“Where is Suiren?!” General Themisree's voice boomed along the corridor.
All the servants could only turn to each other without answering the question of General Themisree.
Gilbert could only lower his head. After all, the task of looking after Suiren was his main task and he failed to carry out that task properly.
General Themisree is not stupid. He knew that his daughter would often sneak out of the residence without his knowledge. He understood that his daughter also needed to spend time alone without being followed by bodyguards. Even so, this was not a good time to sneak out without the supervision of a single bodyguard.
This time it's different. Everything was different, so he could not stand still when he knew his daughter could not be found anywhere in his residence.
“Gilbert you only have one task!” this time his anger was directed at Gilbert. His eyes showed tremendous anger.
Gilbert knew his master's mood wasn't good today, but he didn't expect the atmosphere to be this bad.
Gilbert had not yet answered General Themisree's question, the front doorkeeper opened the main entrance. Twice on the same day, the guard was seen struggling. Although this time rather than worrying like this morning he looks more relieved.
“Du-Duke Wisteria-” is the second time he has heard that name come out of his guard's mouth today.
The Themisree general wrinkled his face and looked at the main doorman of his residence. From the look in his eyes, it was as if he was saying 'Speak clearly if you still want to live.'
“Lady Suiren already found!”
“Your daughter is waiting.” Kyrie leaned against the wall of the carriage with both hands crossed. Kyrie gave a strange look to Gilbert. It was as if he was staring at someone who was very incompetent in carrying out his duties.
Gilbert did not like Kyrie Wisteria's tone at all. However, he still had to respect the Duke from the north. After bending over he then got into the carriage and saw Suiren was asleep with a red face and snoring.
He then hurriedly lifted Suiren's tiny body and carried her out of the carriage. He could smell the beer coming out of Suiren's breath. He immediately knew what was really going on.
'Was Lady Suiren in her rebellion?' He had never seen Suiren drink liquor before. 'Today is really a strange day.'
“Thank you for bringing Lady Suiren back safely.” After saying that he immediately sauntered into the residence without making any small talk.
Gilbert passed by the Themisree General who was standing in front of the entrance. The General's face looked calmer than before.
“Alright then, I say goodbye first.” One leg had boarded the carriage before General Themisree intercepted it.
“I should thank you very quickly for your kindness, Duke Wisteria.” General Themisree said. “Sekalgus continued our conversation in the morning.”
Hearing that, Kyrie Wisteria gave a thin grin and then she turned her body around. He did not expect that he would receive the response he expected so soon.
“By pleasure, General Themisree.” he said as he walked into the Themisree residence.
