Love Lightning Old Virgin

Love Lightning Old Virgin
Chapter VII

This situation does not seem strange to Miss Dior, but what seems very strange to her is precisely Oliver's husband-and-wife attitude which is very serious about what, according to his understanding, the monkey love problem, is, which involves a passionate feeling but lasts a while. He said with a quick smile, “I think it does seem strange to you, Cherry, but it's common for young men to fall in love with women older than they are. I guess Oliver's husband and wife needn't be too agitated about the matter.”

“Oh, no, of course they shouldn't need to be so.” Cherry consented. “Gosh, Archard fell in love half-dead with a girl during his first year of college in De Strasbourg and even I could have guessed that girl was so ineligible! Fortunately, he ended the relationship with the girl before Oliver's family knew anything about it, so they didn't fuss and fret about the matter. But, this time around there was a nosy person who liked to gossip writing a letter to tell Great Lord Oliver that Archard was being close to this Parisian woman, so Great Lord Oliver criticized him, saying, and Grand Madam Oliver pleaded with Archard to not hasten his father's death by keeping his betrothed, dan”

“Gosh!” sela Miss Dior. “Dumb couple! They deserved to accept that Archard would marry this unwanted woman without a second thought.” He found himself making impulsive remarks, then said, “I shouldn't have said that, my tongue is hard to control. Forgetit! Do I really think that Ome is north of Oise? Do you live there too?”

“No, now no. I did live there until Mama died, three years ago, but since then I have lived in Cheltenham, with my aunt and uncle, and the house in Ome, which is mine, been rented to foreigners.”

This statement left Miss Dior confused. His words were pitiful, but the way he delivered them did not look pitiful at all. He said, with hesitation, “No doubt, it must be sad for you to see a stranger occupy your home.”

“Oh, no, absolutely not!” sahut Cherry cheerful. “They are very pleasant people and pay very much rent, in addition to keeping the garden well maintained. I'd be happy living in Cheltenham if only my aunt would take me to the Community and the theater, but she wouldn't because she said I was too young, and I shouldn't go to dance parties and dinners and tea parties at night until I'm introduced to them regularly. That is,” said Cherry, her eyes blazing with great anger, “the reason she brought me to Ome!” He stopped, his chest puffed up in anger. “Nona Dior!” he said with a stir. “Bi... can you imagine the possibility of someone becoming so ... so foolish as to think that Archard, having established a close relationship with another woman, would feel little intention to propose to me? Or that I should accept the proposal? But, they force, they're all!” He stopped, his face was flushed red, and it took him a few minutes before he was able to temper his anger. However, he managed to do so, and continued saying in an exasperated tone, “I think, if I agree to visit Oliver's family, I can count on Archard to resist, even if he lacks the courage to tell the gathering place of members of the society from the upper social class, both for men and women. The main Community rooms are able to accommodate hundreds or even thousands of people for events such as mask parties, regular dance parties, and others. his father that he wouldn't want to marry me if I wasn't there to support him. I should have known it wasn't true!” Feeling very surprised, Miss Dior asked, “But, I got the impression she told her father she was willing to ask you. If so, is it not possible that”

“Not so,” says Cherry in a flat tone. “I don't know what he said to Great Lord Oliver, but to me, he said it would be unwise to provoke a fight, and the best thing for us was to give the impression that we were willing to get engaged, and trust God to help us before our relationship is formalized. But, I don't believe in God, Madam, and I feel as if ... as if I'm entangled in a trap! And, the only thing I could think of was running away. You know, there's no one I can ask for help with since my uncle died and I'm sure he won't be of much use because he always lets Aunt Mirela do as she pleases in every way. He's a very nice person, but not a strict person.” Miss Dior was surprised. “Has he died? I'm sorry, but I thought you said your uncle might come looking for you once, if he could be persuaded to act!” Cherry looked at him, and suddenly laughed mockingly. “Not that uncle, Madam! Another uncle,” said.

“Which else? Sure was! How stupid I thought you only had one uncle! Try, please, tell me about your terrible uncle so I don't get confused any longer! Is your good uncle his brother?”

“Oh, no! Uncle Loise is Mama's brother. Uncle Damien is a Constantine, and Papa's older brother, though only three years older,” Cherry said, in a tone that disparaged Mr. Damien Constantine's. “She and Uncle Loise were appointed as my guardians, but of course they didn't have to look after me while Mama was alive, except to manage my wealth.”

“You have wealth?” miss Dior asked, in a very impressed tone.

“Well, I guess that's because Aunt Mirela always told me to be careful of wealth hunters, but I think it looks like it belongs to Uncle Damien, and it's not mine at all because I'm not allowed to use it. She sent my alimony to Aunt Mirela, and Aunt only gave me pocket money, and when I sent a letter to tell Uncle that I was old enough to buy my own dress, he sent me an unpleasant answer, refusing to change plans! Every time I begged her, she always said that my aunt knew best, and I had to do as my aunt told me to! Uncle was the most selfish person in the world, and didn't have the slightest bit of affection for me. It's just that her, ma'am, she has a very big house in Paris, and has never invited me to visit her! Not once though! And, when I proposed he might want me to take care of his house, he replied in the roughest way that he never wanted it at all!”

“Jeez, no!” said Cherry. “Which looks clear to you, doesn't it?”

“Should I admit she sounds very unpleasant.” Caroline acknowledged.

“Ya, and besides, his behavior is very defiant. In fact, he was a very proud person, never bothered to be polite to anyone, and treated others with an indifferent attitude that made people want to slap him!” As it is clear Cherry is quick to make herself full of anger, there may be a good thing Miss Harrow's arrival serves as an effective stop to further reproach about Mr.'s nature. Damien Constantine's. Miss Harrow's attitude showed her employer that she was deeply hurt, but determined to accept the indifference shown to her with the patience of a Christian. Nothing could beat his courtesy towards Cherry, who was so meticulous as to almost crush the passionate young lady, and the attitude shown as she listened to Caroline's words and immediately agreed to it, it seems so demeaning that the one who pays attention may consider it a slave of a cruel master. But, at a time when Caroline was irritated beyond the limits of patience because these tactics almost let out her anger, sir. Blanchet announced his arrival thus creating an exhilarating diversion.
