Nio has received reports that the patrol and reconnaissance squads of the TNI Navy fleet saw hundreds of enemy warships as large as 200 meters armed with hundreds of cannons and giant catapults. The opposing warship fleet was sailing towards the Gulf of the Horn, which posed a real threat to the sailors of the TNI Navy, in particular amateur sailors.

The TNI Navy fleet has been granted permission to drown and shoot down anything that threatens it. This is an advantage that creates great tension for the crew. The cadet students operating the Ki Hajar Dewantara Class training frigates had a great spirit once knew the Alliance's naval fleet was on its way as a real firing target for them.

It seemed, the cadets who wanted to fight immediately created a special problem for the instructors, giving the teachers a headache.

“Lettu Nio, the fleet of TNI Navy warships is preparing to intercept the Alliance ships. Their request for us is to support them by preventing an attack from the ground that endangers the fleet.”

Sergeant Hassan recounted what he heard from Nio after a meeting with the ship's commanders.

Inhibiting the infantry or light cavalry companies was not a problem for the 12th Team and the Silent Killer, but they would retreat if the opponents faced numbered 4 regiments combined with cavalry, infantry, and combat mages.

Giving such a task to the 12th Team and the Silent Assassins as if they were very experienced in handling the Alliance's regular troops. And, because all TNI fighters in the world are equally paid with different nominal – depending on the rank of – so Nio gladly accepted the advice to escort the TNI AL fleet from land.

“We will move southward, and wait for the enemy to come to the expected rendezvous point. Teams that have been divided will not change,” said Nio.

“Understood,” answered all his subordinates simultaneously.

“According to information, the Alliance's infantry and cavalrymen have been equipped with 5.56mm to 7.62mm caliber long guns, they also have combat magicians. Our mission remains to do battle and reduce the threat to the AL TNI fleet, but our priority is to do reconnaissance,” continued Nio.

Although the ‘bat’ command is still carried out if the enemy opens fire first, they are only ordered to carry out infiltration and secret reconnaissance to find the main position of the enemy in the Kingdom of Salodki.

Nio said, “Everyone gathers again in front of the command tent in half an hour. Any questions?”

Without asking any questions as usual, everyone ran into the tent, wearing their respective combat gear. They were subordinates who had become accustomed to war. They are still full of struggle.

Half an hour later, Team 12 and the Silent Killer moved south, away from the area of the Gulf of Horn beach defended by one of the Amphibious Battalion companies.

They move in a single unit, and will split up in case of battle.

The troops moved in the rain, causing the outer camera lenses on the helmets of each 12th Team member to get wet, blocking the current display on the holo screen inside the helmet which caused the visibility to decrease.

Nio was the only member of the 12th Team who was not wearing a helmet that covered the entire head like his comrades. Meanwhile, members of the Silent Killer jumped up and down on tree branches while watching from above, aided by Hevaz who had the ability to fly so that troops could be said to have additional eyes flying.

Although they were moving in a dense area of coastal forest, Nio was confident in his subordinates' ability to move in formation. However, a thin fog may bother them, with the possibility of each other still present. Nio does not allow any directionless and hopeless members in his unit, which can cause the entire squad to go astray.

The Battlefield Management System device on Hassan's combat helmet received a message from the Deck Department of the helicopter carrier, aka the flag ship of the TNI AL fleet in this world.

“Commander, they asked for our field report,” Hassan said.

“Let's just say we're raining. Ask them the weather report two hours ahead.”

Nio was fed up with the Deck Department of flag ships which often asked trivial things whose answers could be seen in plain sight. At the very least, they did not send out a message that the enemy was initiating firing contact, so Nio and his troops could continue advancing.

“Weather report from the flag ship; it looks like heavy rain will not be long. The sailors will certainly not stand if it has to rain like us,” said Hassan.

Hassan then continued, “Additional, two reconnaissance helicopters have taken off for reconnaissance missions to another point far away from us.”

“That's better than just us being ordered to do a stakeout,” grumbled Nio.

At the very least, Team 12 and the Silent Killer had to be patient until they got something useful.

