A reporter reported the weather tomorrow will snow first, the children began to be nice and even help the elderly for Christmas gifts that will be given to the old man with a white beard not too long ago.
This year will be the same as the previous years, along the way all the places will be white with snow dolls in every yard of the house.
But one thing is different this year for Chad, he has someone to smile at. A person who grips his heart tightly enough that any effort he makes will be in vain just to open one finger.
Unfortunately the gift he will give must be paid at a high price, not from the value of the currency but the time that has not yet come.
"I've prepared everything you've asked for" Manager San said.
Although her gaze was fixed on a wood engraved with her baby's name but what Chad saw was more than that, she kept it in a box and closed it tightly.
"Immediately get the car ready, we're leaving now" Chad said.
"Good" replied Manager San obediently.
Manager San goes first to prepare the car, while Chad says goodbye to Joyi. There was a bitter smile that Joyi first showed, of course because she wanted Chad not to waste the happiness he just got.
The blessing he gave half-heartedly was forced to take Chad's departure to the front door, before getting into the car there was still a smile on Chad's face as if saying 'all will be good'.
The car door was shut after Chad entered, as the speeding car of Joyi was still standing there to see the departure of her strong-spirited grandson.
"Where's Chad going?" asked Alisya who had just approached.
"Finish the job" replied Joyi slowly.
Chad has thought about it quite carefully, he is ready to take all the risks for his arrival today. Although one of the risks he will receive is to die in solitude when his heart has someone, even in this time he also has a family that he has always wanted.
"We have arrived sir" the driver said.
Hhhhhhhh
The sigh marked the heart ready for battle, its head moving to look at a magnificent gate with a guard inside.
Manager San who first came out immediately opened the door for him, accompanied by Manager San who was right behind him immediately he approached the gatekeeper.
"Tell your master that young master Chad is going to visit" he said.
The gatekeeper lowered his head in understanding before he ran towards the house, from behind the gate he could see shortly after Violet came out of the house. Her quick steps accompanied the happy smile on her aging beautiful face, behind her slim body Chad also saw the other Hermes members start to come out to look.
"Good day, Miss Violet" said Chad.
"Dear too, please come in" Violet replied happily.
Chad starts to step in and follow Manager San behind him, when he meets the other Hermes members not to forget he also greeted him. Sitting in the living room after the waiter served Violet drinks began to chat by asking for news just for stale bases.
"I'm so glad you came to visit" he said.
"I was so, lately I was busy with work until it was quite difficult to have free time because of that I think it's a good time to visit after the dinner"
"You're right, I'm a little sad because you just went home without having time to relax with us" Violet said.
Chad does smile in response to the chatter from Violet, but his eyes can always see clearly the look on the faces of Jack, Shigima and Ryu who are less pleased with his presence.
"You're very kind, I'm flattered at the attitude of the mistress who would accept even considering me as part of the family for it allow me to ask for a few minutes" said Chad who then looked at Manager San.
One nod was enough to make Manager San understand, he immediately went out while the Hermes family stared in confusion. Not long after that Manager San reentered the house with some gifts assisted by the waiter.
"I think this is the right time, right now Miss Kyra is still young but that does not mean this relationship can be delayed. As you can see, without prejudice to respect I would like to seek the approval of Mr. Jack as the head of the family in this house and Mr. Ryu as a father. With the dowry I have brought I want Kyra as part of my life, may you all please" Chad said.
"You mean.you.you.want to marry Kyra?" violet asked in disbelief.
"It's too early to say it like that, but I hope we can tie a family rope with an engagement. At the moment Miss Kyra is still studying, I think Miss Kyra wants a slow approach to get to know each other well with me" Chad replied.
Almost Violet jumped from her seat so happy to hear the news, finally the dream of becoming a big mistress that she had always wanted would come true.
But that happiness doesn't apply to the rest of Hermes, especially Jack who, even with Chad's visit, makes him uncomfortable.
"I'm so happy to hear this news, it's a pity Kyra is not at home" Violet said staring at the items on the table.
"E-hm, as you say, it's too early to have a sacred relationship. Since you understand that as well, I'm sure you also understand that we can't agree to this either" Jack said, leading Violet's eyes to her.
"Ah, yes of course I also understand" said Chad.
"Young master, if you'd like please give us a minute" Violet forced herself to smile.
"Oh, of course" Chad replied.
Simply with a look Jack understood he had to leave the room and follow Violet inside, seeing it as Ryu's father was allowed to leave the room until it was only Shigima to accompany him.
"Have I told you not to interfere in my affairs, why do you still violate them?" violet asked in a pretty sharp tone.
"First he called me head of the family in this house it means he's got permission from me first, second you know the reason I don't like him" Jack replied still in a soft tone.
"It's all just a formality, look how polite he is who knows how to be brave to respect the older. But that doesn't mean you decide" Violet said cynically.
"Violet please slow down your voice a little, you don't deserve to talk like that to dad" Ryu said, who got a sharp look.
