but he still continued even though the Elves offered him a break.

Without a place to shelter according to Hans they will die of heat, then it is better to continue the journey.

"Are you not tired of Elves?" ask Hans.

"Not yet, I'm used to it so it doesn't matter that's why you have to have breakfast" replied the Elf who could still smile.

"Ah.. You are better than me" Hans murmured.

It was clear that the sun was up there but Hans felt the heat of hell as if the distance between his head and the sun was only a short while, slowly his vision began to blur with slow steps.

"Hans." called the Elf when he saw Hans' body almost fall.

Srek..

The Elf quickly propped up Hans' body, slowly laying him in a safe place and giving him a drink.

"What... is it close?" ask Hans slowly.

"Hans.. Our journey is still half a day away, if you can't afford it we should return" said Elf who could not bear to see Hans' condition.

"No. I will not retreat. I must bring the Goddess" he replied.

Slowly Hans began to rise, if he could not stand then he chose to crawl. Although slow but in the end he will certainly arrive as well, Hans' unyielding spirit makes Elves feel pity. He could not bear to see Hans struggle but nothing could do much, just a bottle of drinking water that he could give.

"I will help you" said the Elf as she raised Hans' hand and placed it on her shoulder.

With them walking back step by step until the sun began to fall so that the heat was not too stinging, Hans smile began to arise when from a distance he saw a lush forest.

His steps were getting better until he was able to walk without the help of Elves, his spirit began to blaze until he finally reached the forest.

Brucks

Hhhhhhh Hhhhhh Hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Hans deliberately dropped his body on the soft dry leaves, his breath that seemed to be thinning slowly can be adjusted until it began to normal again.

Ishhh...

Erangnya when he tried to get up, there was pain in his feet and when he opened his shoes apparently there were many blisters there.

"Hans.. if you force your wound will get worse" said Elf saw the wound on Hans's leg.

"It's okay, I'll bandage it so it doesn't get worse" Hans replied.

They also returned to walking even though this time Hans's steps were shaken by the wounds he had on his legs.

"Our journey is still far from Hans, although no wild beast can prey on us but the real obstacle is our own step. Warm forests, meadows, rock hills and now lush forests with roots that can block our steps, are your feet still strong through the terrain? after this we will pass through the swamp and not to mention the desert" said Elf.

"I'm fine, what about you? are you still strong?"

"Why worry about me? look at even I'm not sweating one bit" the Elf said with a frown.

Haha

"I'm sorry that I made things difficult for you, this time I will try not to burden you" Hans replied with a smile on his face.

Unfortunately because their steps were too slow at sunset they just came out of the forest, Elves suggested to spend the night and continue the journey tomorrow because the terrain they would pass through was a swamp forest where they should be able to step correctly rather than get caught in a puddle of mud.

"Elf... What is the Great Goddess?" hans asked in the middle of their break.

"He is full of mystery, he can be anything depending on what our mind describes him. What is clear is that he is an eternity that cannot die" replied the Elf.

"So yes, said my teacher she is a very beautiful girl, full of passion and easy emotions. But she is very kind and willing to sacrifice herself for the sake of others especially her friend, in just an ordinary girl who falls in love with a vampire and lives in the ashes of love" hans said while staring at the burning red embers.

"Heh, I don't know what my teacher meant but she proudly said when she was young that she was the Goddess' boyfriend" Hans said with a smile because to her it was ridiculous.

"What's your teacher's name?" asked the Elf with a flat face.

"Shishio" Hans replied.

There was no specific expression the Elves showed but clearly he knew something Hans was unaware of.

Hooooaammm...

"I'm already sleepy, good night Elf" Hans said as he wriggled.

"Good night" replied the Elf.

Hans laid his body down just like that while the Elf was still looking at the fire dancing on the firewood, long enough until he finally fell asleep and went to sleep.

As dawn broke they continued their journey, now Hans was more energetic after getting enough rest and eating some fruit.

"Stop!" said Elf suddenly.

"A-what's up?" hans asked who immediately stopped moving.

"Resert" he commanded.

Hans took a few steps back then the Elf searched for something around him, he picked up a medium-sized wood and threw it forward.

The wood slowly moved and went into the leaves, apparently Hans almost stepped into the suction mud that was buried in the leaves.

"Gruesome." he muttered that he had almost died in vain.

"You have to be more careful, there's a lot of suction mud here" the Elf warned.

Hans nodded slowly still in horror as he looked at the wood that had sunk, The Elf took a step first and Hans followed behind.

It was as if the Elves had gotten used to taking precise steps so that they could get out of the forest in a safe state, but the day had already begun to day. If they are not fast the next terrain is desert where it will be more dangerous if the sun is already overhead.

But still, they had only been through half the desert when the sun was completely overhead. Hans felt the heat was twice as great as the rock, his shoes were filled with sand and his clothes were dirty.

His wounded leg thrashed for help which made his heart agitated and wanted to stop there, but it was too far to go back. After all, he could not just leave the mission while everyone was hoping for him.

Hhhhhhhhh Hhhhhhhhh Hhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

His breath began to stifle as if there was no oxygen there, with the legs beginning to wobble his steps more slowly while swallowing saliva to wet his throat.

With one hand he protected his eyes as he tried to see how close the sun was to his head, but all he saw was a dazzling light that seemed to engulf his body and vanish into the pitch darkness.

It was only dark that even he himself was unable to see his hand, he tried to fumble but there was nothing there. Strangely though he walked but his feet did not tread anything, he floated.

He blinked a few times until the darkness slowly faded, although it was not clear but he could see the stars in the sky and the lush foliage.

Slowly the more he blinked, he could finally see a brightly lit bonfire beside him.

"You awake?" ask Elf.

"What... I just fainted?" hans asked trying to remember.

"Yes, even long enough until the sun goes down"

"Then..where are we? weren't we in the desert?" hans asked while trying to get up.

"We've reached the forest"

"you mean? lest you take me through the desert. "guess Hans guessed.

"Seeing your strong determination there's no way I'm letting you die in the desert, this! eat the soup so that you get back energized" said Elf while offering a bowl of soup that he made.

"Thank you" Hans replied taking the bowl.

He immediately ate the soup until it ran out, for a while they fell silent to enjoy a silent night until finally deciding to rest.

"We're close" the Elf said that afternoon.

"really?" hans asked who was excited when he was going to despair.

The elf led the way through the thickets that covered the visibility, his steps halting upon seeing the waterfall right before his eyes.

"Is this the place?" hans asked so out of the bushes.

"Come on!" bring Elf.

He walked on a steep cliff, stepping with certainty though the closer they got to the waterfall the smaller the road. Until finally the Elves took him into the waterfall.

Apparently behind the rushing waterfall there is a cave with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites, The elves continued to lead the way in as well until they arrived at a room with a huge rock in the middle.

"Give me some water" pinta Elf.

Hans gave him a bottle of water and then the Elf poured under the floor, Hans saw the water flowing through the cracks until he reached the large rock in the middle.

Slowly the water came out of the rock and spilled back onto the floor, but the water was slowly lifted into the air and created a female figure.

"Greet the Goddess" said the Elf, bowing her body.
