Goblin fog 2: not a shaman

As a Witch-class Explorer, Sabole was not dead yet, precisely she would not easily die when the five goblin-owned daggers pierced through her body, she screamed in pain. Fortunately, the entire attack he received did not hit any vital organs. Of course all his comrades and Nio would not be silent after he was injured.

Unfortunately, twenty small goblins and five two-meter tall goblins surrounded Nio and forced him to fight alongside them. Nio had no idea how long he would be in this place, thus forcing himself to save the remaining ammunition of the five magazines that each magazine contained thirty bullets. He challenged all these monsters and fought with a sword in his right hand and a fighting knife in his left hand. The fighting knife on his left hand served as a shield, and the sword in his right hand served as the main weapon that would slash the heads or hands of the goblins.

With a trained movement, he dodged, holding back the slash of the goblin dagger with the fighting knife in his left hand, then slashing the body of the little goblin. The main problem was with the large goblins carrying large tree trunks as their weapons, fortunately their numbers were not as many as the small goblins. He did some – breaths that had been tainted by the foul-smelling scent of goblin blood – then violently kicked every little goblin that jumped at him so nimbly. The front of his boots was quite hard, so it was able to knock out a few small goblins in a single kick. The dozens of small goblins that blocked his path to face the big goblins had diminished, and he could leave the rest to Kardas and Sayf.

Kardas and Sayf are not only experts in melee combat using a sword, they are both also martial arts experts – although not as talented as Nio. However, they can both be said to be included in the ‘miskin’ Explorers group, because the sword they use is not as sharp as Nio's and is decorated with a little rust. Sayf and Kardas bravely slashed every goblin Nio had injured to death. Although they had only made a final attack to kill the goblin Nio had injured, they had suppressed the fear with the extremely dangerous tenth floor, they deserved praise.

Nefe dragged Sabole into the bushes, then directed both of his palms in front of Sabole's stomach which continued to bleed. A small magic circle was created in front of Sabole's stomach, then Nefe started stringing up some words that were healing magic spells. The average Witch-class explorer mastered healing magic as first aid if any member of the group was injured. The two of them could hear the voices of their comrades fighting against one of these types of tenth floor resident monsters. Nefe and Sabole knew that the goblins on the tenth floor were capable of using weapons, and fighting with strategy. In fact, they were able to separate Nio from the main group and storm the man.

“You are a strong girl, Sabole. Hang on!” nefe's words trying to stop the bleeding shook Sabole.

Nefe felt unable to breathe for a while after seeing the terrifying sight of his friend's current condition, sweat started pouring down his forehead then dripping from his chin and falling to the ground.

Nio had killed two large goblins and handed the rest to Sakuya, as well as the small, easily defeated goblins handed over to Kardas and Sayf. The sword he used was one of the standard weapons for TNI warriors after the war with otherworldly nations took place, of course it is just a spare weapon other than a fighting knife if a rifle and pistol or other long-range weapon is useless when it runs out of bullets. Whenever there were goblins trying to thwart Nefe's efforts, Nio would slash the head and cut off the hands of the small and medium goblins. But, Nio no matter how many goblins challenge him to fight and said, “Well, I don't know what your problem is with us. But, come to me if you want to die!”

The ten small goblins and two goblins were snorting until their nostrils let out smoke, they stared intently at Nio and shouted as if understanding the man's words. After all, the monsters on the tenth floor were much smarter than most of the monsters in this Labyrinth, but Nio was not so sure if they could understand the challenge. However, seeing the reaction of those who were preparing to attack him was the thing that proved if Nio's challenge had been accepted.

Powerful knights who face the most dangerous monster raids are the most common bedtime stories. They kill the strongest monsters and enemies, fight evil, and save the world. Here, on the tenth floor of this Labyrinth, the four explorer girls saw Nio fighting alongside Sakuya against the dozens of goblins that felt endless. Rescuing those – who are from the enemy country – and teaming up with a hero who might have killed many of his friends, Nio fought so sincerely. In the end, the four Explorers girls saw Nio as a knight who saved stupid and weak girls like them.

Such thoughts made them want to struggle even harder. So is Sakuya – who admires Nio after she has confirmed that the man is a warrior who has battered the Angry Hero into suffering a severe mental attack. Imagining that he was not forced to become a hero for the Alliance, and being born as an Indonesian warrior made Sakuya feel like fighting alongside Nio even longer.