As it flew at an altitude of 20 meters above the ground, Hevaz could see an area of the sea with some lightning striking.

A few lightning bolts that struck the sea created thunderous sounds. That was what Hevaz heard before the sound of a larger explosion could be heard. Not only him, everyone heard him.

“It Nio. Hevaz. What the hell are you looking at? Where did the explosion come from?” Nio spoke to Hevaz through Handsfree respectively.

Hevaz replied, “Allow me to observe it first, Mr. Nio.”

A few kilometers from the shore, the explosion and several quick-reaction cannon roars from the TNI Navy warship attracted the attention of the entire Nio force.

Explosions from below the surface, which may have come from deep charges or torpedoes, caused waves as high as two meters. The waves coming from the giant bubble from the explosion nearly knocked down the tents of the 12th Team, the Silent Killer, and the amphibious forces.

The next moment, Hevaz tried to open his eyes even though the rain hurt his eyes. What is seen is the reddened sea water, like the blood of victims of predatory fish attacks.

Underwater bombs are usually fired against submarines. As far as Nio knew, the Alliance did not even have the technology that would allow them to create a submarine, except for one of their Heroes who created it using its power.

Or maybe the Alliance managed to tame a sea monster as a weapon against surface ships?

The sailors cheered for successfully killing the Alliance's ‘live’ weapon that could potentially harm the fleet. If the targets they destroyed using underwater bombs and torpedoes were just ordinary giant sea beasts, the act would be a waste of budget to kill rare animals, the threat would be a suspension or pay a fine, pay is cut worse.

Large raw meat with red scaly skin floated on the surface of the sea, making sailors wonder what kind of giant animal was killed. Moments later, the head of a lizard-like beast appeared from within the sea, about a meter in size.

It opened Hevaz's eyes. All he saw was pieces of the Sea Dragon's body.

The sight was enough to make the sailors of TNI AL could not keep their mouths shut.

Sea Dragons are capable of growing up to 65 meters in length, or the same as light submarines. The main ability of the Sea Dragon is the same as the dragons in general, with the power able to burn down giant wooden ships.

A torpedo plus a few underwater bombs actually chopped up the body of the Sea Dragon. The sailors were astonished, yet at the same time they were amazed.

A slain dragon will not cause the dragon population in this world to go extinct, depending on how many missiles and torpedoes are fired for the sake of ‘defend yourself’ from the threat of the giant fantasy lizards. The eyes of the Sea Dragon that were still open were like gazing hatefully at the steel ships from the Otherworld that scoffed at its power, and easily killed itself using ‘iron eel’ (torpedo).

Hevaz stared flat at the helicopter carrier trying to lift the head of the Sea Dragon. With the existence of floating steel belonging to Indonesia, Envoy like himself believed the war would be very devastating.

Torpedoes that kill targets are launched for the first time in the world.

**

The three Sea Dragons they had just unleashed were believed to be capable of trembling the Guilds steel ship fleet. However, a Sea Dragon is killed very easily by the opponent, the rest in pursuit to be killed or kept away from the sea territory controlled by the Indonesian warship fleet.

To the Alliance, a single dead Sea Dragon was meaningless. That was because they could see the true capabilities of the Indonesian battleships that were moored just like floating steel.

The resulting explosion of weapons on an Indonesian warship left the Gurion-led battalion in confusion. Even the Hero of Regret's mind froze as he did not expect that the Indonesian troops would not hold back even on the threat of a giant sea lizard.

The rumbling engine of the Indonesian warship sent to chase the two Sea Dragons that survived seemed to be a scorn for him, and the Alliance that only had thousands of large warships out of wood.

Gurion himself did not want to die because of such a foolish failure, so he sent the Sea Dragon for the purpose of reducing the weapon assets of the fleet of warships of the Indonesian forces.

Although the actual delivery of three Sea Dragons only makes the TNI AL firing a torpedo and some deep charge only. As a result, Gurion was not satisfied with the result.

