51. Crickets after the battle

Mass operations to reclaim territory held by other world forces began. After the TNI's supreme command gave the order to deploy troops in enemy-held territory, the biggest military operation the Indonesian military has conducted in this century began.

The entire army confidently began to set out for the territory controlled by the otherworldly forces. With new weapons and equipment they are increasingly confident to get the victory.

Hundreds of newly built, multi-class warships began to emerge from the shipyard. Including 5 aircraft carriers began to be deployed to clean up the enemy navy that is still roaming the territorial waters of Indonesia.

Several countries that heard the news that the Indonesian military conducted the largest operation, began to give their opinions. Most are some suggestions and criticisms and feel that Indonesia will experience defeat in battle.

But what gives unpleasant criticism of the Indonesian military is only a handful of parties who are only considered as passing flies, one of which is the United States.

They confidently assume that Indonesian troops will experience defeat if they continue to use only domestic production weapons. Though the US has a better weapon system than Indonesia, but their military rank is below several positions from Indonesia, even from several other Asean countries.

They gave bad opinions to the Indonesian military for several reasons. One of them is the cancellation of cooperation to develop a defense tool called a 'robot of war'.

So, the point is they just want to do some things that can make Indonesia 'em ashamed'.

They broadcast the criticism through international TV broadcasts that are still standing. The goal is of course to let the whole world know if their military is much stronger than the TNI.

Indonesia prefers to develop war robot weapons alone, and rejects all cooperation proposed by some countries who are also interested in the project. The result is that Indonesia is developing this type of weapon in a long time, which is 20 years. Arguably quite slow compared to countries that also do the development of war robots such as Russia, Japan and the US.

The war robots used by the three countries are already using remote control technology. Indonesian war robots still use manual control systems.

The gate still looks like usual, hit by small to medium waves but still standing firmly.

The atmosphere on the beach really calms the heart if not in a state of war. The sky that is already increasingly orange adds a calming impression.

But all of that turned into the panic of the entire army. The originally calm gate, now showed a strange.

The gate felt vibrating, like it caused a small earthquake around it. But all the soldiers tried to calm down and prepare to face the thing that might come out of the Gate.

The tip of the cannon and other heavy weapons began to point the tip of the weapon towards the Gate.

"The flags they bring are different than the troops we've faced, right?"

The commander then grabbed a wireless communication device and told the rest of his army to resist the attack. Because the dragon riders showed no signs of attack, so it is not cool to attack troops who do not have the intention.

Team one since arriving at the point of attack began to build defenses in the rubber forest in the Mojogedang sub-district.

The defense that team 1 built was a defensive trench and barbed wire fence that was arranged quite high. Its function is as an obstacle to the movement of the enemy to prevent them from entering the defense area. The soil from the ditch dug into rice sacks and was arranged as protection for soldiers, on top of which were mounted heavy and light machine guns to finish off the enemy.

The soldiers began to occupy their respective positions, such as entering into a trench and taking cover behind the sack wall or behind a tree. It could be that the slope of the enemy carried out by team 2 will run quickly and the operation will be completed in a short time.

From the command vehicle, Surya ordered his subordinates to connect the communication with team 2.

"Team 2 go in, change," said Surya from a wireless communication device connected to Herlina.

"This is team 2, have you finished making the defense?, over," retorted Herlina who was still sitting in the command car and watched all the soldiers who were preparing to face the enemy forces.

"Ready, already. All the soldiers took their positions. You can do the dribbling now. Replace."

Herlina then closed the communication channel. Actually they do not need to fear if the communication channel will be known by the enemy, because the enemy is unlikely to have this kind of technology. But the power used to communicate must be saved, because the power line may have been cut off.

Herlina then exits the command vehicle in search of her deputy, Nio.

Nio is seen still talking to Rio, Jo and Tania. While the talk they do is just a joke to reduce nervousness when the battle begins.

While the other soldiers are preparing their own equipment, such as wearing a vest that has not previously been used and checking the condition of the weapon.

They do not have to worry about confusion using the new rifle, because the weapons they use the next type of assault rifle before so the way of use will be the same.

When Herlina appeared, the entire army immediately ran and made a neat row. Nio stood in front of the line with a well-built body and a firm face. And Herlina started the conversation....

"Operation will be carried out, I am sure you are in good shape and very excited. Soon we will face battle, and bring pride to ourselves when we defeat the enemy forces. Next, First lieutenant Nio's maid will speak."

Nio advanced four steps from the original spot, then turned the body firmly as taught while practicing line-striping.

Suddenly Nio smiled, and began to say....

"Don't bring dizziness. The combat way of the enemy is very different, and only makes them into our real medium of fire practice. Friends are quite sure that this operation will last less than two days. I've expected it before, but there will probably be some things that will make the operation last more than two days...."

Nio did the speech a little longer than Herlina did, it made the day a little dark since it was already past five in the afternoon. Previously, Nio and Herlina had already divided the team into 3 groups.

Nio led one of the group with the armament of one armored vehicle with a heavy machine gun. Two soldiers carry submachine guns on their shoulders as additional weaponry, and don't forget Tania who is also in Nio's group. Tania was carrying the latest sniper rifle that was longer than her height.

Herlina commanded from the command vehicle, but the task was not easy as she was also responsible for the safety of her soldiers. If he wrongly gave the order, the soldier's life was at stake.

