“Sunny morning.”
Regina sipped the hot coffee she had just brewed. His eyes framed with black petals like a panda had started to open wide. For several days he had no contact with the outside world because he was busy investigating a sadistic murder case that killed one family, including conducting surveillance (reconnaissance) against an old house that allegedly has a close relationship with the perpetrators. Fortunately, at dawn, he and his team managed to catch two young men who were eventually designated as suspects in the case.
“The sleepiness,” Regina said as she yawned. He started to get annoyed with something stuck to the corner of his eye and picked it up with the tip of his middle finger.
“Go home a minute. Take a shower and rest first. Don't sleep here. It's an office, not an inn,” said Iptu Nyoman, his supervisor at Sat Reskrim, who was looking for coffee because it smelled the aroma of Regina's coffee.
“If you give me a holiday, I will go home. But if not, I'd better be here,” Regina replied with a smile.
“I told you, look for a boarding house or rental house near here. Why do you have to stay out of town?”
“Please you yourself who spoke to my mother.”
Iptu Nyoman could only silently stare at him. He did not have good words to reply to his subordinate's words. “But at least you should take a shower. If you dress up a little, maybe you can win the Princess Indonesia contest.”
Regina laughs. But the compliment did not grow her intention to take a bath or simply cleanse her body. He let his boss continue his search for coffee in the kitchen and walked towards the outside door. His steps stopped in front of the television screen. Some of his juniors were seriously watching a news event.
“Exciting news what happened these few days?” tanyakanya.
“About the complainant, Mom,” replied Bripda Dion while pointing at the television. “It was his lawyer. She went viral due to a mispronouncement in front of the press.”
“Si snitch?” Regina was curious about the nickname. He immediately stood in front of the television and joined Bripda Dion. “Who is he?”
“Lho, I don't know, huh? At first he was just accused of being a drug courier. During a press conference conducted by the local police, he complained that he had been tortured during the investigation. He thought by doing that, he could be free. It turns out some time later he was suspected of being involved in the murder of Mischa Radjasa, the young artist.”
“If he is really tortured, it is only natural that he complains. No need to give the title of complainant to him just because what he complained was the police,” said Regina. He looked back at the television with regret for not following such an interesting case. He wants to know more about the ‘pengadu’. “What's the name?”
“Abimanyu Alexander.”
Regina suddenly dropped her coffee cup to the surprise of the people in the room. His eyes widened like he was looking at a creepy monster. After that, it was seen his hands trembling and his forehead sweating, making the anxious co-worker who was looking.
“What did that bastard do?”

The Polresta canteen still looks deserted. It's not time for lunch yet. There were only a few officers who were sitting relaxed while drinking soda mixed with milk. It seems they are discussing something serious, though not very important.
“I didn't expect that the complainant had any connection with Regina,” said one of the police officers with the name Koko on his chest.
“By the way about the complainant, I remembered the story about him from my friend who served in polsek,” said another policeman named Togar. “Since the past he has always exhibited his knowledge of the law.”
“What happened?”
“She was at odds with a parking attendant. So, he was carrying passengers and the passenger asked to stop by at a minimarket. He waited for his passengers on the bike for some time. When the passengers had finished shopping and they were preparing to leave, the parking attendant asked for parking money and he refused. That's where the commotion happened. In fact, the parking attendant almost punched him.”
“Then, he was hit?”
“Cannot. It just so happened that my friend passed by and tried to mediate with them. You know what he said? According to the law, parking is a state in which the vehicle stops and is abandoned by the driver. So, at that time he was not parking his vehicle so it is not mandatory to pay parking money.”
All the officers who heard the story shook their heads inexhaustible, about the thousand dollars, someone dared to cause a commotion to discuss the contents of the law.
“When I was in samsat, I also saw him acting,” continued another policeman named Richard. “That time he was paying motor tax. He must pay a fine for his offence caught on electronic ticket camera or his STNK will be blocked. But she rejected it.”