"I don't want to argue about this anymore, anyway I'm going to accept Chad's proposal"
"You can't do that, we don't know the boy well, we don't even know how his family is" Jack said.
"What's? when did that happen?" ryu asked who was cukuo shocked to hear the confession.
"You don't have to interfere"
"Violets! I am Kyra's father and I am entitled to her" Ryu said seriously.
"really? then where is your responsibility as a father all this time? why don't you come back busy with your poor patient and the magic business that doesn't produce anything? let me share my daughter with you."
There was a full pressure in the speech that made her chest feel tight, both for Violet and Ryu the remark was as painful as a thousand needle punches in different places.
Even Jack did not bother to talk in the midst of his own children's family problems, maybe Violet's abusive nature lately is an outlet of patience that he maintained for several years.
"I'm sorry" Ryu said softly.
"I'm sorry? wh-wh-what for? because of a promise you can't fulfill? no problem, instead I thank you for taking me off the stage even though that right is not enough to make me happy."
Once again his chest felt tight, trying to stand the test of this life despite the tears that flowed he tried to smile.
"At least please don't decide this matter by yourself, we shouldn't be selfish over our daughter's life. Blue has a right to his own future, so let him decide" Ryu said.
A young man like Chad is very difficult to get even if he has a big name behind his name, Violet is afraid that he will not get a big opportunity like this again but Ryu's persuasion is always able to make him melt.
In the end Chad returns home without a definitive answer, he has to wait until Kyra gives her own answer. It's not a big deal for him, because Chad's not after Kyra.
From the beginning Kyra was indeed a bridge for him, behind the proposal he sent there was another purpose that he hid. That is a crack on the foundation of the house of Hermes, when the crack was getting wider then it only took one light blow to destroy it.

Of course Keenan was aware of the gaze, he understood why Hans did not even blink when he saw Shishio's arrival.
"Ah, why don't you say hello to your fellow witches?" ask Keenan.
"I came to report my research" said Shishio, who turned his eyes away from Hans, though Hans's gaze was still on him.
"You got the results?" ask Keenan.
Now Hans's gaze turned to the golden bottle Shishio had given Keenan, as he had suspected the potion had been taken from him.
"It's a pretty unique thing, I've never seen it anywhere. There is a mixture of minerals and others but for its own function I do not know, for sure this is not a poison but a kind of medicine" Shishio explained.
Keenan frowned at the explanation, turning to Hans he asked.
"What are you going to use with this thing? then why did you steal the ashes of the vampire Lord as well?"
"Heh, if you want the answer, don't you have to let me live?" hans replied with a dismissive smile.
The vampire guard who saw the attitude looked furious and was about to teach Hans a lesson with a ton of just a punch, but Keenan was happy. He could see the hard lesson Hans received to make the strong attitude, without compromising his respect Hans behaved like a manly man.
"It looks like you're good at negotiating" Keenan commented.
"It depends on your offer"
"Hehe, isn't being able to breathe air gratidly already a fair price?"
"Hhhhhhh apparently my price is quite cheap, I think there will be something more" Hans sighed.
"You're really good at negotiating" Keenan commented.
"Bring him down and don't forget to feed" Keenan told his subordinates.
While Hans wondered in his mind about the whereabouts of Shishio who seemed to be no musuj in the palace and about what Keenan would do to him, Keenan himself apparently already had a plan.
"I'm going to make a wish letter to the leader of the witches, we need to meet to discuss something" Keenan said in his room.
"Then what are you going to do with that witch?" ask Tianna.
Obviously Hans had a meaning they didn't know about, but interrogating him was pointless. In view of the courage that entered the enemy's territory alone was made sure Hans would not open his mouth as difficult as anything.
"I'll get Shishio to continue his research, I'm sure the answer must be on that thing. After I finish writing the letter, I'll have the witch deliver it"
"So you're just gonna set him free?" ask Tianna.
"He's not very useful, no matter how strong he is I still surpass him. We also have Shishio who is smarter and more reliable in finding information, plus an old vampire who does not need to be doubted anymore and you who I can rely on" he replied.
"But Shishio is new, he's a cool person to talk to but you know it's hard to trust people like that"
"You take it easy, he didn't miss the test either" replied Keenan who already had plans for Shishio.
Finished writing a letter to a guard to bring Hans to him, Keenan told him to be a messenger pigeon.
It was quite surprising Hans because outside of his expedition, at least he thought he would get some lessons that imprint on his body. But Keenan only had a few soldiers escort him to the border, making sure Hans actually left without leaving any trouble.
One business was done, now Keenan turned to Shishio. He took her to a place that turned out to be quite far away, the place was in human territory but not touched by human hands.
Shishio suspiciously watches the path they pass until they arrive at a house more terrifying than the one where he first joined, entering into the darker house of their cave led to the basement.
A huge tall vampire greeted their arrival, there. A walled chamber of iron trellis with a musty and rotten smell that mixed into one Shishio saw a lump of body that was in chains.
