Love Lightning Old Virgin

Love Lightning Old Virgin
LXIV CHAPTER

However, when she had dressed neatly in an expensive dress, and tied herself to lace-hat ropes under her chin, she admitted she did not look like a bad young woman. Mr. Arthur was allowed in shortly after eleven, and by noticing his brother was not in his best view, he was so shocked by his pale face and tired eyes that he forgot the order given to him and called out suddenly.

“For God's sake, Caroline! Destroy me if I ever see you look so tired! Poor old lady, how bad the times you've lived have been! And, if I think of that wretched babysitter that's what makes you sick I can well, forget it!” he added, too late, remembering his commands.

“There is no point in making ourselves sad! Well, I'll tell you what Majorie and I want you to do, and that is to come to the Chateau once you're well enough to travel, and visit for long periods. How?”

“Very fun! Thank you, how good you two are! But, tell me, how's Luke doing?” Mr. Arthur never needed more encouragement to talk about his children, and spent the rest of his brief visit in a harmless way.

When he got up to leave, he kissed his sister's cheek, gave her a cheek of encouragement on the shoulder, and said, “Well, no one can accuse me of staying too long, or speak to you to the point of suffering, no one can accuse me of staying too long, “kan?”

“Of course not! Chatting with you has had a very good impact on me, and I hope you will visit me soon.”

“Ah, of course I will visit! Ah, is that you, Elle? Came to force me out, didn't you? How cruel are you! Well, Caroline, be a good girl, and see how fast you can get back to health! I'll take Majorie for a walk now: just a leisurely walk, you know, but I'll visit you for a while when we get home.”

She then left, and Elle moved one of the pillows propping up her mistress, and urged her to close her eyes, taking a nap before the snack was brought to her.

Grand Mistress Dior, after reluctantly handing her daughter over to the nurse, was overjoyed to take a leisurely stroll with Mr. Arthur, and unapologetic when Cherry refused an invitation to accompany them. She set off towards Paris Road, leaning on her husband's arm, and said, “His delightful move can be with you again, dear! Now we can chat comfortably, without poor Belevia interrupting us!”

“Yes, that's what I thought, when I persuaded you to take a walk with me,” said Mr. Arthur.

“My evil good idea, isn't it?”

However, he would not have thought it a good idea had he known no less than ten minutes later Mr. Constantine would have sought permission to enter Miss Dior's house. Anash, who opened the door for Mr. Constantine, said Miss Dior had received no guests. Miss Dior, she said, was unwell, and had not been allowed to leave the room.

“I've been told that,” said Mr. Constantine.

“Please give my card to him.” Anash received the business card from her, and said, with a slight bow,

“I will have this business card delivered to Madam's room, Tuan”

“Well, don't let me stand in the doorway!” mr. Constantine said impatiently.

Anash, a very good butler, found himself in confusion because he had never before faced a guest on a morning of the caliber of Lord Constantine.

The rude people he could handle were no other Miss Dior friends who would demand permission to enter when she was told Miss Dior wasn't home and Mr. Arthur, she said, those who dislike Mr. Constantine, as Anash is well aware, will surely expect him not to be allowed in.

“I'm sorry, Sir, it's impossible for you to meet Miss Dior. Today was the first time she was healthy enough to sit for an hour or two, and her servant told me she had almost no strength to walk to the couch. So, I'm sure you'll understand you can't find it today.”

“No, I will not understand,” said Mr. Constantine, roughly walking quickly past the servant towards the vestibule.

“Close door! Now, take my card to your mistress right away, and tell her I want to meet her!” Anash was insulted by Mr. Constantine's disrespectful entrance, and he did not like to be given orders that could not be refused. He was about to respond with great dignity when a suspicion crossed his head he would later explain this to Mistress Mary as an extraordinary situation she was facing a man who was truly in love. Men in such conditions should be forgiven, so he forgave Mr. Constantine, and said in a fatherly manner like the way he spoke to Mr. Luke,

“Well, you know I can't do that, Sir! I'll tell Madam that you visited, but you can't expect to meet her when she just got out of bed.”

“I not only hope to meet him, but I have to meet him,” replied Mr. Constantine.

