Nio has received reports that the patrol and reconnaissance squads of the TNI Navy fleet saw hundreds of enemy warships as large as 200 meters armed with hundreds of cannons and giant catapults. The opposing warship fleet was sailing towards the Gulf of the Horn, which posed a real threat to the sailors of the TNI Navy, in particular amateur sailors.

Giving such a task to the 12th Team and the Silent Assassins as if they were very experienced in handling the Alliance's regular troops. “Understood,” answered all his subordinates simultaneously.

“According to information, the Alliance's infantry and cavalrymen have been equipped with 5.56mm to 7.62mm caliber long guns, they also have combat magicians. Our mission remains to do battle and reduce the threat to the AL TNI fleet, but our priority is to do reconnaissance,” continued Nio.

Although the ‘bat’ command is still carried out if the enemy opens fire first, they are only ordered to carry out infiltration and secret reconnaissance to find the main position of the enemy in the Kingdom of Salodki.

Nio said, “Everyone gathers again in front of the command tent in half an hour. Any questions?”

Nio was the only member of the 12th Team who was not wearing a helmet that covered the entire head like his comrades. Meanwhile, members of the Silent Killer jumped up and down on tree branches while watching from above, aided by Hevaz who had the ability to fly so that troops could be said to have additional eyes flying.

Although they were moving in a dense area of coastal forest, Nio was confident in his subordinates' ability to move in formation. However, a thin fog may bother them, with the possibility of each other still present. Nio does not allow any directionless and hopeless members in his unit, which can cause the entire squad to go astray.

The Battlefield Management System device on Hassan's combat helmet received a message from the Deck Department of the helicopter carrier, aka the flag ship of the TNI AL fleet in this world.

Nio was fed up with the Deck Department of flag ships which often asked trivial things whose answers could be seen in plain sight. At the very least, they did not send out a message that the enemy was initiating firing contact, so Nio and his troops could continue advancing.

“Weather report from the flag ship; it looks like heavy rain will not be long. The sailors will certainly not stand if it has to rain like us,” said Hassan.

Hassan then continued, “Additional, two reconnaissance helicopters have taken off for reconnaissance missions to another point far away from us.”

“That's better than just us being ordered to do a stakeout,” grumbled Nio.

At the very least, Team 12 and the Silent Killer had to be patient until they got something useful.

As it flew at an altitude of 20 meters above the ground, Hevaz could see an area of the sea with some lightning striking.

When his troops trembled, that was when attacks from various sides occurred.

In fact, the surprise attack that killed many of the Alliance's soldiers came from the 12th Team and the Quiet Killers who were in a panic. Their commander, Nio, racked his brain to keep his unit from separating and spared panic.

A battle with an enemy force as big as one battalion was indeed unexpected, but everyone managed to make the attack as a reflex.

“Don't split too far, keep each position! Prepare to perform a main attack and retreat!”

After making the decision in a split second for his troops to calm down, Nio slipped quickly to find every opponent soldier hiding. He was very experienced in fighting in various terrains, one of which was a dense misty forest. The entire 12th Team members could only take action according to training, and long habits and fighting experience for the Silent Killer.

Nio sneaked among the enemy rifle infantry, shot at every enemy soldier he encountered, and dodged the counterattack. The opponent's main attack came from the commander, the Hero of Regret. His ability to see clearly within his limitations, plus an unlimited supply of ammunition, made Gurion possess the most firepower in this battle. Fog and heavy rain still reduce visibility in very severe levels. Nio's hard-tone command was received by everyone, and began to realize that profits were with them. Enemies who launch counterattacks without direction are unexpected, because previously Team 12 and the Silent Assassins thought the enemy was very well trained and very familiar with the battlefield.

Mission is combat reconnaissance. Nio's army would fight all enemies if the situation forced them to do so, be it combat witches, machine guns, cannons, even the Alliance's air force. Even so, Nio hoped that his troops would not be involved in the battle even though everyone would have prepared themselves for the fight. As long as Nio was fighting alone, he wanted to lure some opponents towards him, while he hoped that his unit would handle the rest. He made some calculations in a short period of time, and decided to adjust some things. The bad habit of making decisions while the conflict is still going on cannot be eliminated.

Hevaz respond to Nio's command, “As per your command, Mr Nio!”

Although Nio unconsciously made himself as bait, he actually hated the task very much. Witches were a threat to his unit, so he put up a body to confront them. Perhaps the majority of his subordinates disliked his actions, precisely all of Nio's subordinates did not want to engage in an unbalanced battle in terms of the number of soldiers.

Being a brave commander on the front lines is a must. In war, the decision to defend or attack is determined by how afraid the commander is. Meanwhile, Nio was among the brave and cowardly, so he asked his troops to move slowly while attacking.

However, as curiosity had defeated Nio's fear, he chose to expose himself to the enemy. As a result, a number of enemy soldiers started shooting at him. However, it made the 12th Team and the Silent Killer know the opponent's position.

Most of the witches and cavalry of the enemy rifles chased after Nio who stayed away from the crossfire. However, one by one bullets from snipers pierced the heads of several pursuers, allowing Nio to fire back.

When Nio moved away from the enemy, he did not feel worried. Needless to say, Team 12 has a very reliable ‘impor’ sniper. The position of ‘Blue Eyes’ aka Zefanya higher and unaffordable from the battlefield makes it have a wider range.

Snipers are so dependable and heavily protected by opponents, yet hated by them. Snipers destroy morale even if they don't kill the target, sometimes they just hurt it. Why did the sniper not kill the target directly? Soldiers who screamed, groaned in pain to show a suffering face but still live were able to reduce the morale of their colleagues.

Infantry used to shoot at each other indiscriminately and discriminate. However, the sniper will shoot after determining the target to be sent to the afterlife, so that the target is chosen randomly and unexpectedly.

But, all of that is not important for snipers. The only important thing for the ‘istimu’ warrior is to finish the battle and return to the base to get the next command.

The Zefanya didn't even want to stop shooting even though she chose a careless hiding position and a depleted supply of bullets. Nio pointed the tip of his sword at his opponent's left back, and pushed it at full speed until it pierced through the chest. A sword or knife strike is said to have a more lethal impact than a standard assault rifle bullet.

He rolled his sword eyes, so the opposing commander cried out in pain. The man's body seemed to emit a red glow, but it dimmed and then disappeared completely after stopping roaring in pain.

“Oh, it looks like I failed to hit his heart,” Nio said

On the other hand, Gurion could not believe something piercing through his chest, and almost hit his heart. He frowned, then shouted as loud as possible due to the resulting pain.
