High School Soldier
3. The first day (the first day)

January 4, 2320, at 16:39 WIB.

A few hours after the explosion of a shock wave of purple spirals that appeared in the Karimata Strait, as many as 10 million people living on the islands of Sumatra, Kalimatan and Java were killed. The number includes TNI soldiers scattered on all three islands.

Rio wrapped the cloth around Nio's leg which did not stop bleeding. This cloth came from Nio's uniform which he told Rio to tear off some of it as a cover for his wound.

Nike smiled as she felt herself calming Nio down. Rika who saw Nike smiling felt astonished, quite rarely for him to see Nike smiling, considering Nike is a fairly closed student no wonder seeing Nike smiling is a rare sight.

But Nike this time smiled at Nio, Rika's mind was getting everywhere.

“She is not yet conscious, so just let her be first,” Rika replied while confirming Lisa's head pad came from a bag belonging to another student.

Nike can still stand alone even though it is still helped by Rika to walk. Nike can try to walk by dragging its feet. As for Nio, to set foot that was injured he could shout.

“How about Lisa's mom?” ask Jo. Everyone glanced at Lisa who was still unconscious.

Nio waited under the tree still standing in the school environment with Nike and Rika. While Jo and Rio are both struggling to get Lisa from where they were.

“Hah, really useless huh?” muttered Nio while exhaling a heavy breath.

“You mean?” nike's timpal sits near Nio. Nio replied, “No, Just talk to yourself.”

Nike knew from Nio's previous statement, only that Nio did not want to explain his current feelings.

Rika sees Nike can talk to other people with ordinary, instead she considers this incident unusual.

Let's forget Rika's bully-like behavior between Nio and Nike.

A few minutes later Jo returned with a stick. It was obvious who was going to wear it.

Nio accepted the wand and tried to stand on his own. The others only looked at Nio who seemed to be using the stick for the first time, even though that was the fact.

With a single try Nio managed to stand with a stick despite trembling slightly.

“Ok, I'll search by myself,” said Nio sure.

“But I am still worried about you,” replied Rio in a non-serious tone.

“Are you my mother?” said Nio with a face of disdain towards Rio.

“That's right, are you used to using the stick?” ask Nike.

Nio tried to step up a bit, and it worked. It makes Nio feel confident to be able to find his own brother even with the difficult circumstances like now.

“Yap, this is quite easy,” said Nio.

Everyone's happy to see that. But there is one thing they forget.

“Terus, who's keeping Lisa's mom?” ask Rika.

All of them glanced at Nike.

It was a female teacher with long straight black hair, similar to the characteristics of Arunika.

Nio stopped his steps and looked further at if indeed that person was really still moving.

With a little difficulty the man tried to sit down.

Nio was still waiting for the person to sit down and look at him.

A few minutes later the man managed to sit down while holding his slightly injured head.
