Chapter 52 Hans's Determination and the Drama of the Colt Family

Reah's search is sweet, knowing Nick lived in the city of Ooty recently. Together with Hans he left and until the time the sun had set, it was no big deal because if there was no hotel they could sleep anywhere as long as the place was safe from danger.

But Hans decides to keep looking for Nick without a break, no time should be wasted for the success of his mission. Although Reah was a little irritated but he also joined because he did not want to stay just like that, armed with the knowledge obtained from the Academy they managed to find Nick in the forest hunting.

"Aren't you Shishio's students?" ask Nick who didn't forget that face.

"Right, we came here on purpose because there are things we want to say" Hans said impatiently.

Seeing the serious expression of the two Nick also invited them to his house, actually it was just a dilapidated uninhabited house. After the Colt family moved into their new home they had no room or roof for Nick to live in.

Therefore Nick looking for his own residence as long as it is safe enough for him to sleep during the day, its location not far from the Colt residence also makes it quite strategic.

"Sorry the place is very dusty, you can sit anywhere" Nick said.

Hans placed his body on the sofa despite the dust, after going through various obstacles to meet the Goddess and the Magic Potion the dust was meaningless.

Hans did not feel that he was joking, from the frown on his forehead it was clear that he was very serious in this matter. But Nick's laughter was so loose as if he was joking, of course, confused he could only look at each other with Reah.

"You're really raw son" Nick said after a tired laugh.

"You mean?" hans asked offended.

"Even if the two camps make a deal it will have no effect on my food, even though the word peace has come if I am reckless in preying on humans you will not protect me. Instead you will hunt me like a monster that must be eradicated, not to mention the threat from the humans themselves" explained Nick.

Both Reah and Hans did not think that far, he thought that if the war was over then all the problems would be over.

Thirst is excruciating, like your throat burning to dry and then slowly slashing."

Hans gulped, of course he knew how thirst felt when in the desert about to meet the Goddess.

"When I try only to meet my needs, I never take anyone's life to quench this thirst but at all times my salvation is threatened by those of you who consider me a monster. Living independently by finding their own prey, plus the duty of the Palace to keep the nobles I passed through the day like in hell for hundreds of years then war or peace is no longer my business."

So far Reah thinks vampires are monsters that must be exterminated, he did not think that the life of vampires like Nick is much more tragic than him.

"Jhon? your point...Jhon saved me at the request of that man named Chad?" ask Colt to clarify.

Ima nodded.

"Aahh...why didn't you tell me that long ago? the young man must have thought that he was very shameless because he just left without saying thank you" said Colt, which made Ima quite surprised.

"Please apologize to my father and invite him to come to our house for dinner"

"What?" tanya Ima did not believe in what she had just heard.

"Mother agrees, you've known her for a long time so it's only natural that you introduce her to us" Mina said in support.

Ima can only smile while nodding uncertainly, she began to imagine the furore that occurred when her parents found Chad very similar to Agler.

The rest of the night that he should use to rest was wasted by daydreaming in the moonlight, his mind was full of various things until his head felt dizzy.

Tired but unable to close his eyes Hans groaned as hard as he could, trying to devise every problem from the most emergency because he could not get rid of it.

"There's no way I'm giving up on it, if I give up then my struggle to get this potion will be in vain. After all, I'm sure even Elves would be sad if they knew I was giving up on the situation" he said to himself.

Without telling Reah to go alone to see Nick to persuade him again, seeing Hans standing right behind his door Nick just snorted violently.

"You're a pretty stubborn person" he commented.

"I can't just give up, even though maybe the war doesn't really end but at least I kept my promise to Master Shishio" Hans said seriously.

"Curtain! it's troublesome!" knock Nick while walking towards the window.

"If you don't want to come then I won't force you, but please make a palace plan so I can go alone."

Nick did not look like he did not care and did not want to intervene, seeing that cold attitude certainly made Hans upset until unexpectedly he did something that made Nick surprised.

His knees hit the floor hard as he threw himself down, his head bowing in earnest he would not lift before Nick agreed.

"Why do you humans always insist?" nick asked with a surprised face.

"Because there's someone I want to bring into this world, if I show you a world full of bloodshed how can he have a good impression."

He had just thought about this, although Elves had personal reasons not to come out of their territory but he was sure that one day the Elves could come with him to see the amazing world.

"Really?" hans raised his head.

Nick nodded his head which made Hans cheer and say thank you endlessly, it was quite disturbing but secretly Nick was happy.

To be honest he was touched at Hans' seriousness, his determination and stubbornness reminded Nick of Ima. He is sometimes overwhelmed by the harsh nature of it but on the other hand he also likes it.

Usually, Joyi would question that smile, but now she was happy because she knew why. The magnificent house is now truly luxurious because of the growth of flowers on each stalk and heart of a person, making it beautiful and warm.

"You're back soon, grandma thinks it's gonna take a few more days"

"I just went home to take care of a few things, tomorrow I'll go again" Chad replied.

Joyi nodded and continued her eating session, as usual there would be chats around work to eliminate the desolation in the room. Actually Alisya hoped there would be other lighter topics such as TV shows, but the two people were too busy with work to not know the popular shows on TV.

"Ah..either this is because of age or too tired it feels like my legs hurt very much" said Joyi after finishing eating.

"Is grandma okay? should I call a doctor?" bargain Chad.

"No need, grandma will soak it with warm water only. Aeda, please prepare!"

"Okay ma'am" replied the butler.

"Let me help" said Alisya got up to accompany Joyi to her room.

Meanwhile Chad goes outside to enjoy the quiet night atmosphere in his home garden, usually he will spend time in the library with his books but that night the reflection of the moon in the pool is too beautiful to miss.

How long did Manager San come to him while carrying the file in hand, he kindly greeted Chad as usual.

"What did you bring?" ask Chad more curious about it.

"Oh this is the file that Miss Joyi asked for, I'd like to hand this over to her"

"So apparently, grandma is resting. He said his leg hurt so let me hand it over to him, you can go home after this"

"ill? maybe because they travel a lot?" gumam Manager San's.

"traveled? where to?" chad asked curiously because Joyi didn't say anything to him.

"Grandmother.What plans are you putting together?" muttered.

Chad chose to ask directly, whatever the plan was he had a premonition that it was something bad.
