56. Rice rendang and good relations

Until this afternoon, the operation to seize territory controlled by other world forces is still being pursued by TNI forces of various Units.

Ivy and Sigiz then approach Nio, while Ilhiya is still toying with the cat he found in his tent.

“Wyvern is smaller than a dragon, and they only have two legs. The dragon is larger and has four legs. The dragon belonging to Queen Sigiz is still small, that makes it look almost the same as the wyvern belonging to our troops,” explained Ivy who was met with a nod Nio who looks to be recording something.

Then Ivy continued his explanation, “Then for his food, wyverns and dragons have the same appetite. If you use the term world, they are carnivorous animals. But one meal wyvern and dragon can not eat for one month.”

After he finished taking down Ivy's explanation, Nio kept another small notebook in his vest pouch.

After returning from a nearby river to clean up, the team then distributed the rations to the rest of the members. Including the Sigiz team who also got the rendang rice ration.

Arista approved Nio's words while nodding.

With a gloomy face, Sigiz saved the money again. He then summoned some of his soldiers to receive the food that Nio and Arista had brought.

The three warriors then came quickly, but with suspicious faces received the two boxes that Nio and Arista had brought.

“It seems they look suspicious of us, Commander,” said Arista approved by Nio.

Ivy calls Ilhiya who is still playing with her cat to eat together. Carrying the cat in his arms, Ilhiya dined with Ivy and Sigiz after getting rations from the team's troops in charge of overseeing their troops.

But Arista did not dare to say like Nio, because no one knew what was going to happen in the future.

The three of them then just looked at the green ration wrap and there was Indonesian writing.

Arista then realized something, that is, they did not understand how to open the wrapper that protects the food inside.

Arista then asked for back the ration wrap Ilhiya held, then ripped off the plastic edge.

When removed, there is still a lot of silver-colored plastic that wraps food inside. Using a folding plate contained in the ration wrap, Arista opened one by one the package that issued rice and chicken rendang.

“If you want warmed, just boiled in hot water for a while,” said Arista who was then translated by Ivy so Sigiz understood.

Sigiz then said the same words as Arista, but with the language of the kingdom of Arevelk to his army.

His troops then put the ration wrap into a large pot that was filled with hot water.

Nio and Arista only smiled wryly at the behavior of Sigiz's otherworldly forces.

All the team members led by Nio then approached the Sigiz army camp, of course, while carrying their own food. There were 30 of them, including Nio and Arista.

“It looks like you have made a good relationship with one of the otherworldly forces,” Rio said while sitting next to Nio.

“That is my goal, so that this war will quickly end,” replied Nio while removing one by one a pack that protects rice and rendang and other companion foods and drinks.

Sigiz appealed to his troops to immediately lift the rations that had been boiled a little longer than the time they should have been.

After that, one by one the soldiers of the kingdom of Arevelk received a pack of rations that were complete with food and drinks companion.

In order to convince Sigiz and his troops if the food being distributed was safe, Nio and his army ate it first. Sigiz imitated the way Nio ate, then stuffed rice and a piece of shredded meat into his mouth.

The voice of the person who was feeling good about the food they ate was heard, it was from Sigiz's team and the three women.

“What kind of food is this?, why is it so delicious?” Ivy asked while putting in some more food bribes.

“This is rendang rice and chicken rice,” Nio replied as she fed herself patiently. Unlike the Sigiz troops who ate in a hurry so good the food they received.

After the meal, there was something else that was almost forgotten. That is a companion drink that is still wrapped in silver plastic.

In the silver plastic there is coffee powder and other types of drinks that are favored by the people of Indonesia. If you are lucky, soldiers can get a powder drink with ginger powder.

Sigiz and his troops had already gathered together with their supervisory team. There was no suspicion from the two armies.

Nio and team members did a tutorial on brewing powdered drinks so Sigiz and his team could replicate.

Powdered drinks are poured into the glasses of each soldier, then brewed with warm water or cold water for those who get orange-flavored powder drinks.

Sigiz's men then did the same, but they used slightly larger wooden glasses.

Finished doing the same as the Nio troops did, the Sigiz troops tried out the little drink they had already made. After which, they quickly gulped down the drinks in their respective glasses with a tasteful face that they had not tasted before.

Laughter was heard from the otherworldly troops who had finished drinking the powder drink.

The words they spoke were not understood by the supervisory team, but the team was also seen laughing with Sigiz's men.

In essence, the Arevelk royal army Sigiz had brought had felt things they had not felt before.

Seeing the two troops who were seen laughing freely together, Nio already felt confident that he had started a good relationship with the other world.
