Chapter 27 The Will of Ima

Keenan re-entered the basement, this time a growling sound greeted him from inside the cell. But he doesn't care about it as much as he used to, his goal is to meet Alabama then only he's the focus.

"You called me?" ask Keenan.

"Yes, here!" alabama handed him a paper.

"What's this?"

"List of people who could possibly replace Anna"

"You mean?"

"Find those people and find them, once you bring those people alive to me then we can see them later" Alabama explained.

Keenan held tightly onto the piece of paper, he still had hope despite not being able to find Anna's whereabouts. He quickly rushed back to the surface, meeting Tianna to give him an important task.

On the white paper the pencil kept moving to make stripes until it formed something, with the mind that did not stop imagining Alisya finished his sketches until suddenly a hand hugged his neck from behind.

"What are you doing?" agler whispered right in his ear.

"Dome"

"Come?" repeat Agler while moving to sit next to Alisya.

"My teacher is going to do a painting exhibition, he told us to do the best painting because he's going to put it on display with his other work"

"really? isn't this good for getting your work public recognition?"

"That's why I spend my time sketching, there are a lot of ideas in my brain and one of them I'll pick later"

"Hopefully you succeed, I will continue to support you" Agler said, making Alisya happy.

Alisya continued her sketches accompanied by the loyal Agler beside her.

Ima slowly opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was a white ceiling with a lamp hanging in the middle. He felt strange because his room did not feel like that, a few seconds later he remembered that last night he should have been cleaning the room.

As Ima sat down and looked around the room, the room was empty with no one there. Slowly he walked out of the room and checked every room, but Chad was everywhere.

"I must have fallen asleep last night, and where did that cold master go?" muttered.

"Well, I'd better go home."

He quickly came home and lucky to still have time to change clothes before going to school, he looked lethargic because all night serving Chad to lack of rest.

But that night without caring about Ima's health, Chad again told him to come, with a face that was paler than usual, he went to see Chad.

"What else is this time?" ketus Ima's.

"What is the attitude of a servant to his master? you really need to be disciplined"

"Don't you see my pale face? I have a fever for having to serve you all night with trivial requests"

"I don't care, make me some soup" Chad said coldly.

Ima is eager to beat Chad with both claws, but of course he must resist the annoyance because Chad has helped his friend. Ima immediately went to the kitchen and prepared the ingredients, but he did not find the chives as a complementary ingredient.

"Chad the chives are not there" Ima told me.

"How dare you call me by my name" Chad said irritatedly.

"There's no time to argue, if you want the soup then hurry up and go to the supermarket and buy chives" said Ima, who has no time to argue.

"Wait on! you're the one who's supposed to be shopping, I'll take you" Chad said.

Inevitably Ima had to come along, using the car they went to the supermarket. Ima's main purpose is the chives but after arriving there he was tempted by other things such as beautiful glasses even dolls.

"Ah..... Chad I want strawberries" said Ima who was tempted by their large size.

"Can't! our goal is the chives so that's all we're gonna buy"

"You're so stingy! then I won't cook for you!"

"You.... "

Their quarrel stopped because a mother laughed near them, it was clear that she was laughing at them.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to laugh at you. Just seeing you guys made me remember the first time I was at home with my boyfriend, we fought a lot and I would sulk by not cooking for him" explained the mother.

"Oh. so. " said Ima.

"Hey son, give up on your girlfriend. A girl as sweet as she is if you get angry must be troublesome right?" mom whispered to Chad.

"E-eh.. "

"Well have fun" he said, leaving Chad unable to explain their relationship.

"What did your mother say?" ask Ima curious.

"Bu-not your business! yes, take everything you want" Chad said with a reddened face.

Ima no longer asked because he managed to get what he wanted, after satisfied shopping new they bought the materials needed and went home.

Ima quickly cooks the soup Chad wants after they get home, the fragrant smell can be smelled by Chad even though Ima just want to serve it in a bowl.

He ate quite voraciously though slowly, from his face Ima could guess the cuisine was delicious and can be received well by Chad.

"Can I go home now?" ask Ima.

"No! make me some coffee first"

"Ah.. alright." replied Ima lazily.

Finished he washes all the dirty dishes of the new Ima heats the water to make coffee, but finished the coffee made suddenly his head dizzy until unbearable. Without realizing it his body just collapsed onto the floor.

Fifteen minutes passed and Chad still had not received his coffee, he began to get upset and prepared to rebuke Ima. But when he went to the kitchen he found it was Ima's body lying on the floor.

