CHAPTER 74. Time, Not Just To Wait for Someone to Return.
Esta finished her cry in the embrace of the salamah before forcing herself to calm down and followed Rai to the room. But before entering, he paused for a moment in front of the door to calm down. Only after feeling a little calm did he open the door and enter into it.
Esta was stunned and her footsteps froze for a moment after she closed the door. It turned out that Rai had been waiting for him and was directly hugging him from behind as soon as he entered the room.
Rai hugged Esta very tightly. He wrapped his hands around Esta's waist and drowned her face in the girl's neck.
“I love you so much, Ta. Can't you change your decision?”
Esta was holding back her crying so as not to slide back out. “Can't, Rai.”
“I will not be able to release you like gini. I can't live without you, Esta.”
“Can. Youcan. You can definitely.”
“You're selfish. You don't think about my feelings.”
“Sorry that I'm selfish. But I'm doing this for myself. Please, help me.”

“I won't ask you to apologize to me. I realize how big your darling is to me.”

It seems that Rai is no longer able to change Esta's stance to not part. He realized that and increasingly tightened his embrace.
“I helped settle ya.” Tawar Esta's. He still did not dare to look at Rai because he was afraid he would not be strong. Slowly he removed the circle of Rai's hands from his stomach and walked up to the wardrobe.
Rai seemed to be letting out a small breath. His gaze stared at Esta who was now busy with her suitcase and clothes. It seems he still has to obey Esta's desire to separate. Even if it means he will feel pain, but at least it will make Esta happy.
Seeing Esta return to being him, it was already more than enough for Rai. Even if it means they really have to separate.
“It wants to be brought, no?” Esta's Tanya showed me a favorite volleyball shirt of Rai.
“No need. It won't be made there either.” Reject Rai. He sat on the bedside watching Esta tidy up her things.
Heavy-hearted. I don't know if Rai can take Esta away from him. Clearly, his heart was in a mess because he felt unwilling.
Same with Esta. The girl was just trying to look tough in front of Rai. His heart was also in pain. He hopes that this sacrifice will be worth what he will face in the future.
“I ask one thing for you.” Rai said later.
“What?” Esta asked who was still busy with luggage and clothes.
“Iya. I will not break up contact with you.”
“We must keep communication. Promise?” Rai is asking for certainty.
Esta looked at Rai. “He-em, I promise.”
Thats enough. That was enough for Rai. He smiled because he felt there was still hope to return with Esta.
“Wait for me yes, Ta. Wait for me back.”
“Why?”
The question made Rai approach Esta and return to embrace her.
“You're My Semest, so promise me that you'll wait for me no matter how long. After my education, you are the first person I will meet. Promise me, Ta.” Lirih Rai's.
I don't know. Is Esta worthy of keeping that promise? They were young and the road that lay before them was still long. The future is not just waiting for someone to come back. Esta also has to focus on her own life.
Esta just shut up. He did not dare to answer Rai's promise to him. He was afraid he would not be able to keep it. He was afraid he would hope for that promise. He was afraid that Rai would not return to him after he hoped. Because Esta knows right, time, it can't be predicted.
Time can make a person forget everything. Time can make people hate in an instant. And time can also make Rai and Esta like that later. One thing is certain, nothing can be expected when two humans are in a distance. Because time will take over all their happy memories.
Their relationship is wonderful for Rai. But not beautiful for Esta. During this time, Esta always covered feelings of anxiety and shame when walking or adjacent to Rai. He felt inferior especially when people looked at them strangely. As if to say, they were not a suitable match. They look weird when both of them.
No matter how he tried not to care about the rumors, but whose name is human, Esta still has a heart that can feel. Because of that Esta felt very difficult when she had to adjust. And again, the prince never chose such a ugly girl to be his wife. Or the fairy tale will not end perfectly and happily.
“I ask that you stay here with Grandma. I'm picking Grandma with you. You have no family, and I can't imagine you're living alone out there.”
“Iya, I understand.”
That's not Esta's promise. He has been thinking far ahead. And there's no way she'll be living with her ex-husband's family after he parted ways with Rai. It will make him more shameless and do not know himself.
No matter how good the Rai family was, they were still only strangers who had just met. And he could not take his life to them. That is if he still has heart and feelings.

“Iya. I slept there. Very noisy.” Hardik Esta's. He buttoned the completed suitcase he packed and then put it near the closet.
Rai didn't bring much stuff. He only brought as necessary. The other needs will be sent after when Rai has arrived there.
Throughout the night, Rai did not let go of his embrace of Esta. He wanted to hug his wife for the last time before they actually separated. So too with Esta. He was satisfied to drown his face in Rai's chest. Sipping the fragrance of Rai's body until his chest was filled with the scent of the man.
Letting go of each other turns out to feel this sick. It was almost as painful as when Esta lost her baby. Not yet complete his sincere to let go of the baby, now he must release Rai from his embrace.
Hopefully this is worth it. Hopefully it will end well for each of them. His relationship with Rai is a lesson he will not get anywhere. Together with Rai, he can show the weak side that he has been hiding. Along with Rai, he doesn't have to look strong and be fine. And together with Rai, he understands the real meaning of love and loss.
And the smile of willingness adorned the sleep of the two until the morning greeted.
