Ella waved her hand at Terry who walked into the classroom with her uniform and black backpack. Then he patted the chair next to her so that Terry would sit next to her.

Ella's warm smile made all the nervousness and cynical look she received from earlier disappear.

He wanted to tell Ella that along the corridor to his classroom, he did not end up hearing whispers from the students.

'Really disappointing. I thought he was a good boy.'

'Have you seen the picture? he thought his body was that good to the point that he passed it on to his girlfriend.'

'How did he come to school after what happened? Really mental steel.'

As he sat down, Terry let out a long, heavy breath. He did not expect everyone to suddenly be a scandal that befell him within a week, but he did little hope that they would not overtly show it.

“Time will heal everything.” Terry muttered to himself. He repeated his words to himself like a mantra.

“Not to be too thoughtful. You're not the first to have such a scandal, and obviously you won't be the last. Hang on a little, someday you'll look back and laugh at this.” Ella tried to calm her best friend.

Terry just nodded. Although he was not sure someday he would remember this scandal and laugh. He was not even sure if there was a moment in the future he would make peace with himself and forgive himself for the foolish actions he committed. One action. One pin on his phone screen. One thing was enough to ruin his life.

“From dizziness, you better read this novel.” Ella hands Terry her phone. The screen shows an app for reading a novel that is opening a page that says ‘Serena’ in the middle.

“Internet new novels. The storyline is promising and quite fun.” Ella. “There are only twenty-five chapters, but I think this will make it to my favorite novel list.”

“Tell me the details.”

“Hmm.., the main character is a noble princess named Serena Tagates. He falls in love at first sight with a Crown Prince in the Empire where he lives, Crown Prince Ferdinand Helianthus. Later, Serena was selected as one of the candidates for the Imperial Empress along with four other candidates.” Ella's Story.

“So this is Romance ?”

Ella nodded. “But interesting is the second male main character, although it is still unconfirmed but I am sure he is the second male main character. Her name is Kyrie Wisteria, a Duke who got her title when she was nine years old. She is Serena's childhood friend who has loved her since they first met.”

“I thought you didn't like romance novels?” asked Terry while raising his eyebrows.

“Indeed, but this one is an exception. I love the intrigue that the Duke has put in to get his childhood friend back. He is very cunning and attractive.”

Ella was very picky about what she was going to read. Normally he likes to read novels with thriller or action genre, only a handful of romance genre novels that he likes. That means, the novel he recommended earlier is a novel that has passed the selection and is certainly guaranteed quality.

Terry nodded his head and opened his phone. “I'll try reading it.”

Then the bell rang and the class began.