For Gurion to realize that the TNI really intends to fight against the Alliance to still consider this war unfair. If this war goes on with TNI opponents in 2022, then the Alliance does not suffer such heavy losses at this time and is still capable of great resistance. This war was going on at the wrong time and was at its worst for the Alliance forces.

“The fuckers, they have a powerful explosion magic turns out.”

Gurion's subordinates questioned the magic ‘leburge’ always used by Indonesian troops and their allies from the Other World in this war.

The mixed battalions led by Gurion were sent to repel the Indonesian forces that controlled the Gulf of Horn coast, and make their warships return to the base. But, the first attack did not come from them.

A dead commander with his head almost destroyed, apparently as a result of a low-explosive slash of bullets. However, the troops were unable to see the origin of the gunfire due to the fog covering the area. So Gurion considers the attack from the sniper squad ‘Hero Harapan’.

Gurion ordered his troops to rush to the coast to retake artillery and beaches. The dark coastal forest of fog and rain created a gripping atmosphere, but the threat from snipers added to the fear.

When his troops trembled, that was when attacks from various sides occurred.

Black shadows in tens jumped in all directions, then unleashed their respective weapons that created flashes. As a result of the flash of light from the black shadow weapon, a number of heads rolled, making the Alliance soldiers who saw it even more daunted.

The decapitation attack is not over. The flashes of light and the sound of gunfire occurred at the same time, making some of the Gurion soldiers fall under various conditions, but equally horrendous.

Some of the soldiers managed to escape by taking shelter behind trees or rocks, including Gurion. Those who do not have time to take refuge must die with a hollow head or body parts separated from each other.

Still, all Gurion could do to defend the Kingdom of Salodki was survive. Otherwise, the seeds of future victory and its provision to return to the homeland will die.

However, the enemy attacked from various sides, and was much faster than them. Although the Gurion-led Alliance forces understood the terrain much better, such enemy maneuvers were much more familiar to this battle arena, creating despair that exacerbated the directionless retaliatory fire from his subordinates.

In fact, the surprise attack that killed many of the Alliance's soldiers came from the 12th Team and the Quiet Killers who were in a panic. Their commander, Nio, racked his brain to keep his unit from separating and spared panic.

A battle with an enemy force as big as one battalion was indeed unexpected, but everyone managed to make the attack as a reflex.

“Don't split too far, keep each position! Prepare to perform a main attack and retreat!”

After making the decision in a split second for his troops to calm down, Nio slipped quickly to find every opponent soldier hiding. He was very experienced in fighting in various terrains, one of which was a dense misty forest. The reason is the function of the Special Student Forces as a support force for the TNI's special forces and major elites.

The entire 12th Team members could only take action according to training, and long habits and fighting experience for the Silent Killer.

Nio sneaked among the enemy rifle infantry, shot at every enemy soldier he encountered, and dodged the counterattack. Meanwhile, all his subordinates stormed over, killing all the opponents that were starting to go awry. This was a fight conducted based on the tactics that Nio shouted a few minutes ago. No one knew whether this battle resulted in victory on their side or the opponent, unless they tested it with their own blood and lives.

The opponent's main attack came from the commander, the Hero of Regret. His ability to see clearly within his limitations, plus an unlimited supply of ammunition, made Gurion possess the most firepower in this battle. Unfortunately, the magical energy in the coastal area of the Gulf of Horn is very weak, which makes Gurion unable to issue special abilities.

That way, this battle became ‘cukup’ balanced, although the Indonesian side was strengthened by the Messenger of Death and the God of War.

“For everyone, don't get together! Make sure you don't shoot or disturb your friends! Don't be distracted by fog, still distinguish friends and foes!”

Fog and heavy rain still reduce visibility in very severe levels. Nio's hard-tone command was received by everyone, and began to realize that profits were with them. Enemies who launch counterattacks without direction are unexpected, because previously Team 12 and the Silent Assassins thought the enemy was very well trained and very familiar with the battlefield.

