Given that Chad is a vampire there is no way he has a weapon made of silver, it means that there are others who want Jack dead.

"Sorry doctor, the young man who came with my father was he hurt too?" ask Shigima.

"Oh, you mean Chad? he was not injured, he who came to bring the patient while carrying him. If he's a little late I don't think your father will survive, Chad's son closed the wound properly and brought it here quickly. It was the best way to save a patient's life" he replied.

That means Chad told me honestly, he didn't hurt Jack and even saved his life.

Shigima returned to her family, still carrying a big question mark over her head.

"What's up, brother?" ryu asked looking at that confused face.

"The weapon that wounded my father did not belong to anyone else, and the bullet was made of pure silver"

"What's? that doesn't mean Chad did this?" ask Ryu.

"Why do you want Chad to do this so badly?" violet asked suddenly.

Shigima and Ryu lowered their heads, embarrassed enough to admit that they had been prejudiced.

"I did misjudge Chad as a potential son-in-law, but I never misjudged Chad for his kindness. That's why I chose to stand next to him, rather than those of you who always say good but never good heart" he said again.

Carrying the vexation Violet chose to leave the place, forgetting the endless troubles of the Hermes family. Refocus on Kyra who has just found a good man, hoping that fate will take her side through Hakan.
