Love Bersemi In Turkey

Love Bersemi In Turkey
To Turkey

I couldn't ask Vian any more because he was always calling, talking to so many people. I'm packing some clothes for me and him. I knew he wouldn't have time for that.

We walked up to the plane stairs. This will be my first time on a plane. My parents and brothers often went abroad, but they never took me with them. I had to live with my grandmother, and try to survive on my own. I shook my head, trying to forget those memories.

We got on the plane and I looked around. Small and not many chairs. The plane itself was smaller than I imagined. We walked to some chairs, I immediately walked ahead of Vian, to take a seat by the window. Vian just chuckled and sat down next to me, shaking his head.

I looked out the window and saw that we had not moved. Then, look back at Vian.

"Vian, where are we really going? Why do we have to go? Who the hell is that boss? What does he want from me? What are you-" I can't solve my question because he put his index finger in my mouth.

"Shh ... You're making me dizzy, my goodness! We're going to Turkey because I'm of Turkish descent, I have relatives there. We'll stay at my sister's house later. Besides, it's none of your business" he said while removing his index finger from my lips.

"Tell me everything! I'm involved with this so you have to tell me!" I screamed because I really wanted to know about his boss.

"The boss killed Liza! Understood it? He killed her because of me. His threat means he'll come after you if I don't get back into the gang. I can't let that happen again!" Vian yelled at me, making me speechless right then and there.

I kept quiet after that. Makes sense now. I looked around, there was no one. I took a deep breath and grabbed Vian's hand.

"That will never happen. And if that happens, it's not your fault" I said.

He just nodded but I could see that he didn't trust me. I turned my gaze out the window, sensing that we were about to start flying. I still held her hand, holding her even tighter. I placed my next hand on our intertwined hand as the plane began to move.

I closed my eyes, feeling that we were going up into the air. I was so scared that I didn't even realize I was holding my breath.

"Breathe, Sadiya. Have you never been on a plane before?" Vian asked gently.

I started breathing but I was still tense, unable to open my eyes. I nodded, because I knew I couldn't talk. I heard Vian sigh, before I felt an arm suddenly curl up on my shoulder.

"It's okay, don't worry. The scary part was only a few seconds," he said while nodding.

I stayed glued to her a little longer, calming down because of her alluring aroma before I felt my chair was no longer directed. I opened my eyes, looking around. Vian looked to the other side and I turned around, looking out the window.

We were on high ground and I could see all the little houses. It was so strange, yet beautiful.

I didn't know I was asleep. When I woke up, I looked around first, still unaware of where I was before. Finally my consciousness recovered.

I looked out the window and we were still in the air. I turned my eyes to my side and saw Vian sleeping. It turned out that we were still holding hands and I was smiling, enjoying the strange feeling that ran through my arms. I placed her head gently on my lap so that her neck would not hurt when she woke up, caressing her soft, wavy hair on my fingers.

"Oh, No, thank you. But I have a question. Why is there no one on this plane, as always. And why, this plane is also smaller than I thought," I said and the girl looked at me confused before laughing.

"Of course, this is Mr. Vian's private plane, why should anyone else be here?" he said with a laugh and I laughed with him, not knowing why. I'm rattled. I know he's rich but I didn't think he was that rich? Private plane, he's kidding?

I feel Vian moving his head. He woke up, but his head was still on my lap.

“Why are you screaming in my ears, I want to sleep,” he said as he curled back up, making me laugh.

“Wah mister bad boy, I didn't know that you had a plane," I said and he just groaned and went back to sleep. I shook my head, letting him sleep longer.

We were standing in front of a house. A very large house and looks amazing. The house has a large garden covered with many different flowers. I wonder where we are. The door opened when Vian knocked on it.

A little girl stood in front of that door, looking at us with a timid expression. He called his mother. Vian said nothing. We hear the voices of people talking. A few seconds later, a woman came out. What was surprising was that he looked exactly like Vian. I tried to remember if I'd seen it, but to my knowledge I'd never seen it, and it was weird. If it was her sister, why wasn't she present at our wedding? The woman looked back and forth between Vian and me. His mouth widened and he put his hand on his mouth.

“Kak Vian? Alhamdulillah,” he said as he rushed towards Vian and hugged him. I smiled at the sight. Vian hugging someone was not something I used to see every day. That's very funny.

They spoke many things to each other in different languages that I did not understand. It made me feel very awkward and like an outcast.

The little girl looked at me for a long time. "Kimsin's sen? (Who are you)" he asked.

I didn't understand what he was saying, so I could only kneel down and pinch his cheek with a smile. He smiles too.

"I can't understand you, honey," I said in Indonesian. I know she understands Indonesian, because she called her mother in Indonesian. The little girl turned to look at Vian.

"O Turkce milmiyor, Layla (she doesn't know Turkish, Layla)" Vian told her and she seemed confused to see him.

"This is your uncle Vian, Layla remember?" ask mother.

Layla nodded and ran towards Vian. Vian stretched out both arms and the little girl jumped towards him.

It's a sight I can't describe. They look so sweet together. He was so good at talking and joking with the little girl that he made her laugh.

The woman looked at me and smiled. "I'm Sevda, Vian's sister. You must be Sadiya, right?" he said while hugging me tightly.
