My Fiance Is The 2nd Male Lead
The Imperial Knights

When Gilbert rushed back to the border post where the Knights who were off duty guarding the border were practicing swords with each other, he was shocked by the sight that lay before him.

“Lady Suiren?!” he strangled when he saw the Lady swinging the sword with her two tiny hands.

Suiren turned towards the voice and waved his hand with his right hand and made the sword he was holding with his right hand fall to the ground.

“Ack!” Suiren grimaced as the weight of the sword made his wrist seem almost broken. He felt as if the entire vein of his left hand was attracted by the weight of the sword he borrowed from one of the Knights.

Gilbert ran over to Suiren. “What are you doing?!” His eyes showed a worried look.

“Can't you see, Gilbert?” reply Suiren.

“Your father will kill me.”

“Because I learned to protect myself?” suiren replied. “You must reduce that unwarranted panic, Gilbert.”

Suiren then again swung the sword with both hands. Up and down and then make the gesture spin.

“Who gave you the sword, Lady Suiren?” ask Gilbert.

“A Knight named Edwin Lambert. Red-haired man sitting under a tree.” Suiren pointed towards the person in question with the tip of his sword.

Gilbert gave a deadly look to the accused from afar.

Gilbert sighed and then took out a sword from his sword sheath. He then stood next to Suiren and took a swing and then began to swing his sword.

“You must improve your posture first, only after that you can start learning how to hold a sword.”

Suiren looked at Gilbert with an excited look. “Please teach me, Captain Trancy!”

Gilbert gave an annoyed look to Suiren. “Don't call me Captain, Lady Suiren.”

“Good, Captain Trancy!” chirping Suiren.

When Gilbert was teaching Suiren the basics of holding a sword, some Knights approached Gilbert and began to form a crowd.

“How, Captain Trancy? Have you spoken to General Themisree about the rumors?” one of the Knights said.

“I am very excited to contribute to the dismantling of the human trafficking syndicate that has unsettled many inhabitants of the Helianthus Empire!” this time another Knight expressed his opinion excitedly.

Suiren remained focused on swinging his sword while stealing hear what the Knights were talking about.

“We were given an order by the Imperial Family to guard the border of the Ginryuu Kingdom army. Therefore, we must do our duty in maintaining the security of the Empire as well as possible.” Gilbert said firmly. “Details of the strategy we will use will be explained by General Themisree at our meeting tomorrow morning.”

No one immediately responded to Gilbert. There is a pause of about two minutes accompanied by whispers of each other. Until finally a knight raised his hand to ask.

“In other words, you say that our mission this time is to protect the human trafficking syndicate?”

Gilbert looked at the owner of the voice with a sharp look. “You have an objection to convey, Knight Surrey?”

The knight named Surrey with black hair just shook his head.

“You know that some of us have acquaintances who are direct victims of the syndicate

human trafficking isn't it, Captain Trancy?” someone said with a firm tone.

“Are you suggesting we go against the orders of the imperial family, the Knights of Dupois?” reply Gilbert with

enquiries. He said he had no choice in this.

“No, Captain. Not at all. Merely, did General Themisree not do anything about this? The eastern region was his jurisdiction, but why did he act as if he was under the feet of the impe−” family the Knight stopped his words before it was finished and then glanced at Suiren who was still

he swung his sword.

“This talk stops here. Go back to each other's posts and prepare your mental and physical for the meeting tomorrow morning.” Gilbert's words then dispersed the crowd of knights.

After that he walked up to Suiren.

“Lady Suiren, I hope you are not offended by the words of one of the Knights earlier.” Say

slow down.

“Hmm? What words?” Suiren asked with a puzzled look.

Gilbert looked at Suiren fixedly and then shook his head. “Forget it, Lady Suiren.”

But what Gilber does not know is that Suiren listened to the whole conversation of the Knights and he was not at all offended by the words of one of the knights who said that his father was under the feet of the Imperial Family. He actually got a brilliant idea from the results of eavesdropping on the conversation.
