Love Lightning Old Virgin

Love Lightning Old Virgin
CHAPTER XXXII'S

The next day, Grand Master Curtis visits Versailles to apologize to Miss Dior for hurting her feelings. Because the waiters were busy taking care of all the preparations for the dinner party later, the visit was not on time. Anash, or Diandre, the servant, might tell the nobleman that Miss Dior is not home: but because Anash is really busy in his cool room, gathering all the spoons and glasses that would be needed to entertain around thirty guests, and Diandre, aided by the mercenary and two female servants, was moving various furniture out of the living room, the report said, so what opened the door for Great Lord Curtis was a young servant whose nervous attempt to say his mistress was not at home, the nobleman managed to face without difficulty. Great Lord Curtis said, in a very friendly manner that fascinated the servant, he thought that Miss Dior would spare a few minutes for him, and walked past the servant into the house. The servant left before the nobleman entered and returned to Anash who scolded him all out. He gave an excuse that Great Lord Curtis walked past him just like he wasn't there.

Apparently, there was no choice but to escort the nobleman to the reading room at the back of the house, and hurriedly search for his mistress. The servant found him, after searching in vain on the upper floors, in the basement, and asked the cook, so Curtis was forced to wait for some time before Miss Dior appeared.

Miss Dior's mood was not good, and after giving her the shortest greeting, she told her guest that she could only spare a few minutes, given that there were many things that needed to be done that morning, and begged the guest to convey his affairs with him without wasting time.

The Great Lord Curtis's reply was to tempt him. The nobleman said, holding Miss Dior's hand in a warm grip, “I know that. You're having a party tonight, aren't you? I will hold you no longer than to beg you to forgive me for my part in the dispute between us in the Pump Room yesterday the day after, and to believe that I, I, driven by a great concern for your safety, to speak words that you consider impolite! I can only assure you, dear Miss Caroline, those words are not meant to be impolite, and beg you to forgive me.”

Miss Dior's anger evaporated. He said, “Well, of course I forgive you, Curtis! Don't think about it anymore! We all sometimes say something that shouldn't be said.”

Great Lord Curtis pressed his lips against Miss Dior's hand. “Too good, too generous!” he said, with a very moved voice. “I was worried, when I found out from Cyril you had invited him and young Hawkesbury to your party tonight, but did not invite me, I have offended you to the point of being hard to forgive.”

“Omong empty!” said Miss Dior. “I didn't invite you because this party is for Cherry, and the party will be made up almost entirely of girls who haven't been introduced to the public, and their accompanying brothers and lovers, also some father and mother. You'll feel very bored!”

“I never might get bored with you,” the nobleman said to her.

Miss Dior is soon overrun by the pitiful shadow of the man, who was left for a lonely night, feeling himself unwelcome while his brother goes with his friend to have fun at night. He finally gave in to his impulse by saying, “Well, of course, come, if you can face the children and widows!”

Those words were instantly regretted once they were thrown out. It was too late when he remembered Curtis was so used to being alone. Very rarely did Cyril, during his frequent visits, spend the night at home. He said, when scolded, that Will did not want it: and 'Theresa, Curtis' eldest sister, complained it was because of her habit of resting in the library after dinner, eagerly reading her catalogues, which were hers, or rearrange his little decorations.

Miss Dior said, in a futile effort to get the man to decline his invitation, “I must warn you, Sir, uncle Cherry will be present. You might prefer not to meet him.”

“I'm sure,” he said, with a smile full of patience, Saku is capable enough to control yourself so that it will not embarrass you by getting into an argument with Constantine under the roof of your house, dear Miss Caroline!” The man then, with a reassertion of his gratitude, bid him farewell. Miss Dior only cursed herself for being persuaded to meet the demands of the nobleman.

The rest of the day went by with nothing but the arrival of Deborah Lisa, who was hired to be Cherry's maid. Caroline had prepared herself to face criticism about this carefree-faced woman from the older servants, but even though Elle said carefully that it was too early to judge, it was still too early, she added that Miss Lisa seemed to understand her work: and Madame Mary and Anash expressed their sincere agreement towards this new occupant. “A very polite young woman, and as the Madam would have liked,” said Mrs Mary.

“Not someone who likes to defy,” said Anash, adding with confidence, “and don't worry he will be at odds with Miss Elle, Miss Caroline!”

Miss Lisa showed off her abilities when she dressed up Cherry for the party that night, for not only did she persuade Cherry to wear the most delicate pink rose muslin dress compared to the more modern yellow dress that Cherry wanted to wear, but also managed to convince the girl a strand of beads that Cherry had bought that day were not suitable for night wear as well as her pearl necklace brushing Cherry's curly hair black to smooth glossy, silky, and set it up in a simple, charming style, which drew praise from Miss Dior, when she entered Cherry's room just before dinner.

Miss Dior brought with her a beautiful bracelet, decorated with pearls, and put it on Cherry's wrist, saying, “That's a small gift, with my affection for your first party!”

“Oh? Cherry gasps. “Oh, Miss Dior, thank you! Oh, it's so pretty! How very good you are to me. Look, Lisa!”

“Indeed very beautiful, Madam Perfect, if I may comment,” replied Lisa, while observing Miss Dior's clothes with her expert eyes.

He found nothing to comment on. Miss Dior wears a thin silk sky blue robe with an open front covered in a white satin layer. A sapphire necklace was wedged around his neck, and a piece of sapphire was embedded in his shiny hair. She looked, Cherry told her in an enchanted tone, amazing. Miss Dior laughed at her, and protested Cherry's choice of adjective, saying that the word sounded as if she was over-dressed for the event.

“Yeah, nettle!” Cherry fix.

“Let's go down to make Archard fascinated! I was told he had arrived a few minutes ago.” They found the young man waiting in the living room. She had been invited to dinner, and obviously she tried hard to show her best with her clothes. Cherry exclaimed in admiration, “Oh, that's great, Archard! You look so neat, really! Right, “kan, Madam?”

“Ya, right. Very handsome,” said Miss Dior. “I was so fascinated, especially by the beauty of the tie. How long did it take you to get something this beautiful, Archard?”

“Hour-hour!” he replied, his cheeks blushing. “It's an oriental pattern, you know, and I guess I've managed to make it. Well, please, stop laughing at me, Mistress!” He turned to take from the table where he put two bouquets of flowers, and gave them in an awkward style, saying, “Please, if you are willing to accept this bouquet! And, this one, Cher, for you.”