Without high status, and the money they had little, making Sayf and Kardas only able to buy cheap swords with outdated equipment. The chest guards they used were made of thin bronze plates lined with animal skin. The valuable items they had obtained during exploring the tenth floor were expected to be able to purchase new, nicer and stronger equipment for the four of them. Although with a cheap sword that could easily be severe and blunt, Kardas and Sayf bravely fought the weak little goblins that Nio had injured before. So their only task is as a team that performs the last attack to kill the enemy.

Meanwhile, the tattoo with a floral motif and a burning sword with a large fire added to the destroyed power of Sakuya's attack. Although the magical energy he had left was little and could not make every enemy he slashed into ashes, but Sakuya's attack was still extremely deadly. He became so spirited after Nio fought with them without relying on a rifle, and fought using a blade and sword. Even though he knew Nio's purpose of resting his rifle was to save ammunition, he still praised Nio's sword skills combined with the man's well-trained martial arts.

Sakuya for a while realized how dependent Japan was on drones and long-range weapons, so the soldiers only trained general military knowledge and basic martial arts and long-range combat using rifles. Kardas said with a face of disbelief after seeing the large goblin without left arm attack him and Sayf. Nio should have weakened the monster already, but Sayf's sword was thrown a few meters after the huge goblin attacked them with a large tree trunk. Kardas then slashed the right leg of the large goblin, but his power had drained after defeating dozens of small goblins. The sword slash from him was not enough to make the huge goblin in pain, and he carried out a non-lethal attack.

Kardas ordered Sayf to take his sword immediately, and he was the one who was going to hold the big goblin in front of him. After Sayf galloped towards his sword after being thrown, Kardas made a second attack on the goblin, and this time he managed to defeat the big goblin for the first time by slashing his face.

But a moment later, a small goblin jumped from behind him. The cardboard quickly twisted the body and kicked the body of the small goblin until it hit the trunk of the big tree hard. It was the result of his observation after noticing how to fight Nio who mixed martial arts elements with sword arts.

Nefe and Sabole had rejoined the fight, and they were surrounded by ten small goblins who were drooling disgustingly. However, at the same time, Nio himself was also besieged by dozens of medium-sized goblins, and looked unable to help them for now.

His left hand clasped Nefe's head very firmly, and it sounded like he was laughing as he managed to catch one of the enemy witches. Sabole who saw her friend in trouble said the words of the spell very quickly, but she was still losing fast with the attack of the big goblin tree trunk. His body was struck with great force using the tree trunk that became the goblin's weapon, his mouth spewing out a mouthful of blood as his back hit the rock extremely hard. It was then that dozens of medium-sized goblins surrounded him who was in a weak state.

The power of the huge goblin was much greater than Nefe, and his hand gripped the stronger the girl's head was. In a state of pain, fear, and panic, Nefe was unable to cast spells properly and many times he failed to cast his magic. As if bored with his constantly rebellious enemy, the huge goblin slammed Nefe's head very hard into the trunk of a nearby tree. Nefe fainted instantly with blood flowing from both his nostrils and forehead. As it was not enough just to make his victims faint, the big goblins along with his companions beat up the weak body of the girl with their weapons many times. The goblins beat up Nefe with their weapons, and did not hear the girl's screams and cries. Nefe's clothes began to break and tear and exposed an important area of his body due to the relentless punch.

Seeing that Nefe was no longer moving, the two large goblins approached Nefe's weak body and ripped off his clothes. The faces of the monsters grinned on their faces, threads of saliva hanging on the edge of their mouths. Nefe had not died despite being beaten many times with clubs and tree trunks belonging to the goblins. He knew that the monsters on the tenth floor had human-like behavior, like raping a helpless girl. Nefe closed his eyes, then tears flowed down both of his cheeks as if resigned to circumstances.

As the goblins nearly snatched away his honor, five explosions echoed through the air and shocked the two large goblins who were about to rape him. A moment later, two large goblins fell down and fell to the ground violently following the gravitational pull. Nefe's eyes weakly glanced at the source of the explosion, and saw Nio carrying his strange staff.

