Suiren was still following the flow of human movements that led him to tunnel after dark tunnel. They walked so far away as if they had no other purpose than darkness.
There was only the sound of the guards shouting for these people to move quickly and the sound of spiritless footsteps.
A cold hand touched Suiren's arm. He looked to see who touched his hand.
Anishas. He was visibly frightened by the cries of the guards and Suiren could not find his mother nearby. In the darkness, Suiren could see the traces of tears flowing from both ends of Anisha's eyes. Drying and rubbing on both cheeks.
“Where's your Mom?” asked Suiren slowly. Trying not to attract attention.
Anisha just shook her head.
Amongst this commotion, he must have been separated from his mother. Alone in this place with people he did not know, what awaited him in the future was also unclear.
Only then did Suiren become fully aware. That the plan he did this could have ended up not good. What Kaen said could have happened, and after this maybe he'll be stranded in the middle of nowhere. Being a slave to anyone who can afford it.
Suiren gulped and then clenched his fingers. Trying to strengthen himself.
After walking for so long, at the end of the tunnel was visible as a flash of light and Suiren could feel the wind blowing through it. A familiar scent. The smell of salt and sun was smelled on his nose.
As it got closer to the end of the tunnel, the sudden light made it difficult for Suiren to open both eyes. When he managed to adapt to the bright light that came suddenly, before him lay a blue landscape that sparkled like jewelry.
Seas.
'So this mine empties into the sea….' Say Suiren in the heart.
At the edge of the pier made of wood, several ships were already lined up. The small ship is made of wood which is approximately only fit if boarded by five people.
The sudden ambush must have left the human trafficking syndicate unprepared. They should have just departed two days later, but since the Ginryuu Kingdom's forces had attacked the Empire's borders they would inevitably have to move their wares quickly.
“QUICK RIDE INTO BOAT!” the guards began to push the people and told them to get into the boat.
The crowd slowly split into small groups.
Anisha kept holding Suiren's hand tightly and vice versa.
"Little kids get together into one!" A guard shouted from the end of the pier.
Anisha's grip is getting stronger. He looked at Suiren with a gaze begging Suiren not to take off his grasp.
When the two of them reached the end of the pier, someone pulled Anisha.
"Can't you hear?! The little boy gathered together into one on that ship." He shouted while pointing towards the slightly larger ship. The little boys rode on the ship one by one.
"I-I don't want to be separated from my sister." Anisha said in a trembling voice.
"Please let him be with me!!!" pinta Suiren's.
They both hampered the entry of other victims into the boat and currently, it is the last thing a member of a human trafficking syndicate wants.
The guard looked at Suiren angrily and then grabbed his hair and raised his body with his rough hands. He then threw Suiren into a boat filled with four people.
"Perahu sudah terisi penuh, cepat jalan!" penjaga tadi menendang perahu dan mengisyaratkan agar dua orang penjaga yang sudah menaiki perahu bisa mendayung dengan cepat.
After that, the boat moved towards the open sea following the waves of the beach.
Suddenly, the sound of footsteps came from inside the gold mine.
Suiren turned his face towards the rumbling sound.
From within the gold mine, heavily armed troops in deep red uniforms sprang up. Merke immediately charged at the syndicate guards dressed in black. Fighting happened.
In the midst of the chaos, Suiren realized that the boat he was riding moved faster towards the open sea. The two people who rowed the boat were too focused to escape.
One of them turned his back on the victim who was riding a boat and the other turned his back on the open sea.
Suiren slowly in order not to draw attention took out the dagger that was still stored inside his boots. After successfully removing it, he then removed the dagger from its sheath.
He took a deep breath and threw it away. Sweaty hands. But he had to do something so that the boat he was riding on did not sail any further.
'One'
'Two'
'Three!!'
On the count of three, Suiren thrust the dagger he held towards the waist of the guard who was behind him.
"ARGHHHHH!!!" the guard was roaring in pain. Blood flowed out from where Suiren stuck his dagger.
"YOU!!!" the other guard yelled at Suiren and then stood up from his seat.
Suiren pulled out the dagger stuck in the waist of the previous guard and then stood up with both feet. As a result of his movement that arrived the boat became unstable and swayed.
He pointed his dagger at the guard. Even so he did not know paakh he would be able to fight the guard when he was not careless.
Slowly, the guard approached Suiren.
The wobble on the boat made Suiren stand unsteadily and the strong gusts of wind also did not help at all.
Suiren pulled out his dagger and charged towards the guard, hoping that he would hit his body. But unfortunately the luck did not come twice, the guard dodged and managed to avoid the stab of Suiren's dagger.
As fast as lightning, the guard brushed aside the dagger that Suiren held until it fell into the sea. He then pulled Suiren close to his body and draped his arm around Suiren's neck.
Suiren closed both eyes, hoping that whatever this guard was doing to him would not hurt.
Suddenly Suiren heard the sound of an object stuck near his ear. When he opened his eyes, an arrow stuck in the guard's head.
Suiren was still in the guard's arms and after that along with the fall of the guard's body, he fell into the sea.
