81. Easy little battles 3

There was a very loud roaring sound in the otherworldly sky, this voice was louder than the roar of the dragon king. Even the green soldiers inside the fort had to cover their ears due to the loudness of the fighter engine.

Air patrol conducted by Combat Group 05, this is the first flight of the AU in the other world. The group was formed a few days ago, its goal was to train novice aviators. They split apart the clouds of other worlds and flew high at the speed of sound.

Since the airspace is free from civil aviation, it is a beautiful dream for the aviators. Unless they encounter a flying lizard, the animal if hit can be very dangerous rather than just hitting a flock of birds.

Combat Group 05 with 5 fighter jets, 2 fast bombers, 3 transport aircraft, 6 missile-carrying helicopters. Actually the air power of the TNI in other worlds is a plane that is almost retired. This old fighter is still in use because of budget problems, if sending new aircraft to another world might harm the AU itself. Because in the airspace of other worlds, other than dragons and wyverns, no one knew what other types of fantasy flying animals were.

When they were about to take off telling the aviators, the control tower would say, “There are no birds, dragons and other flying lizards. Fly as you like as long as you don't bump into fantasy flying animals.”

That is what makes the aviators with low flying hours happy.

In addition to beginner aviators, there are also aviators over 35 years old who should be ‘veteran’. They were transferred to another world to become trainers, and it was the personal choice of veteran aviators.

There were no commercial planes to be given way, nor were there American planes that often messed with Indonesian airspace. This empty sky belongs to young pilots who are training, and the freedom to explore at will is an opportunity for any aviator. After takeoff, they folded the landing gear and pushed the jet engine to full speed, flying up to 10 kilometers above ground level before doing the immelmann. While in the air, the pilots made some initial movements to make the Split-S maneuver.

Rantz let out a cold sweat when he heard an extremely loud sound from the sky. His entire army covered their ears as the iron dragons of otherworldly forces flew just a few kilometers above them. The horses of the cavalry troops began to be unsettled, almost even stressed due to the loud noise.

Rantz watched with a foolish face towards the iron dragon of his enemy who was flying with a strange motion, and immediately concluded that it was an object made by the Gate's ruling force. The military mage had good eyesight, even he could almost see someone sitting inside the iron dragon.

There was nothing in the information he received regarding the enemy's air power. Then Rantz smiled like a mentally assaulted person.

Now, the sky was no longer controlled by the fire dragon king nor any other dragon king. The iron dragon belonging to the enemy army seemed to be much more deadly in every way. It was only natural for anyone who had ever seen the green force weapon destroy the dragon riding army of the five countries combined forces.

“I don't care, I will destroy that otherworldly army and attack the country that is behind the Gate.”

Rantz kept ordering his troops to keep moving towards the Holy Land. Their distance to the location is about half a day's journey.

Their enemies had reached the Empire's territory, and that was the army that Rantz had to destroy.

Although it was a very sunny day, and it was not too hot during the day, Nio sighed quite often today. His tongue was still moving around in his mouth to look for any remaining rice that might still be on the sidelines of his teeth.

After completing his entire Team task, Nio and Team 1 joined Combat Group 1. On the other side of the fortress, the army of Arevelk Kingdom with the number of hundreds of thousands made camp in the Holy Land after obtaining permission from General Sucipto.

Today is the scheduled patrol of Combat Group 1 and 2 after the attack a few days ago. This is a task that is arguably quite dangerous, because the battle against the Luan Empire troops could have happened due to ‘ stray bullet’ that the soldiers deliberately released to provoke the enemy.

The 5th Combat Group had finished conducting the drill, although it was a cover because their real task was to keep an eye on the Luan Empire's army that was starting to approach the fortress.

Nio after being detached from the dangerous ‘’nya task, now he gets an even more tiring task. Losing the opportunity to contact Arunika made Nio only able to snort angrily to his superior.

“Why should it be now?”

Before Nio again sighed, the Commander of each Combat Group ordered his troops to count to make sure if the number of his troops was complete.

