All ‘they’ wants is pride and honor, by sacrificing others to get it.

A mixed cavalry and infantry unit as large as the Peacekeeping Company stationed in one of the Black Zones in the Yekirnovo Kingdom was in disarray, nearly destroyed.
“Company commander to all warriors .. or everyone who heard this request...!”
The unit commander held his communications radio and trembled as he spoke, with a severed subordinate beside him. Even so, he managed to avenge the death of his subordinates by shooting dead an Alliance soldier with an anti-material rifle that was supposed to be used to kill the main battle tank.
The Alliances cavalry troops were armed with SP-1 rifles, plus infantry fighting using 5-meter long spears and ordinary swords, with a total force of 80,000 soldiers destroyed the post which was fought by the joint Peace Forces company. The aid from Yekirnovo is sure to arrive very slowly, so they hope that the Central Headquarters will deploy rescue forces.
Help from the center was the only hope if they still wanted to fight.
Bunkers of machine guns and infantry combat weapons, as well as light tanks, were brutally destroyed by enemy monsters and infantry fighting crazily. It was a terrible surprise. The company commander dragged the body of his dying subordinate, and laid him behind a stone. He peeked out from behind the stone of the brutal fight that the enemy was fighting.
Leaning against the rock with his dying subordinates, the company commander tried to keep his eyes open in agony. Shouted subordinates, and the slain subordinates had to be watched with full awareness by him. The flowing and pooling blood creates a dark red color, which even remains visible in dark and dark nights. The enemy roasted using a flamethrower weapon created a foul scent, and a horrifying sight of the charred bodies of the enemy soldiers burning.
“This is the commander of the joint garrison company Yekirnovo 3, please provide an answer!”
Most of the soldiers were killed in battle now, he did not know whether his communication radio channel was received by soldiers or other units that were close to the battlefield. The company he led was completely destroyed, in the hands of enemies who were still using primitive tactics and weapons.
An increasingly powerful alliance is no lie, and their leader boasted that an infantry company would be able to take control of an enemy fortress within five minutes. The post that was being fought by a joint company was suddenly invaded by enemy forces with a strength far greater than theirs. Despite being equipped with lethal modern weapons, small units like them have no chance. The soldiers were obliged to continue fighting even though behind them was not a homeland or a family. The low fighting spirit kept them fighting despite ending up as corpses.
“Hah... ends already..”.
The company commander from the Indonesian contingent turned off his radio communication channel and threw out his helmet. He took out a smartphone-sized remote controller with his badly injured right hand.
He saw a large troop of horsemen moving quickly towards the post his unit was fighting for. Unmistakably, the enemy troops that attacked his troops were not his true strength, the heavy cavalry of the enemy on the move was the main force of the enemy.
As the company commander grinned about preparing to commit suicide using explosives embedded in the underground post, a soldier dashed past him without the use of a combat helmet, so he could see some of the soldiers' faces wrapped in bandages.
The roaring sound of assault helicopters and fighting vehicles rang out, but it had yet to release the company commander from despair. With an army numbering in the hundreds of thousands, a force of two or three companies could be destroyed once attacked.
However, after seeing the small flag tied to the radio transmission antenna of one of the soldiers who had just arrived, the company commander instantly realized who was his rescue force.

Despite the fact that his physique had now changed drastically, yet his obligations as a war soldier were never completed. At least that was what Nio believed, and he was now on his way to Girinhi Fortress. His physical and mental health had yet to fully recover, but the superiors gave him the order.
Passengers of transport helicopter totaling 20 soldiers – sent as additional troops for the Relief Company 002 – staring fearfully Nio. Part of his face covered with bandages makes them curious about the wound behind it, although it is certain they will immediately goosebumps if they see it.
The escorting transport helicopters are three assault helicopters. The transport helicopter that Nio was riding carried a 230mm howitzer by hanging, complete with some ammunition.
A large hologram screen set for directional purposes is turned on inside the helicopter cabin, illuminating the dimly lit cabin. When the other third contingent soldier calmly saw a number of dots were in a garrison outside the Arevelk Kingdom, Nio looked at him with a sharp left eye.
Nio felt a sense of horror in the place, although the actual number of enemies attacking could not be ascertained.
“What is it? An army ready to be slaughtered? Steady.”
An Indonesian contingent soldier said that calmly and steadily, and was responded to by his friends with a confident face as well.
Nio actually wanted to reprimand a corporal of the two TNI, but the disgusted look that previously twenty additional soldiers aimed at him made him undo the intention of doing so. Nio felt they considered himself a weak officer, who could do nothing but become a burden in the fight due to the injuries he suffered.
