The night in Nio's dormitory was filled with awkwardness between this brother and sister. Even now Nio did not dare to look at Arunika at dinner.

The cause was a ‘sanction’ statement from Herlina that said Nio had to take training to become a Special Student Force.

“Hey, why is your face so moody?” asked Arunika who had seen Nio always looking down and silent.

Because previously Nio and Arunika always joked and told each other comfortably.

In a weak tone Nio said, “Kakak, after this there is something I want to talk to you about.”

Arunika frowned and felt that what Nio said later was really a serious thing. But seriously on Nio must be accompanied by a moody face or can be interpreted like that.

The two of them continued to have dinner until the time for serious talks between them.

“So, what do you want to talk about?” said Arunika who sat in front of Nio like she was ‘together’.

Nio still avoided looking at Arunika and sat down cross-legged while playing his finger.

Without any nervousness or anything like that Nio said even with a flat expression, “Turns the point, I was ordered to take the Special Student Forces training. I don't know where the training is either. Since this is the sanction that Herlina gave me, I ask for your approval on behalf of the family.”

“Pe-training into special forces?” arunika asked with a surprised expression that was completely hidden.

“Yes. Even though I have to break ‘promise it’ ,” replied Nio.

Because if Nio really took training to become a PPK, he was forced to break the promise to stay with Arunika until the time ‘itu’ arrived. Although 6 months is quite a long time, but it must be reduced by the training period to PPK for 4 months. That if Nio allowed Arunika to do training, if not allowed they both can still pass the ‘janji’ that Arunika made with Nio.

This time Arunika who did not stare at Nio's face, before if the two of them spoke Arunika always looked towards Nio's eyes.

Even Arunika did not dare to turn her head to just look at Nio's expression now.

His body trembled because he knew that training to become a special force was very heavy and draining of energy and mind.

Arunika opened her lips slightly trembling and said, “A-do you promise not to laze while doing training?”

“Did brother let me take training?” ask Nio.

Nio did not sparkle at all when her brother asked like that. Because it does not mean that if Arunika asks like that she will take training.

“If you promise with the question I will give, I will consider,” said Arunika seriously.

“Well, I will answer one by one your questions,” replied Nio.

“Are you not going to laze?”

“No.”

“Are you ready to carry out all the training you will receive?”

“I'm ready.”

“Did you promise to get a perfect score on the general knowledge test?”

“I promise.”

“Can you get a score of 76 on the math exam?”

“I'm si---, wait a minute. Is it in the general exam there are math subjects?” asked Nio with a surprised face.

Nio's surprised face was able to make Arunika slightly smile despite being covered with her hands.

After that Nio covered his face with both palms and rubbed it because he knew there was a math lesson on the test of general knowledge.

“Don't say there's physics and chemistry too?” asked Nio worriedly.

“There is,” replied Arunika casually because she likes Nio's reaction when hearing lessons related to numbers and counts.

Because Arunika also likes the expression of Nio when dealing with the three lessons. Because Nio would definitely complain of overwhelming dizziness when faced with those three lessons.

Nio put his forehead on the table hard for giving up the test of general knowledge. What else with the presence of the three subjects that he really hated it.

Except in those three subjects, Nio would definitely get a perfect score. That's what surprised Arunika.

Nio then got up and asked Arunika, “Then, that means you let me take the training?”

Arunika was seen trying to smile even though impressed ‘forced’ and said, “Ya, as long as you can promise and be responsible.”

After that Arunika shifted and got closer to Nio. Of course Nio was surprised when her brother stuck to her.

Nio could only enjoy and lean in with her brother. Now they both lean on each other's shoulders.

When viewed from what they did, anyone who first saw this matter would assume they were both not brother and sister.

Nervously because her brother used a spoiled tone Nio replied, “A-what?”

Arunika next said nothing more as if she was just trying to tease Nio alone.

Then Arunika placed her head on Nio's shoulder which made her instantly shocked and goosebumps.

In his heart and in a happy tone Nio said, “I hope that training never existed.”

Nio slowly opened his eyes and was forced to part with his beautiful dream.

The thing Nio did was to look around his dorm and find one thing that was extremely rare.

Nio slept downstairs with Arunika by his side. They were both on the same blanket.

Nio with a flat gaze looked at his older brother who was still in his dream realm with a smiling face.

“What did he dream of?” mummy Nio.

He then stepped out of his sleeping place and immediately prepared himself to practice immediately.

“Do you have to be that fast to leave your brother alone?” asked Arunika in her potent tone again.

“Stop brother, you gave me goosebumps,” Nio said with a really goosebumps body.

“That's bad for you,” said Arunika with annoyance.

Nio just smiled obliquely and did the thing that made Arunika surprised as well as happy.

“I go first huh kak?” nio said after pinching Arunika's cheek.

He just ran away leaving Arunika who was still standing in front of the door with a blank look.

Then Arunika closed the door saying, “I want to feel that again. hurry home Nio...”.

Turning to Nio who tried hard to run to a place in the sticky list of names that Herlina pasted yesterday, namely on the notice board.

But in front of the notice board there were many soldiers from all over the squad scrambling to put their names on the rosters.

In addition to the full name, they should write down the purpose of joining the Special Student Forces.

Nio then waited until the crowd was quiet in the reserved seats.

“Commander, why are you here. Aren't you going to join PPK?” asked Arista who suddenly appeared and stopped in front of Nio.

“Of course I'll join. But the crowd was blocking me,” replied Nio.

Arista then sat in the same chair as Nio by putting some distance between them. Because Arista was still aware that Nio was the commander of his squad. Very contrary to Nio who can talk casually with Herlina who is the Captain and Commander of Company 406.

With a flat face, Arista looked at the crowd that was getting more and more crowded as training time approached.

A moment later Herlina suddenly appeared and sat down between Nio and Arista.

“How, did you get permission?” asked Herlina hoping for a happy answer from Nio.

“Iya, I get permission,” replied Nio briefly.

That way Herlina managed to get Nio to join the Special Student Forces even though in a way that could be said to be sneaky.

“Ah, it's deserted. Quickly write your name on the list of names!” herlina orders by pushing Nio.

“Yes yes,” replied Nio annoyed.

Nio walked to the notice board with Arista walking also behind him.

Nio flipped the sheet and wrote his name on the second sheet of the name list in column number 29. Not forgetting he thought about the purpose of joining the KDP.

But he could not linger because Arista and a few others waited for their turn to write their names on the list.

“Bodo is very,” said Nio and wrote his goal.

Nio's goal in joining PPK was to protect his family, which he also wrote on the roster.

Nio then left the notice board and headed towards the training ground leaving Arista.

Arista wrote his name under the name Nio, as well as he read the purpose of Nio joining PPK.

With a sad face after reading Nio's goal he said, “His brain still has family.”
