My Fiance Is The 2nd Male Lead

My Fiance Is The 2nd Male Lead
Second time

After his body splashed into the lake, Suiren released himself from the clutches earlier. The figure then floated down to the bottom of the sea with blood pouring from his head.

'Haa.. Is that right? Drowning again?'

'It turns out you were right Kaen. My plan is very bad.'

'If I knew I was going to drown again, I would definitely learn to swim…'

Suiren letting his body fall to the bottom of the sea as he subconsciously tried to swim would only exhaust his strength and further hasten his death. He still had little hope that his father or Gilbert would come to his aid.

Suiren decided to close both of his eyes. He was trying to remember the memories of his life. How he will miss his father. How he would miss Reina's tea. How she will miss Serena and her angelic smile. How he will regret the half-baked plan he has made.

Until the end, his father did not come to save him. So did Gilbert, though

he promised to save her. He put the two men in a difficult position. The position in which they had to choose between sacrificing loyalty to the imperial family or sacrificing themselves. He could not blame anyone for this stupid plan.

'Why am I so useless? Then I should just die, right?'

Seeing how the royal army managed to find a human trafficking syndicate up to here, it means that the imperial army was defeated by the Ginryuu Kingdom. In that case, Kaen must have also managed to find the head of the human trafficking syndicate, right?

'Haa.. Then I can go quietly. At least my stupid plan didn't fail completely.'

The oxygen in Suiren's body began to run out and Suiren grew tired of holding his breath. He then let out a breath and saw a clump of air coming out of his breath. His lungs ached like they were being suppressed by such a great force.

'Please put an end to this.' The ink in the heart.

Suiren's gaze slowly became blurred and he felt deja vu.

Then, just before his inspiration disappeared completely. He felt a hand curl around his waist. Pulls closer.

'Gilbert?'

Suiren opened both eyes and found a pair of familiar eyes. Purple eyes that looked worried. It wasn't Gilbert's eye.

'Why does this man always come at the right time?'

The figure pulled Suiren's body to grasp it and swim towards the surface.

"DOLL!!!" Suiren inhaled air after his head was no longer in the water.

Kyrie's hand was still holding Suiren.

"You seem to want to die, don't you?" kyrie asked sarcastically.

After that Kyrie led Suiren to swim to the edge of the pier. He then lifted Suiren's body.

Suiren tried hard to reach the end of the pier and lifted his heavy body. After successfully ascending to the dock Suiren rolled his body and stretched his body.

“UHUK UHUK!” Suiren coughed out water from his body.

His lungs are still hurting. Like burnout. This familiar feeling made Suiren tormented. He never wanted to repeat it again.

“I... should.. start...learn swimming.” Said Suiren breathlessly.

“Thank you.” Suiren. “Because it saved me again.”

Kyrie did not answer.

Sitting on the dock, they were both soaking wet. But the only one who felt the cold was Suiren because he had been underwater for a lot longer. His fingers looked shrunk because of the cold water.

Surrounding them, the Ginryuu Royal Army began to round up members of the trade syndicate by tying them to the coast. Human trafficking victims were also rescued. They disembarked from a small boat that was supposed to transport them and were directed to re-enter the mine by the Ginryuu Kingdom forces.

From the end of her eyes, Suiren could see Anisha and her mother had reunited. The two follow the direction of Ginryuu's forces and join a mob of human trafficking victims.

“Thank God Anisha is back with her mother,” Gumam Suiren. His voice sounded slightly trembling from the cold.

"How did you know I came here to kill the Third Prince of Ginryuu Kingdom?" ask Kyrie.

Suiren widened his eyes. "A-is Prince Kaen okay?"

"The answer to my question, Lady Suiren."

"I told you I know a lot about you."

Kyrie took a long breath. "How do you know so much about me?"

Suiren did not answer Kyrie's question. He just looked at Kyrie without saying anything. Then he decided to get up from his seat. "I'm cold and I'm not in the mood to answer your question, Duke Wisteria." he walked past Kyrie who was still sitting.

Kyrie's hand pulled Suiren's wrist and stopped her from stepping. "Don't you want to find out why I was in Themisree's house the day you drowned? Or why did I save you?"

Kyrie then got up from her seat. "If you answer my question honestly, I will answer your question honestly as well."

"Then, would you believe me if I said I could see the future?" answer Suiren. "I can see the future, that's why I found out that you're here in order to carry out the mission given by Empress Eleanor."

"But that doesn't explain why you know my trauma and my family's secrets."

"That's a different matter."

"That means, you saw me kill the Third Prince of Ginryuu Kingdom?" Kyrie.

Suiren nodded.

Kyrie then pulled Suiren towards her and twisted her body until the two exchanged positions, Kyrie facing the Ocean and Suiren turned her back to the ocean. After that, Kyrie pushed Suiren's body towards the sea. "Can you see that this is going to happen, Lady Suiren?"

Suiren closed his eyes but he did not fall into the sea again. Kyrie held her in one hand by grasping Suiren's upper arm.

Suiren. He could not move or do anything. He could only stare at Kyrie's face with a shocked and fearful look that Kyrie replied with an annoying grin. His hand gripped Kyrie's arm firmly, hoping that he would not fall into the sea.

"I didn't kill the Third Prince, Lady Suiren" he said with his trademark grin. "Not in this life."

Suiren was puzzled by this information he had just received. What does it mean to not in this life?

“So, Lady Suiren. Between you looking into the wrong future or you lying to me.”