Since there was nothing else he did but polish his finished rifle, Nio now turned to the sword given by one of the Alliance's Heroes.
As Nio was about to retrieve the sword and its sheath from the transport vest, the helicopter aviator noticed a problem that began with the radars of heat-seekers flashing many times.
“Infrared emission is visible on the radar, which comes from ten objects,” said the helicopter aviator over a loudspeaker heard in the cabin.
Ten wild Wyverns with a wingspan of 5 meters are visible. Three attack helicopters perform arrow-shaped formations to protect transport helicopters.
The aviators and the assistants of the three attack helicopters did not want to shoot Wyvern immediately without a handler, or they would be sanctioned for killing a rare animal for no apparent reason. They will attack if dozens of flying lizards show a threat that endangers all soldiers.
“Helicopter One to Helicopter Two and Three, objects fly at a distance of 100 meters .. 90 meters.. they fly quite slowly.”
“Accepted. We will be prepared if the object shows a threat.”
“Accepted. Prepare weapons!”
Wyverns fly faster than dragons because of their slimmer and smaller bodies, and are both carnivorous animals that hunt animals on land and air. When Wyverns see a large bird in the air, they hunt it, or in rare cases they form a group as a flock to hunt a dragon cub.
The sounding helicopter and the heat radiance made ten Wyverns fly towards their target, led by a rather large Wyvern of nine other flying lizards.
The movement of detected but unknown objects of actual existence alarming makes the aviators of attack and transport helicopters restless, and must prepare weapons.
Wyvern-Wyvern is getting closer, until now the shape of the object in question is clearly visible. However, the aviators saw something was wrong with the Wyvern flock. Because during the war, they always saw Wyvern and the dragon ridden one to two warriors.
“Ten Wyvern confirmed! But, they were not accompanied by warriors riding!”
“They keep getting closer, do we have to kill those wild flying lizards if we have to?”
Like a bird destroyed by a civilian passenger jet engine causing damage and endangering a flight, Wyvern can be assured of causing much more severe impact.
The jaws of the Wyverns open, revealing their sharp fangs that serve to intimidate the opponent or prey. The front-facing attack helicopter flyer tilts the control stick down, to avoid the large Wyvern that wants to pounce on his helicopter.
However, the Wyvern flew straight towards the transport helicopter, making the pilot and aviator try to avoid a collision. The two tilted the control baton, and the transport helicopter flew to the left side in an extreme tilt.
Recently, troops received special ammunition to deal with dangerous wild animals. A special bullet that would only paralyze a target rather than kill it. However, ordinary ammunition with or without explosives is still used to kill enemy war animals.
The officers in the other world did not want their deeds to make the local animal population dwindle due to the deadly weapons that were supposed to be used to cripple the fighting vehicles.
“Helicopter 1 to the whole helicopter, all flying lizards look very clear.”
Helicopter aviator assistant 2 replied, “Accepted, start stacking formation.”
The three attack helicopters began to set up formations to protect the transport helicopters from attack. The third position of the attack helicopter stacking as if they are fighting is an attack helicopter belonging to the enemy instead of a fantasy beast.
“Type of wild Wyvern is different from combat Wyvern, they are proficient in aerial combat. They should not attack directly after the opponent will face a larger size.”
“Lettan Nio, what do you mean?”
The first lieutenant of the helicopter aviator asked Nio after hearing his words from the communication radio. The commander of the 12th Team only said what he observed in this world, especially what he thought was useful in the situation as it is now.
The gazes of the soldiers in the cabin had not changed, Nio felt they were disgusted at his current condition even though he did not remove the bandages wrapped around his body. Even after he said that, they doubted him.
“Wyvern fighters are trained for the desired fight of the handler, so the fight they do is limited to the whims of the handler. Wyvern wildly fights according to natural instincts, making it difficult to guess.”
Most of the soldiers chuckled doubtfully, but a small portion put on a face convinced that what Nio said was true, including the pilot of all four helicopters.
“Do we need to fire on Wyverns with cannons or rockets?” ask the 3rd attack helicopter pilot who chased 3 wild Wyverns.
“You've got the guts of killing flying lizards with rockets and cannons. But, do not grumble if your efforts are not as expected.”
The pilot and the assistant of the three attack helicopters felt a mockery at Nio's words, so they only smiled wryly. However, the calmness of their radio transmissions with Nio's makes the iron dragonfly riders have to rack their brains to find another way to avoid the ten threatening wild Wyverns.
“Assistant Airmen Helicopter 2 to First Lieutenant Nio. According to your words, the wild Wyverns have better reflexes than the combat Wyverns because no one controls?” second lieutenant a.s.sistant aviator helicopter 2 asked.
