CHAPTERS 20. Forcing Yourself To Be Comfortable With Solitude.
Early in the morning like the previous morning, Rai remained busy preparing her school books and putting them in a bag. Checking all the housework is there still something that has not been done or what. He also did not forget to wash his motorcycle and do his hair. The performance was perfect as usual and Rai was ready to leave for school.
But there is something different about Rai today. This morning, he did not go to LB school but headed towards Esta's boarding house first. Arriving in front of Esta's room, he waited long enough for her to worry that she would be late.
But after a few minutes of waiting, Esta did not appear as well. Finally he ventured to ask the boarding mother who said that Esta had left early this morning.
In a fit of annoyance, Rai sends Esta a message.
Rai: “Where?”
Esta: “Udah at school. Why?”
Rai: “Kok not waiting for me? We leave together.”
Esta: “Don't want any. Do you want to announce everyone?”
Rai: “Ya cook you way to school?”
Esta: “Udah regular, times.”
Until the class, Rai still put on a cold face, even to Esta who is now legally his wife. He just glanced at me while sitting on the chair and put the bag into the drawer.
Esta who was originally about to greet Rai, finally undoes her intentions when she feels a different aura from Rai. Actually it is not different, it is Rai's original attitude as long as he knows.
Throughout the first lesson, Esta kept thinking about why Rai's attitude turned cold on her. He thought maybe Rai was angry because he went to school first. So, Esta just let it go and didn't care.
When the break arrived, Tina suddenly approached Rai's table and handed Rai a gift box. The box was wrapped in a beautiful pink ribbon.
“Met birthday, Rai.” Said Tina with a face that blushed in embarrassment.
Esta just looked at Tina and Rai alternately. He had no idea that today was Rai's birthday. Worth it, there was also someone who put a gift in Rai's drawer. He didn't notice it.
Even when Rai was busy chatting with his friends in the volleyball field while joking, there were only girls who approached and gave gifts to him. Maybe you could say that Esta is the only person who doesn't know Rai's birthday.
At the break this time, Esta was happy because she could buy food in the cafeteria. That's because two servings of fried rice that Rai bought last night, all given to Esta. So his breakfast allowance didn't come out and he could go to the cafeteria.
Esta's life was full of calculations just to get on with life. Versatile refrain even to buy a bowl of meatballs during the lesson break.
This time, Esta wanted to pamper her stomach a little. He ordered a bowl of meatballs in the cafeteria and was preparing to eat them even though he was sitting alone and no one was accompanying him. His friends were busy congratulating Rai.
But he was a little surprised when there was Akash who suddenly sat in front of him. The man put his meatball bowl on the table and smiled at Esta and sat down sweetly. Esta frowned in surprise staring at Akash.
“Eating alone.” Seloroh Akash who began to put sauce and soy sauce on the meatballs.
“Why?”

“That is important to be full.”
“By the fact that I rarely see you in the canteen like this.”
Esta just smiled pias. He wanted to answer that he had no money, but he was ashamed to admit it.
“Any what?”
“You're the only guy who wants to eat with people like me.” Esta's words spread her gaze to the people who looked at them strangely.

“Ah. You have a lot of questions. I'm confused he replied.” Esta chose to start feeding the meatballs to her mouth.
“Ngapain cares the same what others see? There is no need to be disturbed as long as we are comfortable with ourselves. Some people are comfortable with a lot of stuff. Some people are comfortable fitting alone. No need to take a headache.”
But that's not how Esta feels. He is comfortable among many friends. Unfortunately, he has no place between them. And in the end he forced himself to be comfortable in solitude and get used to it.
“You're not ashamed to eat the same fat and ugly people as me?”

Esta smiles. He said so not because he really wanted to say that or he didn't respect himself. He just wanted to add chatter material between them so as not to be awkward.
“Have you been such a wise man all this time?”

“Hahaha. By the way, why not join your friends? Said Rai's birthday today.”
“The date is indeed today. But we usually make it tomorrow or the day after tomorrow or even a week later. You know, he's the most popular guy here. Today he was busy receiving gifts from his fans. Rai does not really care about his birthday, just us as a friend yes cook aja aja so.” Akash.

They were engrossed in chatting to the point of being surprised by the sound of the bell while their food had not yet been exhausted. Both Esta and Akash immediately finished their meal. Akash finished first and immediately paid in the cafeteria.
“Udah on pay.” Said the cashier's mother when Esta was about to pay for her food.
“Udah I paid. Ayok, game.” Pekik Akash from the canteen stairs.
There was no time to ask or protest to Akash. Esta just ran small to catch up with Akash. Again he forgot that there was a fetus in his stomach.
“Still on payin.”
“Sama-sama. Later if you want to pay for yourself. Not to mention going up to the 4.” floor Akash reasoned. But he silently smiled meaningfully.
“Sometimes replace me who treat you.”
“Oke.”
When Esta and Akash enter the classroom simultaneously while laughing. They did not escape the astonished gazes of their friends. They wonder why Akash suddenly became familiar with Esta when all this time they were like a distance. Same as the others.
Even after sitting in her chair, Esta could not hide her happiness. He continued to smile while taking out the textbook from inside the drawer. For a moment, he turned to Rai who did not care about him. The man just glanced at it while reading a book.
Esta was still confused to interpret Rai's attitude to her. Why was that man not talking to her today? It was very different from last night, when Rai was babbling and telling him a lot of things.
