Sirens, bells, and the shouting of the Arevelk supervisory army deployed throughout the fort signified the existence of the Alliance.
The Alliance, however, they were not for the time being unable to match the strength of the Guild. The heroes who gave their knowledge and power, have not shown rumors that the power they have is extraordinary. The Alliance has not failed in this war, and continues to grow thanks to the knowledge their Heroes bring.
Fighting to defend the country and the family was the duty of the soldiers and the people, and the Guild member states would not allow the Alliance to move further and freely. Likewise with the Alliance member states, they did not want the otherworldly machines to take their rights. The deadly force of the machines of the three other world countries was forced to make the Alliance take the first step in the attack.
Kim Baek-Ki approached Nio, talking to him something that Arga could not hear due to the tense atmosphere in the canteen filled with confusion and alertness.
“They're stupid bastards who've stopped thinking. They are increasingly making sudden attacks. When will they run out of strength, damn it,” Baek-Ki adds to Arga's tension, but not with Nio. Because Nio knew Baek-Ki was just blurting out words of humor.
“They are so stupid, so are the heroes. They were so brave that they made me want to cry.”
After Baek-Ki and Nio throw their dark humor at each other mocking the Alliance, the two of them leave the cafeteria with Arga and the rest of the army. They will later separate once out of the canteen door, as they are from different units.
When Nio passed through the canteen door, the girls instantly swarmed over him, as if protecting Nio from the crowd of people. Nio's still-injured body makes them create a living barricade, and protects Nio from adding to his suffering.
It made the soldiers who saw cursed Nio inwardly, and blatantly put on a face of hatred. What Nio got did not make others happy, and instead expected misfortune to befall the man.

It is not wrong to call the dense forest terrain with giant trees around Girinhi Fortress as a hindrance. The twenty-square-kilometer area of the line covering Girinhi Fortress and the surrounding villages is a safe zone, and the ten kilometers outside it is a potential conflict zone.
The battle area which was quite close to the residential area made it difficult for the members of the cavalry unit, with their heavy weapons that disturbed the peace of the citizens. Although the war requires residents near conflict areas to get used to it, otherworldly combat vehicles they consider like threatening beasts despite being well controlled.
The residents around the fort who saw one by one large vehicle from another world coming out of Girinhi Fortress were daunted. With the size of tanks and howitzers are very large, they assume the weapons are able to destroy a mountain.
(olog note: shadow tuh, tank ama cannon railgun can destroy the mountain. Roughly, a suitable name for a mountain-destroying weapon, what? Please write in the comments field)
Five main battle tanks equipped with regular 155mm RCL guns and one tank with railgun guns will be used as enemy mainline destroyers, plus 002 Relief Company heavy weapons that also have 230mm howitzers.
(olog note: RCL is an acronym for Recoiless, meaning no recoil or minimal recoil. Recoil itself is a counterclaim alias hit a firearm when shooting)
However, the decision does not always provide advantages and freedoms as support units seek to destroy the Alliance's main unit. The large size of the tank, the wooded terrain made it difficult for the operators to maneuver. And if they were separated from the 002 Relief Company, the dense forest terrain with giant trees resulted in a fatal effect if cornered by the modern forces of the Alliance.
In the skies of the battlefield, the 230mm howitzer of the 002 Relief Company began firing high-explosive shells, producing powerful explosions that shot out dozens of heavy cavalry and Alliance rifles in all directions for tens of meters. The attack was the opening of this bloody and deadly brawl.
Less than ten anti-personnel missiles shot from the portable launchers on the shoulders of the soldiers standing on the ramparts of the fortress. A platoon of armored monsters such as the Orc, Ogre, and Minotaur were destroyed by the explosive power of a missile designed to destroy the main battle tank.
Meanwhile, the cavalry units led by Arga were in the forest, chased by a number of Alliance rifle cavalry who fired their SP-1. A number of Alliance soldiers threw MK2 grenades, and exploded seconds later, but did not make a serious impact on the alloy armor layer of the main battle tank.
(olog note: MK2 is a grenade used by the United States army during World War 1, the development of MK1 which has a fairly poor quality)
Machine gun operators throughout the tank fired 14.5mm heavy machine guns, sweeping the front row of Alliance rifle cavalry using modern weapons. They were fascinated by the ancient weapons that the Alliance used in this war, which were now museum items. Still, even though the enemy is growing, the weapon of this other world army is more deadly.
