“Groomed.” Kyrie Wisteria appeared in front of the Nightingale Parlor as if it was not a big thing. He was wearing full official clothes and an amethyst gold brooch that matched the color of his eyes. It was a pity that this handsome man became the second main male character and did not get his happy ending.
His arrival made him the center of attention. People stared at the two of them while whispering.
It was fortunate that Serena had gone home first otherwise the situation would be more awkward than it is today.
Without further ado, Suiren rode the enormous horse carriage and sat down in front of the coachman. Kyrie then climbed up and sat across from him.
“Where are we going?” suiren asked as the carriage walked.
“Imperial Palace.” Answer's short.
Suiren could not help but feel nervous. This would be his first time setting foot in the Imperial Palace.
After that silence covered the train. Suiren could only hear the sound of the carriage rattling as it passed through the uneasy road.
‘Agazing once,’ Thought.
“I want to thank you for last night.” Suiren began. "and also the time you saved me at the lake."
“Of course.” Kyrie said with a smile on her face. After that he looked back at the window and looked like he was dissolving in his own mind.
“So, what will we do in Imperial Palace?”
This time without turning her head, Kyrie answered Suiren's question. “I received a summons from the Imperial Family. Related to our engagement. Looks like they want an explanation.”
Suiren just nodded. “So, what should I do?”
“Nothing. You just have to shut up and agree to all my words.” The answer.
Inside Suiren was irritated. Everyone decides things without their consent and no one lets them get involved in the decision making. This is his life and he has the right to have a say in his choice.
“Actually there's something I want to ask you, Duke Wisteria.”
“Hmm?” kyrie.
“Why were you around the lake when I drowned? You are not currently having an official visit to the Themisree residence that day.”
“It just so happens that I was there.”
The answer was not at all answering Suiren's question.
“How did you get in and get through the tight guard of the Themisree residence?”
“You call that a strict guard?” his reply. “Someone managed to trespass into your residence and push you into the lake, and you call that a strict guard?” Kyrie said with half a laugh.
“that means you were there when someone pushed me?” Suiren began to feel that there was something strange that men were trying to cover up in front of him.
“Duke Wisteria, I hope you won't feel offended if I say that maybe you
which pushed me towards the lake.”
Suddenly the car stopped. The view outside shows the splendor of the Imperial palace.
“Honey once, we've reached Lady Suiren.” Kyrie with a smile that sucks. It sucks but still good looking. "You need to keep your questions."
After that he went down first than Suiren and stretched out his hand to help Suiren down. As she descended the stairs of the carriage, Kyrie brought her lips closer to Suiren's ear and whispered, “Be kind, Lady Suiren. If you don't want our skit exposed.”
Contrasting with the warm breath that touched his ears, he felt cold to the bone to the point that his hair stood on end.