Nio smiled as he replied “Ya”, but some of the soldiers in the transport helicopter cabin thought that it was a smile of mental disorders.
That said if Wyvern was a fantasy beast that could be killed with a single shot, it seemed like it had to look directly at this world. Three wild Wyverns flew around the TNI Army Aviation's number 2 attack helicopter, as if observing the characteristics of the iron dragonfly.
Helicopter pilot number two muttered with a restless face, “What do flying lizards do?”
Wyverns with handlers have been very troublesome, but they are now dealing with wild Wyverns who Nio thinks are fiercer than military Wyverns.
“Dodging!” the assistant helicopter number 2 shouted as he saw a wild Wyvern fly over, startling his companion who suddenly tilted the control stick to the right, and making the helicopter fly very tilted and damaging the formation.
The three Wyverns who had previously only flown around the number 2 attack helicopter, now immediately flew in pursuit. However, it is difficult for a flying lizard capable of traveling at speeds of 100 kilometers per hour against an iron dragonfly that can fly at speeds of 800 kilometers per hour.
“Awas!” the North Korean contingent's number 1 helicopter pilot shouted at his radio transmissions with the number 2 helicopter pilot.
As the three Wyverns chased after the number 2 helicopter, a larger Wyvern suddenly appeared behind the helicopter. The mouth full of sharp canine teeth opened, ready to devour the tail propeller. If the flying lizard manages to destroy the helicopter's tail propeller, it will be fatal.
The large Wyvern head was instantly split in two, and blood and flesh descended to the ground like rain. Even so, he managed to disrupt the stability of the helicopter flight.
Fortunately, the two main propellers, or referred to as coaxial propellers, improved the position of the helicopter that had previously rotated wildly in the air.
The entire helicopter operator breathed a sigh of relief after the number 2 attack helicopter survived, although the tail propeller was destroyed and killed Wyvern the largest.
Meanwhile, a Wyvern flew on the spot staring at the number 3 attack helicopter piloted by the Russian contingent's aviators. His eyes were staring intently at the iron dragonfly as if to say, “Then I will destroy you!”
Thanks to the small air resistance when flying down, the Wyvern sped faster when flying flat.
The helicopter he was targeting was flying towards him at high speed. The assistant of the number 3 attack helicopter wielded an automatic cannon control stick, and aimed automatically through his helmet.
However, the pilot of the number 3 attack helicopter suddenly changed position before the muzzle of the helicopter hit Wyvern head. That caused the Wyvern's wings to shred, and the main propeller split Wyvern's body in two. His blood spurted into the air like detergent foam.
The remaining Wyverns flew in an elaborate besieging pattern, and confused the entire helicopter operator. Nio saw this from the cockpit of the helicopter-transport aviator, and surprised both operators.
“Lettu, there is a message from attack helicopter number 2 for you,” Letda aviator assistant gives handsfree communication to Nio.
After putting handsfree into his left ear, Nio said, “Here Lieutenant Nio. What's the problem?”
Second lieutenant aviator assistant attack helicopter number 2 answer call Nio, “Siap! I thought, we can't hit them directly! We may have to attack the Wyverns from the side, top, or bottom!”
After hearing the words of the more experienced soldier in dogfight facing the fantasy flying lizard, Nio agreed to the suggestion after estimating if the suggestion would work if tried first.
Dogfights involving attack helicopters and Wyverns are more like cats chasing lizards .
(olog note: dogfight is tantamount to battle in the air. Examples include fighter jets against fighter jets, or helicopters against helicopters, or fighter jets against drones)
The 20mm automatic cannon with the drugged bullet had yet to kill a single remaining wild Wyvern.
Helicopters are capable of flying stunts that fixed-wing aircraft cannot. Flying up and down, suddenly turning in place, and then shooting at the target with a 20mm caliber automatic cannon with a paralyzed bullet could only be done by a swivel-winged aircraft. The helicopter's engine roared and the propeller slashed through the air, then forcefully escaped Wyvern's pursuit and intercepted them to launch an attack.
However, as Nio had predicted. The wild Wyverns had dodging reflexes that were much more formidable than the military Wyverns. They cannot be defeated easily.
After evading the barrage of cannon projectiles that would leave them paralyzed for several hours, the remaining Wyverns floated in midair, and their respective wings flapped to stabilize the position.
Wild Wyverns utilize their flexible bodies and tails, changing their flight direction and angle of attack unexpectedly and skillfully avoiding automatic cannon attacks from attack helicopters.