Tank drivers tried hard to get through this dense forest terrain, pushing their iron elephants forward, until the engine groaned with heat, until black smoke billowed from the dump. Although on the other hand the thick black smoke that came out covered the machine gunner, and made them able to sweep the vanguard and so on the Alliance rifle cavalry who were still chasing and firing at the tanks with 7.62mm projectiles from their respective rifles.
In individual capability, the Alliance's rifle cavalry was no match for the Peacekeeping Forces' heavily armed infantry, meaning that it required them to use human wave tactics again to attempt to defeat those otherworldly steel weapons. However, the Alliance that fought in a clustered and hard manner had an overwhelming number of advantages to cover up the weaknesses.
At times, the entire Russian, Indonesian, and North Korean armies thought such a large army could defeat them. However, they also thought whether this war was not much different from the slaughter of enemy soldiers.
On the other hand, the – Alliance that declared itself as the army of mankind this world – could lose to the enemy's killing machine from another world? What is the real purpose of this war? Will the Great Warring Period finally end everything?
When Arga thinks that this war ends with the killing of many enemy soldiers, a platoon of Alliance rifle cavalry intercepts his tank railgun. The tank driver suddenly stopped his vehicle abruptly, shocking the four tanks around him.
The SP-1 platoon blasted a 7.62mm projectile into the steel body of the fifth alloy main battle tank, without scratching the paint. Although all the main tank operators – each tank there are six – operators calmly accept enemy attacks, in their hearts they also feel sorry for the Alliance soldiers.
The holo screen on each tank projects information about the status of the entire battlefield. Holograms display dots numbering in the hundreds of thousands covering the forest area around Girinhi Fortress.
Relief Company 002 was marked with a green square, and was protecting the two villages from the invasion of the Alliance's heavy infantry and its monsters. The work of these units not only protected the villages surrounding the fort, providing support fire and reserve troops was their function.
But the battle went a bit badly. Where the armored unit, which served as a walking defense continued to urge the enemy rifle cavalry in the forest, was progressing closer to the border between Arevelk and Luan Empire.
Supply units were deployed to where the tanks were located. Gunfire relief vehicles and armored carriers were chased and raided by the Alliance's relentless wave-like rifle cavalry, inhibiting the ammunition carriers for the tanks. The light automatic cannons and machine guns on the six wheeled armored vehicles tried to make the horsemen with the rifles retreat, without any unilateral slaughter. The commander of the supply unit was alarmed at the fifth position of the tank, which was very close to the border.
The armored unit had yet to get a chance to retaliate against the attack, and attempted to lure the Alliance rifle cavalry into the open. The battle in the forest was too dangerous for oneself, and the living creatures in the forest. That was why they coordinated with the Arevelk forces to map the area around the fortress, and head to the nearest open area.
The unit that Nio led has yet to be seen, yet they will appear on the battlefield that needs them the most, which is also the most dangerous fight. As the corpses of the Allies' horses, humans, monsters, and pieces of weapons scatter, Arevelk and Yekirnovo's forces begin to suffer casualties.
Piles of small and large goblins, a chapter-headed monster aka Orcs, and Kobolds piled up, creating a hill of corpses. Next to him, the scattered corpses of dozens of Alliance rifle infantry, numbered less than 100 casualties. In addition, dozens of horses and humans, as well as destroyed rifles added to the number of corpses on almost the entire dirt road in the village, totalling over 50 corpses of the Alliance rifle cavalry. What created it was Team 12, who fought to protect the village on the north side of the fortress, preventing monsters that had diverse fighting abilities from damaging the village.
And, when Nio and his subordinates, the Silent Killer, Sigiz's platoon, and Hevaz were about to catch up to the armored unit, twenty large Wyverns flashed above them. All the handlers on the flying lizards dropped two clay jars each to the entire village.
Seeing something raining down from above, the entire unit led by Nio in this village shouted, asking everyone to save themselves as soon as possible, even if they had to leave the property. Fire blasts spread throughout the village, creating a gigantic blaze that devoured most of the village buildings made of wood. The Alliance Molotov cocktails were once a serious threat during their first major raid against the TNI Expeditionary Force, and the attack was repeated again in this battle.
