Rai Universe
CHAPTERS 15. New Friends That Give Fun.

Esta was stunned at the classroom door when she saw Rai reading a book on her desk. Today, Rai is entering school again. With a bold step, Esta walked up and sat down at her desk. At first glance he glanced at Rai who seemed to be unconcerned about his arrival.

Carefully, Esta stuffed her bag into the desk drawer while biting her lips. I don't know why it felt so awkward this morning.

“Rai, sorry.” Whisper Esta later. “I never should have told you. You got sick because of me.” Rai just shut up. He nodded and stayed focused on his book.

Esta sighed softly as Rai did not respond at all. Yeah, looks like the guy has decided that he doesn't care about her. That's Esta's conclusion for now. A little bit relieved, but also disappointed. It seems Rai will not be responsible for him. Yes already.

The first lesson is over and the students are waiting for the second lesson. As always, when there is free time, Esta will be busy writing in her binder book. Like this time, Esta was pouring her ideas on the binder paper. He focused until something stopped him from writing.

Rai thrust a piece of paper at him. It says there,

Phone number:

Full address:

Esta who did not understand what the paper was for, turned to Rai who was looking at her as well.

“What is this?”

“Write there.” Firmly Rai with his trademark cold tone.

Despite not understanding what Rai's true purpose is, Esta still filled the paper as requested by Rai. When finished, Rai immediately pulled the paper and folded it and put it in his pocket.

Esta kept frowning her forehead. Rai's attitude still feels cold and full of limitations. Nothing changed from the man even though he was pregnant with his child.

Like baisa, when the break time arrives, Esta faithfully follows Tina and her other friends to just ‘hungkong’ in the field tribune volly. Especially if not to see Rai and his friends who are playing there.

Esta's vision became blurred as sunlight hit her binder paper and made her glare. He chose to step aside and sit on a bench under a tree beside the field. There, he continued to write.

“What's busy writing, anyway?” A voice surprised Esta. He looked up and found Akash standing in front of him. The man's body blocked the sunlight peering through the trees. It gives rise to a silhouette with a glowing light background on the Akash.

Esta immediately closed her binder book and smiled at Akash. “Not written anything, kok.” Answer Esta. He was ashamed to read it to others.

Akash chuckled and sat down next to Esta.

“By the way, thank you yesterday for bringing me home.” Esta just remembered that yesterday she had not had time to say thank you to Akash.

“Sama-sama. Why not join another?”

“Neg. There's hot.”

A condition where this first happened to Esta. There was a person sitting next to her and talking to her, other than Tina.

“You work at Pakde Karya stall, yes?” Akash was looking for the talk for them.

“Kok know?”

“I often eat there.”

“Oh yes? How come I never saw you? Who are you there with?”

“Sama Danu, when I get there, it's not you who wait. You're busy yourself.”

“Hehe. The danu? Danu who is it?”

“Sepupuku.”

“Oooh..”.

“This you, this person what how?”

“Always aloof. Fun and busy yourself.”

Wasn't it! Not because Esta is happy with her solitude. It was more to, he escaped from loneliness because no one ever thought it existed.

“Tumben you menhatiin.”

“Udah long time I'm watching you.”

Esta immediately turned to Akash who chose to look straight ahead.

“Why?”

“Kok why? Yes, because you attracted my attention.”

“That's what I mean, I'm silent, but why even attract your attention?”

“Open, gone. Difficult in the description.” Akash's face blushed in embarrassment.

“What's hard? Stay clear doang.”

“Ya just hard.”

“As far as you are, deh. How not to play with your friends?”

“so hot. Can't stand me.” Answer Akash. He took off his pack of snacks and put them on him and Esta. He also brought orange drinks in a bottle. “Nih, eat.” Bargainly.

“Em, thanks.”

“Enak not sitting with Rai?” It seems Akash still wants to linger chatting with Esta. Although their topic of conversation is not important at all.

“Tasty boy. Pendiem his son. By the way if there is a need aja.” Honest Esta.

“Hahaha. He is his son. We are the same, so don't be surprised. But he really is his son of attention. His attention was detail until small things.”

“Ooh.” Actually Esta did not care at all about the story about Rai. He only felt as comfortable as Akash came and accompanied him while having a light chat. He felt like he had a friend who was really a friend.

He knows that some people look strangely at them, but he does not care as long as it does not harm others.

Akash is a very nice boy. He had so many jokes that he laughed out loud. This feeling of happiness, maybe for some people is a trivial thing. But for Esta, it was an amazing experience. It's nice when someone asks you to talk and makes you feel like you're not being ignored. This was even more fun as Tina began to assume her presence.

*****

Akash Ahmad, has long paid attention to his quiet class girl named Semesta. The girl who was more often called iced tea, so caught his attention. The girl was not much of a whimper and was never flashy from her other classmates. Moreover, Esta had a very sweet smile. But, dear, he rarely smiled.

Akash had always secretly watched Esta, but he did not have enough courage to show her small attention.

Yesterday, Akash was happy not to play because he was able to piggyback on Esta when they went to visit Rai at her boarding house. His heart beat all the way. He kept smiling behind the full face helmet he was wearing. Somehow he felt that they would have a good relationship after that.

Therefore, today he ventured to approach Esta when she was alone in the park beside the field. He really wants to be with Esta because it makes him happy. Yeah, for a while, they'll be friends first.

The small talk ended when the school bell rang. He looked at Esta who then grabbed her binder book from the side and stood up. Ah, it feels like time is passing. They don't even seem to be telling much.

“You want to be here?” Esta's question made her daydream crumble.

“Oh, yes. Hehee.” Akash immediately stood up and aligned the steps with Esta.

Even until they get into class, Akash still keeps raving about anything that can be made into talk.
