Love Lightning Old Virgin

Love Lightning Old Virgin
The Chapter XXV

“Is Cousin Julia going to introduce me?” Cherry asked, clearly beaming. “Then I must admit that you arranged it, sir, that's the best thing you've ever done for me! In fact, that's the only good thing you've ever done for me, and I'm really grateful to you!”

“Excellent speech!”

“Yes, but that doesn't solve the problem of where I'm going to stay or what I'm going to do for a whole year,”. “Dan, I want to make it clear to you that no one, no one can persuade me to go back to Aunt Mirela! If you force me to come back, I'll run away again!”

“Not if you have a little common sense,” said his uncle seriously. He looked at Cherry with a sinister smile.

“You will do as you are told, My child, because if you cause trouble like this once again, I promise I will not allow you to be introduced in the next Meeting Season.”

Cherry turned pale with anger, and stuttered, “You.

“Stop this stupidity!” cut Miss Dior in a carefree tone. “Omong empty you two are so outrageous! I don't know which of you is more childish, but I do know which of you has little reason to behave like a spoiled child!”

A slight red hue was visible on Mr. Constantine's cheeks, but he raised his shoulders, then said, with a moment's laugh, “I have no patience to deal with a disrespectful and disobedient schoolboy.”

“I hate you!” said Cherry, in a low, vibrating voice.

“I'm sure so.”

“Oh, for God's sake, stop being such a boring person, you two!” miss Dior said, very irritated. “This ridiculous quarrel appears for no reason at all! There's no way your uncle's handing you back to Mrs Raina, Cherry, because your aunt has made it very clear she doesn't want you back.”

“He will change his mind,” Cherry said desperately.

“She often said she would take off her responsibility for me, but she never did!”

“Yeah, I'm sure your uncle won't hand you over to him even if your aunt does change her mind.” Miss Dior raised an eyebrow witfully towards Mr Constantine, and said, “That's right, “right, Mister?” A reluctant smile graced the man's lips at a glance.

“Actually no, I won't do it.” He admits.

“For me he seems to be unable to control Cherry, and proved to be neither a proper nor proper person to be in charge of her. So, now I was faced with an important obligation to look for someone else, and, hopefully, a more assertive family member filled his position.”

This remark did not satisfy Cherry, but she was greatly relieved to learn that her uncle had no intention of returning her to Madame Raina so she decided to ignore the part of her speech that had touched her. He said hesitantly, “It is not possible for me to remain under the responsibility of Miss Dior, Mister?”

“No,” replied the uncle without compromise.

“Because, first, she's even more inappropriate and inappropriate person to act as your guardian than your aunt. He is too young to take care of you, or anyone, and has absolutely no kinship with you.”

“He's not too young!” cherry shouted furiously. “She's old enough!”

“And, second,” continued his uncle, seen only from the vibrations in the muscles near his mouth he had heard this fierce cry, “ will be very inappropriate for me, or you, to take advantage of its good properties very outrageously.”

Obviously this point of view never occurred to Cherry. It took him a moment to understand, and he finally said, “Oh! I didn't mean it.” She looked at Miss Dior pleading, and said, “I won't I won't at all trouble you, Madam, but ... but will I be a burden to you? Please tell me!”

Throwing a denouncing gaze at Mr. Constantine, Miss Dior replied, “No, but one of the objections your uncle has raised, I realized it was appropriate. I am not related to you, and it would be considered very strange if you, who is known to have escaped the care of Lady Raina, became my responsibility. Such a remarkable change must have led to conjectures and gossip that I'm sure you won't like. Moreover, such scandalous seasoning will inevitably vilify Mrs Raina's good name, and that, I know, you don't want to happen. No matter how many drab bans he's given you and even if you find them boring, you'll admit he's always acted in error by prioritizing your well-being.”

“Ya.” Cherry reluctantly agreed. “But not when he tried to force me to accept Archard's proposal!” This, as Mr. Constantine admitted, responding cynically to this conversation, became (in his own election) a leveling, apparently not ending the debate.

Miss Dior turned her brain around quickly, and said, “I wouldn't be surprised if your aunt thought she was trying to improve your well-being. Remember, honey, Archard was your best friend when you were kids. Madame Raina could be of the opinion that you will find true happiness with her.”

“Do you .. know, Madam, trying to persuade me to return to Cheltenham?!” sue Cherry, with great suspicion.

“Oh, no,” said Miss Dior calmly. “Kukira that's not the solution. What I'm doing is explaining to you that if you, with a slightly impossible possibility, can persuade your uncle to appoint me to be your guardian, rather than someone from your own kin, the three of us will be severely reproached. Well, I don't have to try to cover it up I don't want to get that kind of reproach and, in your situation, I don't want to, his reproach will be very detrimental because you can be sure that Madame Raina will tell her friends and acquaintances and perhaps relatives of your father's side as well you are completely out of control, and has left him to stay with someone completely foreign, yang”

“Indeed very true!” sela Mr. Constantine.

“Yang,” continued Miss Dior, ignoring the disrespectful interruptions, “ will have a far more detrimental impact on your future than you have realized. Believe me, Cherry, there is nothing more fatal to a girl than to have a reputation no matter how unfairly as a crooked, wild, scruffy prank girl, and so dangerous that it is ready to do something so electrifying rather than give up on the authorities.”

“That would be so bad, wouldn't it?” cherry said, stunned by the picture of bad things related to the situation.

“Indeed.” Miss Dior convinced him. “And that's why I really think your uncle should arrange for you to stay, until the day of your introduction, with your other relatives, especially relatives living in Paris, that can introduce ways of bringing yourself right into society before you actually jump into it. Your uncle is the only member of your father's family I know, but I don't think he's the only representative of his family.”

He turned to set a kindly questioning gaze to Mr. Constantine, and said, “Tell, Sir, if Cherry has no aunt or cousin, from your family side, or not, which would be very good for Cherry to stay with?”

“Yeah, there's my sister, of course.” He said with great consideration.

“Aunt Caroline?” cherry said, hesitatingly. “But, isn't he seriously ill, Mister?”

“Yes, self-torturing is her favorite pastime.” Mr. Constantine assures. “He suffered from a mysterious disease that could not be known the cause, but apparently could not be cured again. One of the strangest symptoms is that she is hard to control whenever she finds herself being asked to do something she doesn't want to do. He said he became weak helpless just because he thought he had to attend a party that looked like it would be a very boring party. It's impossible to say he wouldn't have gotten any worse if I proposed to him that he be in charge of you, so I wouldn't have done it. I don't want to be the cause of his death.”
