My Fiance Is The 2nd Male Lead

My Fiance Is The 2nd Male Lead
Second meeting with Crown Prince Frederick

Suiren woke up later than usual, he did not even have time to eat breakfast with his father. Seems

his body slightly caught a cold after his trip last night.

“Lady Suiren, Your father said that he will look forward to dinner with you later tonight.” Reina went into the tent with a tray of food and drink, and then she put the tray on a small table beside Suiren's bed.

After that Gilbert entered the tent. He wears a full uniform with insignia embedded in his uniform.

“Not usually you wake up late. Were you up last night?” ask Gilbert.

“I can't sleep because of mosquitoes.” Suiren replied while taking the sandwich from the tray and then biting it. It was horrifying how he could lie without batting an eye.

“I will be at the training ground today to train the imperial gold mine guard troops. If there's anything you can directly find me there.” Gilbert said as he walked out of the tent.

“Gilbert.” Call Suiren.

Gilbert stopped his steps and turned to look at Suiren. Her green eyes looked at Suiren's golden eyes.

“If I was in danger, you would definitely come and save me right?” ask Suiren.

“Of course. I will run to the end of the world if you are in danger.” The answer. “But why did you suddenly ask like that, Lady Suiren?”

Suiren shook his head and sipped the milk from the cup provided. “Nothing. I just wanted to ask.”

*****

The air at the border is different from the air at the capital. While the air on the border was light, the air in the Capital felt heavy. Maybe because the whole bustle rests on the capital.

After attending a tea banquet with Mother and Lady Serena Tagates, Crown Prince Frederick Heliathus immediately traveled to the eastern border of the empire. Her worries were not proven, her mother simply held a banquet to get to know the empress candidate better.

“Your Majesty, I have news that General Themisree has reached the eastern border since yesterday afternoon.” Claudia informs Frederick after receiving news of the transmission of magic in her ear.

Frederick did not respond. He continued to read the official files in his hands.

“Then Duke Wisteria also seems to be on the eastern border.” Claudia.

Frederick remained unmoved.

“Actually, the night after you confronted Empress Eleanor, someone saw Duke Wisteria visit the Empress's palace.” Claudia then recounted a fact she knew from one of her subordinates. “It seems, Empress Eleanor personally called Duke Wisteria.”

After his audience with Kyrie Wisteria and Suiren Themisree a while ago, He obviously did not expect his mother to call Kyrie again. Since her mother is a vengeful figure towards anyone who interferes with her plans, she thinks her mother will no longer ask Kyrie to do anything for her. But there are some things that only a Kyrie can do.

“Why do you think I called Duke Wisteria?” Frederick asked on the side to check the file in his hand.

Claudia was silent for a moment while thinking about the possibilities in her head.

“My book is hard to guess, right?” Frederick then said after seeing Claudia think hard.

Claudia may have been an elite knight who had far above average sword skills, but she was not good at strategy or politics. That was one of the reasons why Frederick let Claudia become his personal bodyguard. Claudia was unlikely to stab him from behind, in her head there was only loyalty towards her master.

Claudia just nodded. “How can Duke Wisteria help solve the problem in the imperial gold mine? Doesn't the gold mining area not fall into its jurisdiction?”

Frederick gave a faint smile to Claudia. “Entahlah. But as long as I know her, Kyrie can always make the impossible impossible impossible.”

Then the horse carriage stopped. Claudia decided to go down first to see the situation around the imperial army camp.

Through the window of the horse-drawn carriage, Frederick looked at the tents that had been neatly installed

with the imperial flag fluttering on every roof of the tent. Everyone is busy doing their own work. He saw the eastern border guard knights were running around here and there, some were practicing swords and some were doing physical training.

His eyes were fixed on the figure of the silver-haired girl who had just walked out of his tent. The girl looked right and left as if she was making sure that no one was watching her. After the girl was sure no one was watching her, she circled her tent.

Frederick couldn't possibly forget that glittering silver hair. There were only a handful of people in the Empire who were born with that snow-like hair color and one of them was owned by the Themisree family.

The Themisree family was a military family, although they did not have the title of noble of their position equal to the nobles in the Helianthus Empire.

Frederick then decided to get off his horse-drawn carriage and approached the girl.

The girl was not even aware of her presence from behind, she was busy tying a red rope at one of the legs of the tent.

“Lady Themisree.” Sapa Frederick's.

The girl was surprised not to play. “WAA!!” so surprised he reflexively screamed.

“I'm sorry for surprising you, Lady Suiren. I have no intention of making you stray like this.” Frederick quickly reached out his hand to help Suiren stand up.

Suiren then grabbed his helping hand while smiling awkwardly. After she stood up, she cleaned the back of her skirt that was hit by the ground. Then he bowed and saluted him.

“I'm quite surprised to find you in a place like this, Lady Themisree.” Frederick said with a smile. “Are you here with your fiancee?”

Suiren quickly brushed aside Frederick's words. “I'm here with my Dad, Your Majesty. Duke Wisteria came here with his own business.”

Frederick nodded small. His eyes were fixed on the red rope tied to one of the legs of the tent by Suiren earlier.

“I-This is because all tents look the same and I often get the wrong tent.” He said with a stammer. “I do not want to suddenly enter the tent where the knights are changing clothes, so I think tying the rope as a marker will be very helpful.”

Frederick laughed.

Suddenly from the direction of the horse-drawn carriage that Frederick was riding, Claudia returned in a hurry. “Your Majesty Frederick!” call him.

Frederick turned to look at his bodyguard.

“I searched you everywhere.” Claudia said while panting. “Meeting with General Themisree is almost started.”

“Alright Lady Themisree, there's a meeting I have to attend. Please say hello to Kyrie.” Frederick said as he walked away from Suiren. Suiren bowed and saluted.