“First, he claimed to have never received a letter confirming the violation. After investigation, the letter never arrived because the address is not clear. Second, the offense is passing the road markings at the traffic lights. But, he considers it not a violation on the grounds there is no boundary line there.”
“Lho, really no?”
“It should be there, but it's faded so it's not visible anymore. Even because of that, he threatened to sue the government and related agencies for failing to provide decent public facilities so that it could threaten the safety of road users.”
“Finally?”
“This is interesting. He still paid the fine, but put a look of disdain to the rest of the police there. Surprisingly, we all feel inferior because of that expression.”
Back they were head-scarves.
“Said my friend in the police station, he was already known as the enemy of the police. If they see it on the street, they will pretend not to see because they do not want to cause problems with it,” added Togar.
“Seeing from his behavior, he must have hated the police a lot. Hence, I was surprised when Regina's mother called her ..”

“Why did I say that stupid thing?!”
Indira sleeps her head to the Trans Metro bus window. He recalled what happened yesterday, when he said something stupid in front of the media. Now his foolish words have spread throughout the country. If he could, he wanted to immerse his face in his bed for a few days. However, today he has to accompany his client in the examination.
This was the first day he actually carried out his duties as Abhimanyu Alexander's lawyer. The memory of the stupidity he did yesterday did make him stressful. But he prefers to think about it because he is much more distressed when given his status as a legal adviser than the person who has been the most frequent topic of news over the past week.
The Trans Metro bus stops at a bus stop. This is the Indira destination stop. He also rushed down. Just getting out of the public vehicle, he was greeted by a scene that made his feelings more worried, namely the Polresta office. His stomach is starting to feel heartburn.
Is there any sign of a meteor falling into that spot?
Indira looked up at the sky for a few tens of seconds. Only the blue sky decorated with white clouds. There's nothing different. That means he has to get into the building. He stepped back to the entrance. A statue of a child dressed in police clothes welcomed his arrival.
He met a friendly-faced policeman. After delivering his point and showing him a power of attorney by the name of Abhimanyu Alexander as the author, the police escorted him to the interrogation room and asked him to wait. Indira complied and sat in front of the room in question.
Moments later, the friendly police informed him that the prisoner's car carrying Abi had just arrived. After saying thank you, Indira stood up and prepared to welcome her clients.
In the midst of his waiting, he was surprised by the presence of a woman who suddenly stood next to him, as if waiting for Abi with him. His appearance was like a rocker with a black leather jacket wrapped in a white shirt as a top. At the bottom, he wears ripped jeans with a tear in the knee as well as women's workboots in matching color with his jacket. Increasingly angry because of the sunglasses that adorn his face. He is more perfect with a beautiful face and a tall body. Indira who was standing next to him felt the difference of earth and sky with that woman.
“You're Abi's lawyer, huh? Introduce, I'm Regina,” said the woman. Indira who felt the need to return the introduction raised her hand because she thought the woman wanted to regret it. Apparently not.
“True, I'm Indira.”
“Please take care of that jerk well.”
Not to mention Indira finished understanding the intent of the woman's words, she heard the sound of footsteps from the end of the hall. A man dressed in orange with his hands cuffed walked in accompanied by several policemen. His body was firm with broad shoulders and heavy hands. His eyes glared sharply as he looked ahead. Even his posture was more gallant than the policemen who escorted him.
Indira waved as a notification of his presence. However, Abi did not see it. His client was staring to the side, towards Regina. Indira also ends up staring at the rocker woman while wondering about her relationship with Abi.
“You know him?” indira asked without a sound, only lip movements and eye and index finger cues pointing at Regina.
Not to mention that Abi understood the signal given by Indira, something happened that was very surprising, both for Indira and for the policemen who were escorting, he said, as the woman shouted towards Abi while waving her hand in a coquettish style.
“My husband!”