However, current TNI laws may allow subordinate soldiers to defy orders from superiors if they feel life-threatening and risk humanity.

The three groups were then ordered to split up. The goal is to surround the enemy and make their movements limited because there are three troops who continue to attack.

The group led by Nio arrived at the settlement that was near the encampment of the enemy forces. The enemy camp was in a village field.

The villagers had already left their residences since the arrival of the enemy troops in Mojogedang sub-district.

Nio gave word to the group closest to him by using a wireless communication tool.

"This is group 2. We've arrived near the enemy camp, over."

A moment later came the sound of 'ant' and then came the sound of a human voice.

"This is group 1, we have also arrived near the enemy camp."

Following which, the group of 3 also reported their current position which was also near the enemy encampment.

Nio then led Group 2 to move closer and closer to the enemy encampment. Carefully and quietly as possible to keep the enemy unknown, they dashed after Nio who was in front.

Group 2 takes cover behind the fence of one of the residents' houses. This place is the closest point to the enemy camp, with a distance of about 50 meters.

Tania pulled out the end of her rifle barrel from the fence, and was seen aiming from her rifle's optical binoculars. There were two snipers in group 2, including Tania.

"Tania, don't shoot first" prevented Nio as Tania was seen preparing a bullet to fire.

"Well," Tania replied in an annoyed tone.

But Tania is seen not releasing her shot, and still putting her index finger on the trigger.

The village field was seen to be bright and sounded increasingly crowded with a group of people who were speaking a very foreign language. Enemy troops were seen lighting torches and distributing dinner rations.

The enemy troops were not prepared to fight. But if necessary they can retreat quickly, because they have determined the path.

Not far from the camp, there were horses belonging to the enemy troops who were eating the feed prepared for them. It must be the grass they get from around the camp or chopping leaves on trees that grow on the side of the road.

Nio gets a communication connection from Herlina, with the contents of the order to raid the enemy camp.

Nio then orders Tania and one other sniper to go up to the second floor of the residents' house which is already an empty building.

All members of group 2 activate night vision to make it easier to see.

Tania had already signaled that she and her fellow snipers were already on top of the building.

A moment later there was the sound of consecutive gunfire and grenade explosions, it came from the group of 1 who had attacked first.

"Damn it, we can't miss...!!!" exclaiming Nio who jumped out of the fence of the house.

"Yes...!!!" the entire army shouted with excitement and followed Nio's footsteps.

Troops that were not prepared with the attack could only resignedly become a real firing training tool for all soldiers, in fact they were satisfied practicing shooting in the underground city.

New bullets used by the troops can destroy the armor of the enemy troops. With the effect of burning on ammunition that can penetrate the armor and body of enemy troops.

So the new bullet is more similar to how tank ammunition works, but much smaller in size.

Most of the enemy troops managed to escape by leaving their comrades who were attacked blindly. Hundreds of bullets from the troops and tactical and armored vehicles were released and killed dozens of enemy soldiers who were shocked by the sudden attack.

The light yellow-colored path was seen hovering, and it was a bullet fired and was a result of burning. The yellow-lit path also helped the troops to determine the direction of fire to be on target.

Previously, ammunition that can form a yellow-lit path was only found in tank shells.

The entire sniper took aim at the enemy's head with optical binoculars and laser aiming. Optical binoculars are equipped with a kind of night vision technology, making it easier to aim at targets.

The released bullet would shoot out at high speed, then smash the head of the enemy protected by an iron helmet . They all look 'happy' when the enemy can be finished off easily than before.

Using otherworldly language, the enemy troops sounded confused with the iron armor their comrades were using could be penetrated. Because previously ordinary bullets could not penetrate their armor.

"Shielded...!!!"

All soldiers alerted the shield to take cover from the enemy who was seen preparing an arrow attack that burned at the end.

The enemy gets even more chaotic as the assault drones fire bullets from above them.

"Campus, the new weapon is great...!" exclaim one of the assault drone controllers.

His other companion only shook his head in astonishment.

All the enemy soldiers cursed, and fled with their colleagues through the existing path. Meanwhile, the path they had traveled led directly to the rubber forest. Where is the 1st team who can't wait to welcome them.

"Shoot on, just think of it as your real enemy fire practice...!!!"

Slowly, group 2 reduced the number of enemy troops to face team 1.

The battle was over after the watch exactly showed at 7 p.m. Indeed it was the time limit of the raid set by Herlina.

The sound of crickets rang out after the battle, as if they were unaware of any fighting around them.

The entire army re-examined the encampment which was in a state of disrepair after the attack. Some horses fell victim to stray bullets, but it did not harm team 2 at all. Do not know to be flanked the horses, because if to be eaten must be processed properly or the meat will feel hard.

The soldiers raised the lifeless bodies of enemy soldiers and gathered them in one place.

"How's...?" asked Herlina while removing her helmet which made her head turn hot.

"The number of killed enemies was 164, the number of wounded and captured was 204" Nio replied.

Herlina nodded in understanding then ordered Nio to rest.

On team 2 there were no casualties at all. However, one soldier was injured in the leg, because he stepped on the former battle site while removing his shoes and accidentally stepped on a nail.

Enemy soldiers who managed to be held captive look frightened and tremble violently. They are bound to each other so as not to escape.

One of the enemy soldiers said, "This is a massacre right?"

"Why did the King send us to this world!?"