Needless to say, this army has a chance to fight again with the Empire. All the soldiers were convinced that if a battle were to occur, it would be an easy battle. Then ‘piercing’ deeper into the territory of the Luan Empire, this is the invasion plan that has not been realized.

However, this battle did not belong to the 1st and 2nd Combat Groups. The Arevelk Kingdom army was ready to fight with their approaching enemies. So, the two troops only served as obstacles.

However, no one knew the future scenario if the Imperial forces were to suddenly face off against Combat Groups 1 and 2.

If seen, the military technology of the Arevelk Kingdom and the Luan Empire would lead to long-running battles. Unlike when the TNI faced off with a joint force of five countries, the battle only lasted for half a day.

Unmanned aircraft continued to monitor the movements of the Imperial forces that were close to reaching the territory claimed by Indonesia. Meanwhile, the armies of Combat Group 1 and 2 were still awaiting orders from General Sucipto for departure.

The actions of the TNI had gained the approval of the opposing side of the Luan Empire. The Kingdom of Arevelk could not prohibit the TNI's routine duties in this world, namely patrolling the area around the Gate. Despite the doubts, the generals of Sigiz's army chose to think with a cold head.

Sigiz assessed that the actions of the TNI could make the Imperial troops return to the capital. He thought if it was possible that there would be a battle between the TNI and the Empire again.

“Peltu Nio, you are ordered to meet Queen Sigiz by General Sucipto. Read this letter to him.”

There was no rejection from Nio for the task given by one of Sucipto's aides. Even though in his heart he felt bad.

So as usual, Nio would borrow a vehicle from the garage and drive it to Sigiz's troop camp.

Nio never imagined if the TNI who first carried out attacks on enemies who fought with Indonesia. Nio would usually meet a shocking end, it could happen now.

“Maybe this is the destination of delivery of Combat Group 1 and 2.”

Nio was second-guessing what happened after the two Combat Groups met the Imperial forces.

A few hours later, 2 fighter jets flew over Sigiz's encampment. The extremely loud noise made the soldiers take refuge on the ground with their hands covering their ears.

Meanwhile, Nio, he looked calm as the fighter jet flew 5 kilometers above the campground and made a very loud noise. He only smiled slightly as Sigiz was seen shaking while covering his ears when he heard the sound of a jet fighter engine.

Although the sound of the jet engine caused tremors, it was not destructive. Nio begged Sigiz to calm down.

“Mr Nio, I have never seen that your country's army has an iron dragon.”

Nio smiled wryly after hearing Sigiz's statement, and explained one of the types of weapons.

Sigiz's face turned pale when he heard that the fighter jet he saw was a weapon. He would commit suicide if Sigiz joined the war against Indonesia.

“Then do you agree to our general's proposal?”

Sigiz again thought carefully about his actions to receive help from the TNI.

The Imperial army had reached the territory of the Holy Land, and the forces of the Arevelk Kingdom had been ordered to be prepared by their generals.

From outside the tent occupied by Sigiz, Nio saw the combat helicopter belonging to the Combat Group 1 had departed. The sound of engines from railgun tanks and cannons was common to this campground. It was a sign that a battle might be about to happen.

However, no leader could resist this extremely lucrative cooperation. Surely Sigiz trusted the TNI very much, but they could not give this war to them.

“We will receive help from your army general. But this war is ours, we will take part in this war. You can simply ask your general to send a small army.”

Sigiz's reply made Nio a little relieved, as he did not need to see any more unilateral massacres as the TNI deployed Combat Groups 1 and 2.

The TNI also did not want to interfere more deeply in the conflict between these two countries, but they assessed if the Imperial Forces crossed the territory that had been claimed.

If a small part of the TNI is involved, of course the Kingdom of Arevelk will gain victory. But this is not a victory purely the result of the hard work of the soldiers of the Kingdom, because there is foreign interference.

Nio's only duty was to deliver this letter to Sigiz, he had to immediately join the troops.
