Love Lightning Old Virgin

Love Lightning Old Virgin
LIV CHAPTER

He then moved quickly to hurriedly put on his riding clothes, and before he reappeared, Archard arrived at Versailles, and, having let Diandre take care of his borrowed old horse, was, she goes in to tell Miss Dior even though she doesn't want to partake in Mr. Curtis's entourage, she agrees to do so because she thinks it's her duty to see Cherry safely. “Which I think you will hope it is confirmed, Madam!” said the young man boldly.

It was hard to imagine what kind of wound could threaten Cherry in such a good entourage, but Miss Dior thanked her, saying she could now feel at ease, and he hoped Archard would try to enjoy a little pleasure from the expedition. Miss Dior was well aware the young man was watching Cyril Curtis with a jealous look, and guessed, appropriately, keeping Cherry safely arrived was his reason for accepting an invitation that was too tempting to turn down. This allegation came true when Archard said spontaneously, “Oh, yes! I will definitely enjoy! I admit, I would love to catch a glimpse of the countryside of Camp de mars! And, not everyone gets a chance to look around the house with a private lane, so it will feel a pity if missed. I am sure this visit is very valuable!”

Miss Dior agreed, without a smile so as not to show her keenness towards the immediately imagined image of this glad speech, the young Mr. Blanchet impressed his family and acquaintances with cursory accounts of the beauty and comfort of a noble residence, which he happened to have visited, personally, of course, while living in Rouen.

Miss Dior watched the party leave, minutes later, feeling certain that Mr. Constantine in his reproachful mood would find it hard to criticize him for doing so. And, if the man did criticize her, Miss Dior would be happy to remind her when the man impolitely left the banquet party, the man said that since Archard and Henry Curtis were guarding Cherry, there was no need for her to keep an eye on the girl.

The rest of the morning passed without any significant incident, but shortly after Big Lady Dior rested for her usual sleep, Miss Dior, again struggled with the record-keeping in the reading room, I received a very unexpected guest.

“Someone named Big Lady Oliver has come to see you, Madam,” said Anash, holding out a small tray, upon which lies a business card.

“I found out this woman is Mr. Blanchet's esteemed parents, then I've delivered her to the living room, thinking you wouldn't expect me to say you weren't home.”

“Mrs Big Oliver?” exclaim Miss Dior. “What do you do not, of course I do not want you to tell him I am not home! I'll be there soon.”

He put away his record-keeping report, satisfied himself, took a quick glance at the antique mirror hanging over the fireplace that his hair was very tidy, and climbed the stairs to the living room.

There, he was confronted by a slender woman clad in a tight robe of young violet silk, and an unattractive hooded hat. Her dress had a dangling tail, a scarf drooping off the shoulder of Big Lady Oliver, and a small bag of her hands. In fact, the decoration of camel fur on his hat in drooping conditions, and there is a strong impression that the fur decoration occurs in his carriage.

Miss Dior walked over, saying, with a friendly smile, “His Great Lady Oliver? How are you doing?”

Grand Madam Oliver flung her veil back, and showed her hostess a beautiful, thin, sunken face, dominated by a pair of deep, enormous sunken eyes. “Are you Miss Dior?” she asked, looking at Caroline with interest.

“Ya, Mistress,” answered Caroline. “And you, I guess, are Archard's mother. I'm very happy to get acquainted with you.”

“I've expected it!” firmly the nobleman with a tremble. “Aduh, ouch!”

“Please excuse?” caroline said, very surprised.

“You are so beautiful!” great Madame Oliver said, covering her face with her two gloved hands.

A worrying suspicion that he was hosting an insane person flashed through Miss Dior's mind. She said, in a voice that she hoped sounded calm, “I'm afraid you're not in good shape, Madame Please, are you willing to sit down? Can I get you something? A glass... a glass of water, perhaps, or... or tea?”

Grand Madam Oliver raised her head, and straightened her drooping shoulders. Her hands were lowered, her eyes were blazing, and she said, in a tone of voice that was full of vigor, “Ya, Miss Dior! You can give me back my son!”

“Restore your son?” ask Miss Dior with a stupor.

