Chapter 7: Living in the City

He still vividly remembers the tears that Mina let out because of the separation that occurred between them, the blue day entered her soft recess because of the farewell speech and advice that Mina gave.

The first night in town apparently made Agler unable to sleep, he still did not adapt well but still looked fit despite not sleeping all night.

Giant immediately took Agler to the market when the sun still did not show its light, in the store where he sold fresh fish has many people doing buying and selling activities.

Giant also introduced Agler to the fish suppliers, they were sailors who came all the way just to sell their catch for Giant resale.

At first Agler felt awkward as most of them were hard-faced with frowns on his forehead, he felt as if everyone hated him. But Giant told me that they were really good, their faces were that type and rarely were they joking so there was no need to be taken for heart.

The first day of helping out at the Giant market admitted Agler was very talented, with a handsome face he hooked many female customers to shop. Their intelligence also makes it easier for them to make transactions.

Besides his job in the market Agler had already chosen a faculty for him to continue his schooling on the advice of Giant, that day he went to enroll and went home as soon as possible after his affairs were completed.

Agler's good value made it easy to receive, now his two wishes have been granted and for that he gave news to his family in the village.

As a mother, of course, Mina will continue to help Agler's life so that she does not lack anything, even though Agler himself wants to be independent without the help of parents.

"You have a very good family, your people are in full support of your decision even ready to help at the most difficult time" Giant commented.

"Yes, that's why I don't want to trouble them"

"Then you have to work hard, the salary I give you may be enough for college money. You have to rack your brains to supplement your income, in this area many young men who work extra to earn more money"

Now that Agler has started to adapt, he can sleep well and wake up early to start working in the market.

But when he opened the toilet door to his surprise he saw two men who were hitting someone on the floor, Agler immediately approached the man in the crack and helped him.

"Hey man! it's our business, you better leave or you'll get in trouble" replied one of the men.

"But what you're doing is outrageous, can't you talk about it?"

"Ck don't get involved!" shouted one of them while raising a fist.

His fist was quite large and strong but Agler was able to fend him off quickly, not accepting that one other person tried to hit him but he failed.

Upset that Agler always escapes they also throw a lot of punches and kicks but Agler still escapes, even several times Agler makes them hurt themselves because the punches they lay even hit the wall.

A few minutes passed by Agler ending the fight by hitting them, only one punch but managed to make them fall and run away.

"Hey... Are you okay?" agler asked as he approached the person who had just been in the corner.

"Well, I'm fine, thank you guys" he replied.

"You look messed up" Agler commented, looking at the man's bruised face and his messy hair.

"Hey buddy! do you smell fish?" ask the guy.

Agler fell silent, slowly smelling his own clothes and realizing the smell was coming from him.