Fortunately for Anash, he was saved from his predicament by the appearance of Elle on the scene, who came down the stairs, saluted with a slight bow, and said,

“Do you want to see Miss Caroline, Mr?”

“Not only want, but determined to meet him. Are you his servant?”

“Ya, Sir, right.”

“Good! I've heard him talk about you, and I thought your name was Elle, and you've been with Miss Dior for years. Really?”

“I've been with him since he was a child, Tuan”

“Good again! You must know him very well, and be able to tell me if it would be dangerous for him to see me.”

“I guess it won't harm him, Sir, but I can't decide for myself to say whether he will be willing to accept you.”

“Ask him directly!” Elle seemed to look at Mr. Constantine with no prejudice for a moment, then said, saying,

“Of course, Sir If you are willing to wait in the living room, I will ask.”

He turned around and went up the stairs again with great dignity and Anash, regained consciousness from the shock of seeing the most fearsome members of the household surrender without any sign of dislike to Mr. Constantine's brazen demands, leading the man into the living room. Anash is very interested in this unprecedented situation, and his pleasure in enjoying this situation is no longer marred by the fear of Lord Arthur's wrath because if Mr. Arthur becomes angry, he will not be happy, he could now throw blame for Mr. Constantine's interference on Elle.

“Nona Caroline will be happy to receive you, Mr Please come with me?” He went ahead of the man up a second pair of steps, and stopped at the top of the stairs, and said,

“I must warn you, Sir, Miss Caroline is not fully recovered at all. You will find it very tired due to fever, and I hope you will not make it restless.”

“I hope so too,” he replied.

Elle was apparently satisfied with this answer because she opened the door to Miss Dior's room, and led the man in, saying in a voice that had no interest at all,

“Mr Constantine, Nyonya”

Elle stayed, holding the door open, for a few minutes because when she broke the news of Mr. Constantine's arrival to her mistress, Miss Dior behaved in a very agitated manner, and it seemed not to know whether he wanted to see her or not.

Miss Dior had woken up from her lying position, saying confusedly, “Master Constantine? Oh, no, I can't Elle, are you lying to me? Is he really here? Oh, why would she have to come back just when I was so shabby and completely unwell? I don't want to see him! He's the most disgusting person oh, what should I do?”

“Well, Madam, if you want me to Expel it, I will try my best to do it, but from his face most likely he will order me to step aside, and climb the stairs with a frenzy, he said, and the next thing you will know is he will knock on your door otherwise he comes in without knocking, which will not make me wonder.”

Miss Dior laughed hesitantly.

“People disgusting! Get rid of this horrible scarf! If I had to meet him, I wouldn't do it by lying on the sofa as if I had a serious illness!”

So, when Mr. Constantine walked in, he found Miss Dior sitting on one end of the sofa, the tail of her dress slapped in a fine crease at her feet and her glowing hair hidden inside a lacy hat. He was able to calm down again, and said, in a fairly steady voice, “How are you? You must have forgiven me for welcoming you like this Elle told you, I'm sure, I'm not well, and have not been allowed to leave the room.” As she spoke, Miss Dior tried to stand up, but her knees shook so violently that she had to hold on to the arm of the sofa to prevent it from falling. However, just as the woman was staggering, Mr. Constantine, who crossed the room in two steps, caught the woman with his hand, and held her close, faced each other, caught her, and with a fierce kiss the woman.

“Oh!” Miss Dior gasped, trying to distance herself from the man but in vain.

“How dare you! Let go of me immediately!”

“You will fall if I let you go,” said Mr. Constantine, and kissed him again.

“No, no, you can't! Oh, how cruel you are! I wish I had never met you!” ms. Dior insisted, stopping the unbalanced resistance to free herself, and was stunned limply into the man's strong arms, and shed tears on his shoulders. At this moment, Elle, who was smiling wryly, withdrew, apparently feeling Mr. Constantine was perfectly capable of handling Miss Dior without his help.

“Don't cry, My Precious Crying Girl!” mr. Constantine said, giving her a third kiss under Miss Dior's ear, now that the woman's head rests on her shoulders, the only part of the body she can reach.

And as she felt more comfortable, Lady Dior leaned closer to the warmth of Mr. Constantine's body, and slowly walked over to sit on the chair in the room.
