Chapter 84 The Hero

During the week one by one Hermes members were kidnapped and held captive in the palace, they were placed in different rooms with strict guard. Now only Jack and Hans are still free to roam because they are hiding so as not to be caught, already two days the soldiers do the search but go home empty-handed.

With great difficulty Ima gulped, for a moment she thought she could be friendly with Keenan because of his good treatment. It turns out Keenan is still cold-blooded as Ballard said, if this is no other way than to start a war.

As time wore on leaving fifteen gripping minutes, a large-bodied vampire with an equally large sword began to prepare in the front line when a block of wood was placed there.

Back at Kyra, tears were the first liquid to stain the wooden lump.

With one gesture he ordered the executioner to draw his sword, a faint sound of friction made each eye shudder at the horror that was about to happen.

The body fell down right before Keenan, his wide eyes staring in horror before finally slowly melting into ashes.

After a few seconds of tension he opened his eyes, feeling his head still pressing against the wooden chunk. Slowly he lifted his head and saw the dead executioner and turned to ashes, no one knew what had happened.

But when Keenan saw an arrow lying on the dust of his subordinates he had found an answer, a person or a group hid close enough to him and killed his subordinates with arrows made of silver.

"Damn! how dare you! come out and face me manly!" yell Keenan wrath.

Right on the right side where Keenan stood Shishio and Hans breathed a sigh of relief for successfully saving Kyra, after learning they were taken to the battlefield Shishio immediately helped Hans to save his family.

They devised a plan by summoning great archers to besiege Keenan's army, with Hans suggesting they use arrows made of silver to make the vampires deadlier.

"I can only help you get here, and their lives are in your hands" Shishio whispered.

"I understand" he answered.

Shishio smiled and patted the student on the shoulder before leaving the battlefield, but suddenly Hans called out.

"Yes?"

"Um. sorry for doubting you" he said regretfully.

Shishio smiled, even though he was now a group with Keenan but that did not mean he betrayed his own people. This is what Hans only realized and so he was quite embarrassed, apparently Shishio was indeed a real hero who moved behind the scenes.

Now it's time for him to be a hero not just for his family but for everyone, seeing the smiles and nods of Shishio Hans again raise his head and focus on the safety of his family.

While they fight fiercely Ima tries to free Jesaa, Amelia and Kyra and take them to a safer side, while Jack fights the vampire guards.