Mission is combat reconnaissance. Nio's army would fight all enemies if the situation forced them to do so, be it combat witches, machine guns, cannons, even the Alliance's air force. Even so, Nio hoped that his troops would not be involved in the battle even though everyone would have prepared themselves for the fight. On the other hand, the ability to shoot opponents who are not as good as the Army of the Reserve Command or volunteer Indonesia gives them an advantage.

All of Nio's subordinates were talented fighters, and had an understanding of the situation. However, the new commander devised a strategy when the battle took place need to be questionable sane or crazy. Thus, they had the right to reprimand or grumble upon the impromptu orders of Nio.

“Weather is bad. Don't split too far, and don't forget we're in the woods! Opponents seem not too familiar with the terrain, maintain position! And as for the Silent Killer, fight as you please, but still pay attention to your safety and friends!”

“Master Nio! Counterattack of the opponent leads to us,” said Bamlag who jumped in all directions to avoid a barrage of fire from two Alliance soldiers.

“Group 1 will soon be in place of Group 2! Shit, I guess they still use swords or spears when fighting!” reply Hassan in a somewhat annoyed tone.

Nio allowed each group to act individually, including himself who fought alone against a number of rifle infantry and opposing combat mages. But, Nio still asked all members to maintain discipline in order to get out of the battle.

Group 2 alias the Silent Killer in a desperate condition when Hevaz tackles the combat witches who utilize rainwater as ‘bullet’ and ice javelin, so Group 1 rushes to help.

As long as Nio was fighting alone, he wanted to lure some opponents towards him, while he hoped that his unit would handle the rest. He made some calculations in a short period of time, and decided to adjust some things. The bad habit of making decisions while the conflict is still going on cannot be eliminated.

“Nio to Hevaz! Are you able to handle some of the witches that are escorting me?! And as for Group 1, you are still helping Group 2 suppress the enemy! Keep them busy!”

“Ready!” answer Hassan.

Hevaz respond to Nio's command, “As per your command, Mr Nio!”

Although Nio unconsciously made himself as bait, he actually hated the task very much. Witches were a threat to his unit, so he put up a body to confront them. Perhaps the majority of his subordinates disliked his actions, precisely all of Nio's subordinates did not want to engage in an unbalanced battle in terms of the number of soldiers.

In that case, increasing the number of passes will probably give the best results. From the Alliance's point of view, the small number of Indonesian troops was no different from the decoy troops.

Nio had asked his subordinates to conduct a dangerous battle against the infantry and rifle cavalry reinforced by the Alliance's combat mages, and Nio who was in charge of disrupting the opponent's efforts.

“Disturbing the concentration of the enemy is a bold move! Commander, let us help you!” shouted Hendra, who made the entire 12th Team members surprised.

Nio liked the spirit of his subordinates, but he could not accept the request of ‘Founder’ aka Hendra.

“Cannot. I will be back in the lead,” replied Nio.

Now is the time to make the subordinates believe that the commander should lead the army to victory. But, that doesn't mean Nio wants to let himself back as bait. People with good sense who are still functioning will not sacrifice for no reason.

Being a brave commander on the front lines is a must. In war, the decision to defend or attack is determined by how afraid the commander is. Meanwhile, Nio was among the brave and cowardly, so he asked his troops to move slowly while attacking.

However, as curiosity had defeated Nio's fear, he chose to expose himself to the enemy. As a result, a number of enemy soldiers started shooting at him. However, it made the 12th Team and the Silent Killer know the opponent's position.

Most of the witches and cavalry of the enemy rifles chased after Nio who stayed away from the crossfire. However, one by one bullets from snipers pierced the heads of several pursuers, allowing Nio to fire back.

When Nio moved away from the enemy, he did not feel worried. Needless to say, Team 12 has a very reliable ‘impor’ sniper. The position of ‘Blue Eyes’ aka Zefanya higher and unaffordable from the battlefield makes it have a wider range.

As more and more victims came from unknown places, the Alliance troops began to dub the sniper as ‘coward’.

Although this war turned some sides into battle maniacs, the existence of snipers changed everything. The Alliance's hatred of snipers may have begun on this day.