“You cannot be expected to discuss the feelings of a mother, but of course, of course, you cannot be so merciless that you still do not want to care about her request!”

Miss Dior now realizes she is not hosting a madman, but a woman with excessive irritability, and a real penchant for melodrama. He never sympathized with people who indulged in the desire to show such ridiculous spectacle. He thought Big Madam Oliver was being stupid and not having good manners, but he tried to hide his contemptuous attitude, and said kindly, “I think you misunderstood, Madam Allow me to immediately convince you Archard is not in Rouen for my sake! Do you, think he's in love with me? He will be shocked when he hears you say that! For God's sake, she thinks of me as just an aunt!”

“Do you think I'm a fool?” sue Big Madame Oliver.

“If only I hadn't seen you, I might have been fooled into believing you, but I've seen you, and obviously for me You've ensnared her with a dangerous beauty!”

“Oh, bullshit!” miss Dior said, irritated. “Train him? I'm forgiving for taking sides with my parents, but with what appeal do you think an inexperienced boy of Archard's age could be attracted to me? About him who has been the victim of my beauty and harm, as you choose to call it, such thoughts never, I am very sure, crossed his mind! Now, please sit down, and try to calm yourself!”

Big Mistress Oliver was flabbergasted in a chair, but shook his head, and said pitifully, “I'm not accusing you of ensnaring him in an immoral manner. Maybe you don't realize how sensitive he is.”

Big Madame Oliver looked in disbelief, but the practical consideration of what Miss Dior had spoken made an impact, and she said in a not so dramatic tone, not so much, “Did you tell me he had cut himself off from his family for the sake of a girl he had never seen until he came to Rouen? That's impossible!”

“No, of course not that! I also can't believe he had the slightest intention of breaking up the relationship! I'm sorry if I said had you, and her father, not made her so mad by reproaching her so unfairly when she came back at you guys, she would very likely be with you this time.”

Big Madame Oliver paid little heed to this, but said with great sadness, “I would never believe she behaved so disobediently! He has always been a kind and loving boy, so attentive, and so dear to both of us! And, he had no reason whatsoever to leave us because his father fulfilled his every wish, and never let out any words of reproach when he was forced to pay off his debts! I feel sure the boy has fallen to the evil influence.”

“Honored Lady, that's not the case! He simply enjoys the charm of freedom! He really loves his father, and to you too, of course, but maybe you have been looking after him a little too long.” She smiles.

“I guess he and Cherry suffered from the same complaint. Too much anxiety-filled attention, and too little freedom!”

“Don't talk to me about that naughty girl” beg Big Madam Oliver, shudder. “I have never been so overwhelmed by anyone! And, if it was his influence that had deceived my son against us, I would not be surprised. A girl who can cause her poor aunt to die will be able to do anything!”

“Really? I didn't expect the problem to be that serious,” Miss Dior said, with a sarcastic smile.

“I guess you don't understand what it means to experience acute anxiety, Miss Dior.”

“No, I'm glad to say I don't understand. But, we have to believe that the injury to Ms Raina's nerves will not prove to be irreversible. I'm sure he'll feel much better if convinced there's no danger in returning Cherry in his care.”

“How can you be so cruel?” said Big Madam Oliver, staring with reproach. “Do you not have any sympathy for the agonizing unease suffered by Lady Raina, knowing her niece who for her welfare she has devoted her life to, choosing to leave her to live with strangers?”

“I'm afraid I don't have, Honest Lady, I feel that Madame Raina is really anxious, indeed, he will come to Rouen to find out for himself whether I am a grated person or not to look after Cherry.”

“I see no point in talking further with you, Miss Dior,” said Big Lady Oliver, rising to her feet. “I'll just beg you to prove your sincerity by returning Archard to me.”

“I'm sorry for refusing to help,” said Miss Dior, “but I wouldn't do something like that. It would be a very disrespectful act of interference. Archard's business is none of my business. May I suggest that you speak to him yourself? And, I think you would be wise not to mention this visit to him, because I'm sure he'd be very angry that you've been talking about his business with someone other than his father.