Sabole opened her eyes slowly after her body hit the rock hard, and heard the sounds of goblins crowding her. He was weak and unable to move, and the goblins took advantage of the moment to tear off the clothes he was wearing. Two sizable twins came out after his clothes were torn off by a dagger rusted by one of the small goblins. He screamed as loud as possible, but it made the goblins tear off his trousers to reveal an important part of his. Not wanting to let go, the two large goblins clenched both hands firmly, and the three small goblins began to show their anu ready to snatch away his honor.

There was no hope of saving his honor. However, all that despair suddenly disappeared…

A moment later, just as he was ready for everything that was about to happen to him, Sabole heard the sound of explosions several times and killed two small goblins. A moment later, there was the sound of another explosion that killed the two large goblins clutching both hands. When the explosion occurred, he saw a flash of light accompanying the killing of the goblins who almost raped him.

It was like a dream come true after seeing the flash of light save himself and his honor. A while later, he saw Nio running towards him while carrying his strange staff. Sebole now understands that the one who saved him was Nio, a soldier from an enemy country.

Hearing the sound of an extremely loud and shocking explosion, the entire goblins that surrounded the six of them ran spread out in all directions with their distinctive roars. Nefe let out a tear and flowed down his cheek which spewed blood and bruised after being grazed by dozens of goblins. Now he believes that knights are not only in fairy tales, but he has seen real knights right before his eyes.

Nio's face was so calm, and beside him was Kardas holding Nefe who was experiencing the same thing as Sabole. Sakuya and Sayf caught up with them after making a final attack on the goblins before the monsters escaped.

“You don't move first, “command Nio.

Kardas took Nefe down carefully and placed him next to Sabole. Both lost their clothes, and now they are both almost completely naked. They wanted to shout for Nio to stay away, but the terrible circumstances froze their tongues. Nio's face flushed slightly looking at the condition of the two of them. Seeing that, Nio immediately took off his coat and covered the bodies of the two before something bad happened to the two of them. After Nio took off his coat, Nio's entire equipment was clearly visible, and still the four Traveling girls thought the man's clothes were strange.

“We are safe, it seems,” said Nio in a hesitant tone.

The creature called Nio thinks whether all the goblins in this world have human-like nature when they see the innocent body of a weak girl, which is to rape them. He thought that goblins were only the kind of monsters that fought in large numbers and relied on their agile movements, and did not expect that the monsters had such a habit.

“Who are you, Nio?” nefe asked with his bruised face, but his sweet smile still did not disappear.

Although the answer was obvious, Nio didn't think it would add to his identity other than the Guild warriors, such as vampires, dragon hunters, or monster hunters who liked to rape girls. He still answered with a proud face if he was a warrior from the same world as Sakuya, and sided with the Alliance's enemies.

How the entire Traveler girl looked at Nio was like the gaze of a girl who had found a knight that only existed in fairy tales. They sat leaning against the stone weakly, even forgetting the pain all over their bodies. The clothes, equipment, and weapons Nio possessed were all strange objects according to the four Explorers girls, but Sakuya was very familiar with such modern combat clothing.

“You are lucky, to be able to explore the tenth floor with Nio,” Sakuya said with a sweet smiling face towards the man.

The memory if Nefe and Sabole were to nearly lose the honor by the goblins would not be forgotten in both of their heads. It will be a memory that will not be forgotten, and it hurts the heart and mind. However, the teary eyes of the two of them told him that Nio had really saved what was precious to both of them.

They understood that Nio's services could not be bought with the money or valuables they had found while exploring this tenth floor. The five girls saw Nio put his backpack on the ground, then took out six dark green-colored packets. It was the imukal, additional nutrition that Nio brought along during the mission of infiltration and reconnaissance in Tanoe City. However, now he even went to the territory of the Duiwel Empire which was thousands of kilometers from his destination city.

“All of you, drink this.”

Nio tore off the edge of an imukal wrap made of recycled paper, and gave it to the five girls.

“What is this? Healing herbs?” ask Kardas.

Nio smiled, and considered if the imukal – that can store nutrients for one day – is the same as the object referred to Kardas. He could have explained what it was that was cute towards the girls, but Nio was too lazy to do so.

Nio knew that he was neither a witch nor a sorcerer, but as he gave each of the five girls a wishful word for their strength to recover, and can keep fighting until it helps find a way out for him.