Snipers are so dependable and heavily protected by opponents, yet hated by them. Snipers destroy morale even if they don't kill the target, sometimes they just hurt it. Why did the sniper not kill the target directly? Soldiers who screamed, groaned in pain to show a suffering face but still live were able to reduce the morale of their colleagues.

Infantry used to shoot at each other indiscriminately and discriminate. However, the sniper will shoot after determining the target to be sent to the afterlife, so that the target is chosen randomly and unexpectedly.

But, all of that is not important for snipers. The only important thing for the ‘istimu’ warrior is to finish the battle and return to the base to get the next command.

The Zefanya didn't even want to stop shooting even though she chose a careless hiding position and a depleted supply of bullets. There are many opponents who need to be guided to the afterlife, although later his colleagues will call him a lifemaker or something like that. After all, his expenditure in shooting was much less than his peers, with 100% accuracy%. That is, every bullet he shot hit the target which is mostly the shoulder or head of the opposing soldier.

“Living Life to everyone. Everyone prepare their best attack. I want to end this battle before dark!”

“Understanding!!” everyone answered at the same time.

After giving the order, Nio immediately ran over when the three Alliance soldiers shot at him. After taking shelter behind a tree, the three Alliance soldiers fell down with hollowed shoulders. It was clearly Zefanya, but made Nio very grateful.

Then, he jumped up and rolled over to avoid the next shot. His regular movements were the result of his training. He then made note that his unit may require additional training to avoid shots when the protection provided is minimal.

Hevaz landed, then spun around as eight Alliance soldiers ran with bayonets aimed at him. The scythe that came spinning split the entire body of the opponent, making his Zefanya seem impossible to touch.

But, moments later the rest of the Alliance forces rained down on the entire crowd with the remaining bullets. The continuous shooting without direction turned out to make all of Nio's subordinates slow to react. The opponent was brave enough to carry out such an uncompromising attack.

As Nio took cover, he saw one of the enemy soldiers holding the most weapons ‘bagus’ among his subordinates. The weapon used by Nio has been seen in historical videos, the Israeli assault rifle TAR-21.

Maybe he was just an enemy commander, who was deliberately given a weapon with a good design to add morale, Nio thought.

But killing the enemy without remorse is far better than any action the opponent takes. In essence, Nio would only feel relieved after shooting or killing him.

Nio decided to turn his attention to the opponent's ‘komandan’, and prepared to attack with his sword. Shoot with a rifle? It was just the actions that had made Nio besieged with more enemies. Kill the commander with a grenade? It was only done by cowards that made no difference in harassing opponents.

So Nio chose to use the sword given by Sakuya. All he needed to do was slash his head or stab right at his heart with a sharp sword eye.

Nio was now right behind the opposing commander, and was getting closer to a silent step with no sound at all. The increasingly thick fog and the darkening day made Nio almost invisible and detectable. The eyes of the enemy commander stared confusedly in all directions, into an unreasonable battle, yet he did not look back.

Nio pointed the tip of his sword at his opponent's left back, and pushed it at full speed until it pierced through the chest. A sword or knife strike is said to have a more lethal impact than a standard assault rifle bullet.

He rolled his sword eyes, so the opposing commander cried out in pain. The man's body seemed to emit a red glow, but it dimmed and then disappeared completely after stopping roaring in pain.

“Oh, it looks like I failed to hit his heart,” Nio said

On the other hand, Gurion could not believe something piercing through his chest, and almost hit his heart. He frowned, then shouted as loud as possible due to the resulting pain. He attempted to activate Tameng Magic to protect himself from the next attack, but the magical energy he possessed was almost depleted.

Gurion's eyes turned back, then widened so that maybe both his eyeballs could jump out.

“Ka... You..”.

Gurion did not want to believe what he saw, but the severe injuries left him unable to continue his words. He thought he would succeed in bringing ‘Hero Hope’, but instead he was defeated by the Alliance's main target.

He tried hard to raise his rifle to avenge the Hero of Hope, but the TNI soldier immediately pulled out his sword and kicked him on the back. His body rolled down the hill, with his mouth cursing the Hero of Hope.
