My Fiance Is The 2nd Male Lead

My Fiance Is The 2nd Male Lead
Naoist Dianthus

The next day, Suiren decided to go to Birmin Town Center in search of fresh air and a new atmosphere. He must rise from his grief, for while he is grieving, the world keeps turning.

“Sergei, I hope you will accompany me today as a friend. Not as a personal bodyguard.” Suiren told Sergei.

Sergei smiled and nodded his head. “Of course, Lady Suiren.”

The two walked down the town of Birmin and looked around at every shop that looked interesting.

Suiren felt the difference since the last time he came here, when no one recognized him. Right now, wherever he stepped, he always felt the gazes of people being directed at him and small whispers. It was not that Suiren was uncomfortable, it was just that he preferred it when no one cared about him.

“Sergei, I want to stop by that cafe and buy some cookies for Kyrie.” Said Suiren while pointing towards a cafe with an interior design dominated by light blue.

“Can I wait outside, Lady Suiren? I have never liked the smell of a cake that is so sweet stinging.” Sergei said with an eneg face.

Suiren looked at the bodyguard with a look of disbelief. “No one will believe that you hate sweet food with a face like that.”

Sergei just laughed in a forced tone.

When he entered the cafe, the smell of vanilla filled the room. A very pleasant sweet smell that makes anyone drool can drip.

Suiren approached the storefront and scanned every dessert displayed. Everything is beautiful and elegant, making these cakes look affectionate if they have to be eaten.

"Lady Themisree?" Someone called Suiren when he was busy choosing which cake he should bring home for Kyrie.

When he turned his head, Suiren found a familiar figure.

"Sir Dianthus." Reply Suiren with a small smile on his face.

"Something happens to meet you here." He said as he took his place beside Suiren.

Suiren refocused himself on the cakes displayed in front of him.

"Are you picking a cake for Duke Wisteria?" Ask.

Suiren nodded his head.

"Mmm, then, it looks like you should try chocolate cake and lemon pie. Uh! Maybe Duke Wisteria will also like madelline." Said Naois while pointing towards the cakes he mentioned earlier.

"What about the apple pie?" Ask Suiren. He felt attracted to apple pie that looked very beautiful and appetizing.

The Naoist scrunched his forehead and tried to remember. "I wouldn't recommend it, the last time I ate their apple pie, it tasted too dominated by cinnamon."

Suiren nodded his head. Then he asked the shopkeeper to wrap the cakes mentioned by the Naoists plus the Apple Pies that looked very tempting.

Naoist chuckled. "It's like you don't trust other people easily, huh?"

Suiren smiled in agreement to the Naoists. "Thank you, Sir Dianthus for the recommendation."

"Please, call me Naoist." The Naoists then opened the cafe door and let Suiren out first.

The two stood in front of the shop to talk for a moment.

"Ah, Sir Naois. I have to apologize to you. It seems my question to you at that time put you in a less pleasant position. At that time I did not know that you were Lady Narcissus' future husband." Suiren bowed his head.

"No, no! That's not a big deal at all." The Naoist looked uncomfortable with Suiren's attitude. "Please raise your head, Lady Themisree."

After that Suiren raised his head.

"Then, excuse me." Suiren said as he turned his body.

"Lady Themisree - tung"

The Naoist extended his hand towards Suiren's hair but before he managed to grab her hair, someone stopped his hand. The figure clasped the Naoist hand tightly to the point that the Naoist felt numbness in his wrist.

"ACK!!!" moans Naoists.

Suiren widened his eyes at what was happening before him at this moment.

"I'm just trying to pick up the leaves that stick to Lady Themisree's hair!!!" Naois screeched while enduring the pain. His once cheerful face turned pale as if his life had been reduced by Sergei's actions.

"Sergei, sir Naois is my friend!" Suiren tried to stop Sergei from breaking his wrist.

After which, Sergei released his grip and then gave the Naois a sharp look.

"I'm sorry for this misunderstanding, Lady Suiren." Sergei.

"Sir Naois I'm really sorry! I've made you uncomfortable twice when you've helped me." Suiren repeatedly bowed his body before the Naoists.

"Then, before there's another misunderstanding. I'd better go first "after which Suiren pulls Sergei's arm and walks away from the Naoists.

Suiren and Sergei walked away from the cafe and passed through several shops to get to the horse-drawn carriage.

"Sergei.. you're too overprotective.." said Suiren as he looked into Sergei's light green eyes.

"That's my duty, Lady Suiren."

Suiren sighed. "Haa. It seems like Sir Naois was also too friendly. It's like he doesn't care about boundaries."

He looked back at her and saw that they were the same distance from the original location.

The two then boarded a horse-drawn carriage to return to the Themisree residence.

The Wisteria residence...

"I don't really like this apple pie that much." Kyrie. "It was like eating cinnamon."

Suiren could not wait until dinner to ask Kyrie to try the cakes she bought from this afternoon.

"Haa. it seems like what sir Naois said is true." Suiren Mumbled.

"Sir Naoist?"

Suiren nodded and fed the chocolate cake piece to his mouth. "I didn't want to see him downtown, and he recommended these cookies to me."

Kyrie put away the box of cookies that Suiren had brought for her. "Sergei is with you, right?" Ask.

Suiren nodded. "Of course." He did not want to tell me what happened before. I don't know what Kyrie would have done if he had heard of it, he would have misunderstood.

“I've asked Madame Rosalind to come here in two days.” Kyrie extended her thumb towards Suiren's lips and rubbed the rest of the chocolate cake that was stuck at the tip of her lips. “To measure your body.”

Suiren tried not to react to what Kyrie was doing. “Measure my body?”

“Lady Narcissus wedding party will be held in less than 2 weeks, and you have no dress for the event.”

Suiren nodded and then rubbed his lips with a handkerchief so that Kyrie no longer had to clean the crumbs of cake from her lips.

“Is Madame Rosalind famous in Birmin?”

Kyrie laughed a little. “Madame Rosalind was famous throughout the Empire, but all this time her customers were only noble ladies. It makes sense if you never hear of it.”

Suiren nodded his head. After that he stood up and prepared to return to his bedroom.

“See you at dinner later.” Kyrie said before Suiren left her study.