One of the Wyverns flew towards the number 3 attack helicopter, spun evading the hail of bullets like a circus performer, and then several cannon projectiles penetrated his body through the upper abdomen. Because it contains ingredients that double as a lubricant and healer, the shooter on the attack helicopter does not need to feel guilty because the target will be aware in a few hours.
The crippled Wyvern hit the ground gently after being slowed down by the trees.
All the victims must have weaknesses. Wyverns would not get prey without anyone initiating an attack. On the other hand, Wyverns were not brave animals like honey badgers. If alone, Wyvern will avoid larger prey. Wyvern's remaining herd of 6 tails still makes them confident of getting their target's iron dragonfly.
As there were still more than three strange iron dragonflies, the Wyverns let out screeches and flew towards the attack helicopter. Just then, the automatic cannon barrel greeted them with a shot. However, not all projectiles hit the target.
One of the Wyverns managed to obtain one projectile that pierced through his thick scales. However, it did not leave him paralyzed and then fainted. The Wyvern could still fly and stared furiously at the iron dragonfly that attacked him.
Seeing the injured Wyvern flying towards him, the number 3 attack helicopter aviator pulled the control stick too tips to dodge. The helicopter lost its balance, and the main propeller destroyed Wyvern's head.
Looking at the prey strength that exceeded estimates, the Wyverns wildly flew in place in bewilderment. There were only three iron dragonflies, yet their strength was on par with a dragon.
The surviving Wyvern flew away from the failed iron dragonfly to fall prey, leaving the six attack helicopter operators cheering in excitement.
“Lettu Nio, your words turned out to be in accordance with reality. Looks like the enemy Wyvern rider squad is nothing more than a wild Wyvern,” said assistant aviator attack helicopter number 2.
“How lucky we are, perhaps without direction from Lieutenant Nio, this fight will be long running!” connect the number 1 helicopter pilot.
Nio – who is still holding back the pain in his body – heaved a sigh of relief. Lucky, because the Wyvern that was fought earlier did not have the ability to spurt fire.
“Better we prepare ourselves for battle later,” he said
Four iron dragonflies flew towards Girinhi Fortress at medium speed after making sure there was no more threat.

“Lieutenant Nio?”
Eleven pairs of eyes stared at Nio who had just descended from the transport helicopter. The gazes they gave showed confused, scared, and surprised expressions of what happened to Nio, not what made Nio late to return to this fortress of Arevelk.
The most glaring difference in gaze came from his Zefanya, and he instantly ran at a shocking speed. When Zefanya ran towards Nio, the other 12th Team members immediately followed, leaving the other personnel confused.
Nio looked at Zefanya who was running with the rest of the team at an alarming speed.
“Neans Nioooooooooooooooo!” zefanya shouted, making Nio take a few steps back and then run to get away from his subordinates.
“You cannot run, Lieutenant Nio!”
“Everyone, catch him! No matter the circumstances, our lieutenant is extremely strong!”
“You should have greeted us after half a month of not meeting!”
The screams of the 12th Team members chasing after Nio within the vast area of Girinhi Fortress made the people make it a free show. Although concerning, but Nio who was injured was being chased by his subordinates was quite entertaining.
‘Parkour’, aka Herman ran on the roof of the Arevelk warrior barracks with agility, and jumped one roof to another roof to precede Nio's fast run. Nio smiled looking at the members who were trying to catch him in various ways.
This time Nio was about to reach the main gate of the fort, but Herman had been waiting for him there. The man stood with his hands crossed in front of his chest, looking at Nio with a mocking smile.
Due to the carelessness of Nio who stopped for a moment just because his exit was blocked by Herman, all members of Team 12 managed to surround Nio. Each member was very capable in their respective fields, and Nio's instincts said that they were very threatening. Nio felt they were quite ruthless, making him run with the body in a still injured condition.
Zefanya looked at Nio's body which was like her, wrapped around a bandage on half of her body. Half of Nio's face was covered in a white cloth, though it showed slight burns, and it looked severe and painful. Zefanya could imagine what Nio felt, because he had experienced the same thing when his country was still at war with the enemies of this world.
Even a young warrior who went through many heavy battles would not bear the wounds he got. The lack of support from the closest people, plus the pressure of duty from the superiors, made Nio feel his body better to ashes back then.
However, life and death were what the soldiers wanted. Being surrounded by highly trusted peers rather than being forced to trust the government that the people of ‘sakit’ were tearing up, created a special feeling in Nio's mind.
“12th Team Leader, I take over again. Thank you for the replacement commander for his work,” he said.
Of course Hassan smiled arrogantly after hearing the remark from Nio.
The entire 12th Team now knew that Nio was still in pain, but their determination was unanimous, giving their commander a welcome greeting.
