46. Last day of the mission and Ivy's upset

June 7, 2321, at 09.33 WIB.

"Commander, permission to enter" Sima said from outside the command vehicle guarded by two soldiers.

"Yes, come in" replied Nio who was pausing from his speech.

Sima enters the command truck, he is seen carrying something like brown paper and rolled up. When viewed from the length of the rolled paper, it looks like the paper is quite wide.

Only Sima knows the contents of the paper and he wants Nio to find out what he found after the attack two days ago.

"What are you carrying?" nio asked after checking the terrain map that was on his desk.

"Look at this..," Sima said as she opened the paper she had carefully rolled up since she found it on Nio's desk.

The soldiers in the command vehicle also looked curious, but they were unable to leave the job to satisfy the curiosity. They had to keep control of the drone in order to get a map of the terrain of the village that was the last region to be mapped.

Nio looked at the picture on the paper with a serious face, Sima too while holding the paper back from rolling back.

"From the kingpin, this is a map, right, commander...?" ask Sima to Nio.

"Yes, it looks like this is a map of the enemy country," Nio replied as he slightly placed his fingertips on the paper

The paper does not look like ordinary paper as it is often used, a kind of HVS paper. Paper made in another world feels very coarse and light brown and can still be seen in patterns like tree bark fibers.

Sima then took out an object as well and showed Nio, "And this, it looks like this is the flag of the enemy country. Or maybe the enemy's war flag?"

Outside the command car, soldiers were still standing guard around the encampment built by the Topographic Unit Squad.

There was an additional camp used for young women who were rescued two days ago.

The field kitchen team is also seen still preparing breakfast for everyone at this campground.

Sima and Nio then arrive at the tactical car used for the attack two days ago.

Two soldiers were still asleep at the wheel. They ease up then realize the arrival of Nio and Sima and run in panic instantly.

Nio and Sima just laughed a little, but they both did not intend to wake the soldiers who had tried hard to save the young women from the enemy.

Sima then walks towards the trunk of the tactical car and shows the contents to Nio.

"Treasure pati...!" nio exclaimed which made Sima smile on her side.

"You seem to read mostly comics, commander," Sima said with an annoying face according to Nio.

"Yes, I need comics and novels to improve my fantasy."

Sima was unable to answer Nio's words and chose to take the box down from the trunk of the car.

Nio held onto the part of the box that looked like its padlock.

"It's locked, do we have a grinder?" muttered Nio who was curious about the box before him.

Nio tried hard to find another way to open the box so as not to damage the objects inside.

"!!!" Nio and Sima were shocked when they heard a loud explosive sound from near the two of them.

The two of them looked back to see who the soldier who had suddenly opened fire on.

Nio and Sima show flat faces when they discover that the soldier who opened fire is Tania.

"Luckily I'm not one to be easily startled," inner Sima and Nio.

Nio approached Tania with a face that frightened her.

"Aw, a-campoon. Sa-sakit Nio..," moaned Tania whose head with hair tied in a pony tail style snatched Nio hard.

Without caring about Tania who looks to hold a grudge against him, Nio returns to the box with a padlock that was destroyed by a bullet released from Tania's gun.

Sima had opened the box and showed its contents in the form of coins that seemed to number in the hundreds. The coins looked shiny even though the sunlight that entered the camp was not too much.

There were a lot of gold and silvery colored coins in the box. Nio and Sima's eyes instantly shone just as brightly as those coins. While Tania looked unconcerned and still stroked her head.

"Can we take the commander...?" sima said while taking out one gold-colored coin.

"No, we should take this to the underground city after the mission is completed," replied Nio who took another coin that Sima held.

However, actually Nio also wanted to take the gold coins. But he tried to refrain from being tempted, then closed the box back and took it to a command vehicle.

Sima with a disappointed face walked behind Nio and returned to the command vehicle.

"Didn't you want a rich commander? The coins look expensive if sold loh.." incited Sima.

"I don't care. If it's the same fate, you'll probably get a share of those gold and silver coins."

After breakfast, the camp of the Topographic Unit Squad was visited by many residents because of the incident two days ago.

Nio and Herlina got out of the command vehicle after seeing the thing that would make the mission to capture the Mojogedang subdistrict area will be smooth.

"Continue this mission until it's over. And.., happy birthday Nio," said Herlina while taking her eyes off Nio as she said the last sentence.

"Yes, thank you," answered Nio who was actually confused by Herlina's behavior.

"Is Nio here?" Ivy asked IIlhiya

The two of them were near the camp of the Topographic Unit Squad. Of course no one could see them, except Nio.

"Yes. That's the person," replied IIlhiya while pointing her index finger towards Nio who was walking.

Ivy's eyebrows suddenly dropped sharply when she saw Nio walking with Herlina with a smile.

"Who is that woman" said Ivy who looked very upset.

"Hmmmm..., are you interested in her?" it was God IIlhiya who made Ivy surprised and unable to answer him.