The flames forced everyone in the village to flee, resulting in the Wyvern Alliance's morale cheering happily.
The Wyvern Alliance riders continued the bombing, feeling victory could be achieved by destroying this village. The absence of enemy air defense weapons allows them to drop jars filled with flammable materials once they hit the ground.
Several Molotov cocktails hit two tactical vehicles belonging to the 12th Team, enveloping them in flames. Unfortunately, the attack did not result in a fatal impact on the vehicle, and only left a charred stain and the temperature inside the car increased.
The 12th Team, the Silent Assassins, Sigiz's platoon, and Hevaz fought the rest of the Alliance's armored infantry while waiting for the fire to go out completely.
Nio was somewhat troubled by the flames around him, making bad memories play back in his mind. His left eye was like someone who after having a nightmare, and he felt the pain in his body relapse.
Nio tried to control himself, as if the sea of fire around him did not exist. Unfortunately, the effort was not as easy as expected, and Nio's trauma regained control of him.
Several enemy infantry soldiers ran towards Nio with swords raised overhead. The projectile was fired without being targeted by Nio, making most of the attack miss, and killing a few of the opposing soldiers. The holo screen on his helmet reminded him that there was a problem with Nio's feelings, and reminded him to stay in control of whatever the situation was on the battlefield.
After the fire that covered the vehicle went out, the entire team moved to another point after sitting quietly in the car. Sigiz's platoon rode each other's horses, with the Silent Assassins catching up by running and jumping after taking out a number of enemy soldiers.
“Commander, he didn't miss, did he?” ask the driver of one of the tactical vehicles, Ardi.
All the passengers in the vehicle he was driving looked around, then put on a mixed expression of surprise, tension, and uneasiness.
“She missed!” zefanya answered in panic.
“Enemies are still roaming here. I'm afraid the Commander's trauma made it difficult,” connect ‘Nurse’ aka Gita.
“What did you guys do until you left the Commander?!” the words in a loud angry tone came from the deputy commander, Hassan, after hearing Ardi's report about the conditions in the vehicle he was driving.
The Russian girl's hands clasped the doorknob, and almost pulled it. He planned to jump out to catch up with Nio, but Hendra's hand held him back. The man's face was calm, and easily resisted Zefanya's attempt to open the door and exit when the fighting conditions made them desperate.
“Yakin to the Commander. He will not lose easily,” said Hendra calmly, although his brain ordered him to do the same with Zefanya.
Forcibly, Zefanya sat back in her place, her feelings mixed. However he was not alone, the entire 12th Team members felt the same fear and uneasiness.
**
“Are you unharmed, Mister?”
“Ya.”
“Sgratitude.”
Nio and Edera stared at the two 12th Team tactical vehicles away from them, leaving the commander for no reason. Nio took off his combat helmet, seeing the fire more clearly. It made her feelings for the fire worse, and tried hard to hold her body back from trembling.
After the conversation of Nio and Edera ended, the flying Hevaz – who was trying to drive away the Wyvern Alliance – rider said something in a tone like someone hated something.
“However, Mr. .. I have bad news.”
Looking down at the flames that were devouring the entire village buildings, the piles of corpses of humans, horses, as well as monsters, Nio replied to Hevaz's report.
“If you don't like it, it's better to go down. I'm not forcing you, but it's to keep yourself sane.”
Hevaz is the Envoy of the Goddess of Death and the God of War, which means he has seen various wars and deaths since he was commissioned. The madness of the battlefield and the pain of death that could not be imagined, he was quite used to the various ugly sides of this world.
“Tuan Nio, the troops led by Lux and military wizard Zariv may arrive in half a day,” reports Sigiz.
The unsettled look on Nio's left eye made Sigiz uncomfortable. On the other hand, Nio was in a calm state, and did not realize that the people around him were restless. The Silent Assassins and the others were nervous with Nio's gaze, and felt that their chief would not falter. If the God of War really existed, his eyes would definitely be like those of Nio.
Nio had swallowed all of his precious painkillers in order for himself to continue fighting, in exchange for being unclear.
He stood in the middle of the flames, then walked to another battle site followed by those who declared themselves to be his followers.
Serving a young warrior was not a bad thing, and they courageously followed the young man ahead to follow the next fight. No one knew with the various things on the dangerous battlefield, as it did not know with the shock the Alliance had.