"Hey.. Ima... Ima. "call him while patting his cheek.

"Damn! she said she wasn't feeling well and I forced her to work" she said, blaming herself.

Chad tries to calm down and think of a way, then he remembers the drugs given by Jhon to overcome the vampire disease. Chad immediately took the drug, chewed one drug until it crumbles and then he gave it to Ima directly through his mouth.

The bitter taste of the medicine was apparently so pronounced on Ima's sensitive tongue that she regained consciousness, slowly opening her eyes and Chad's face so close was the first thing she saw.

Ima blinked a few times, feeling her tongue that felt strange until Chad opened her eyes and.

Argh....

"You're conscious" said Chad, who was shocked to take a few steps back.

Ima did not answer, he still felt his tongue bitter but then he realized what had happened.

Ima screams and throws a pillow into Chad's face.

"What are you doing?" shout Chad.

"Basic bawdy! I should have asked you that!" reply Ima.

"Look, you idiot! I just saved your life" Chad said, not accepting the allegations.

"Save a life what? I didn't drown so why did you give me that kiss?"

"I gave you medicine, that's what I did!"

"What's? some medicine?" asked Ima who was aware that the bitter taste was a medicine.

"With a fainting state where you can swallow a solid medicine, therefore I destroyed it first I just gave it to you" Chad explained.

Ima fell silent, reviewing the sentence Chad just said until he understood.

"You mean. you." said Ima who just understood.

Once again Ima threw the right pillow over Chad's face back.

"What are you doing?" shout Chad.

"Basic stupid! you can destroy it with a spoon or other object, just give a little water. Why do you have to destroy it with your mouth!" reply Ima yelling.

"Ah.. a-I. don't think there" Chad admitted.

He was too worried because there was only one himself, especially Ima is a fellow vampire so he knew even a sick doctor was not so good at treating him. The only way he thought about it was just this.

"Ma-sorry.

Ima softens, she sees sincerity in Chad's eyes which makes her realize that Chad has a good side that she rarely shows.

"Originally you know it was my first kiss" Ima teased.

Chad was surprised, a girl as sweet as Ima apparently just did that with him. But suddenly he became embarrassed because it was also the first time for him, all this time he was not close to anyone and Ima was the only girl who was now in his life.

"Ma-sorry. "return Chad.

"Sorry not enough, you have to take responsibility for what you've done"

"What do you mean? how am I responsible?" ask Chad confused.

Ima got closer to Chad's body until it made Chad a little clumsy.

"Be my girlfriend"

"What?" ask Chad when he hears it clearly.

"Actually you're my type, although I don't like your self-organizing and selfish attitude but that doesn't really matter. Be my girlfriend and redeem that kiss"

"Are you crazy? who wants to be the girlfriend of a kid like you?"

"My age is fifteen years, I am not a child anymore" said Ima annoyed.

"As for me you're a child, I don't like you anyway so why should I obey your wishes?"

"If I can make you fall in love how?"

"No way! you're not my taste" said Chad, who made Ima ride apoplexy.

"All right! mr. Chad listen to me, every day I will express my feelings for you so be prepared. I will also make you fall in love with me even if I am not your taste" Ima said seriously.

"Don't talk nonsense, go there! looks like you're cured" Chad replied, looking away.

"You see, I won't give up until anytime" Ima said determinedly.

He got up from the bed and left the house, anyone already knows the nature of Ima who never gave up if it had been resolved. The nature that sometimes bothers Agler because inevitably he must obey the wishes of Ima, with the aim that Ima came home to start a plan.

Without him realizing that Chad is secretly following him from behind, only to make sure Ima gets home safely.

Tianna came back with the information he already got, it was not difficult for him to look for some vampires because he had strong hypnotic abilities. Keenan who had been waiting for him to realize earlier quickly welcomed his return.

"Have you found it?" ask Keenan.

"Of course, but not everything. I just got some information and I've been stalking them for a while"

"Good, I want to take them alive. It's even better if you can take them as allies"

"But how?" ask Tianna.

"They are half-vampire humans who live under a human environment, inevitably they have to behave like ordinary humans. Find out their weaknesses, whether it's mounting debt or something else. We use that weakness to make them our slaves"

"All right I understand" Tianna replied.

Keenan smiled happily, finally what he had longed for so far could be achieved as well. Without Anna he was sure the power would be his, and after he managed to get it according to plan he would take the throne of the kingdom in order to get more.
