First trial with the accused Milky Way

Indira was nervous. He received a greater attention than the accused. This is due to the frenetic news about him related to his journey to be able to sit in this court room as a legal advisor to the Milky Way. Plus this morning the lawyer Okan Katalis officially filed a complaint on suspicion of misconduct committed by Indira to the honorary board of advocates.

“Based on the previously described points of exception, so I as a legal advisor to the accused Milky Way plead with His Majesty the judges to decide the intervening decision with a verdict in principle stating as follows: One, one, accept and grant a memorandum of objection or exception from the defendant's legal counsel to the fullest extent. Two, stating the indictment of the public prosecutor with the registration number of the case 421/Pid.B/2023/PN Dgkt dated August 1, 2023 is null and void. Three, establishing the examination of the accused is not continued. Four, acquitted the accused of all charges. Lima, ordered the public prosecutor to release the accused from custody. Six, restoring the right of the accused in terms of the ability of his position of dignity and dignity as before. Seven, charge the state. Or, if Your Majesty thinks otherwise, please make a fair verdict. At the end of this note of objection, let me quote a sentence uttered by Edmund Burke, an Irish statesman, writer, orator, political theory, philosophy, and so on, in one of his speeches in Bristol in 1780: Bad laws are the worst sort of tyranny - Bad law is a kind of tyranny. Through this court\, we expect fair law enforcement as proof of the absence of tyranny in this country\, and that the good people who are proven to have fought for the rights of many like our clients do not get the criminalization of the law from the parties who have power in this country. Thus we read the note of this objection at the state court of Dragokarta on Tuesday\, August 1, 2023. For your attention and the grant of this objection note\, we thank you.”

At the end of his note reading of objections, Indira mentions the date of the day and his full name and title. The presiding judge asked the defendant of the Milky Way about whether or not there was a response to be given and the Milky Way replied that there was none.

The expressions of the audience in the courtroom looked tense, let alone the public prosecutor team. The perception that Indira had just read was very clear and rummaged through the indictment they had previously submitted. Even Indira shook her head when reading it. Yes, he increasingly admired Abi who composed the exception, including a cover that he thought was very touching.

“Before this trial resumes, we would like to make it clear to the public, especially to the accused, that this trial is not affected by anything. We as a judiciary do not have any political tendencies. No intervention from any side. If indeed in the trial later You are proven guilty in the eyes of the law, You will be convicted according to the error. But, if from the evidence presented is not enough to prove you committed a criminal offense as has been accused, by law, you must be released.”

Indeed, in addition to the negative views he received from some parties, especially from colleagues, Indira's behavior that caused irregularities in various cases received positive comments from most people. Plus some experts justify the existence of such irregularities. And of course, they attribute the whole awkwardness to the name once mentioned by Indira, namely Mr. Jireh.

As in this case, many people who initially blasphemed the Milky Way, now switched perceptions. They began to think that there was a party who deliberately wanted to bring down the Milky Way in order to thwart his candidacy for governor, and most people thought it was Mr. Jireh, or his theory of cliches was one of the gubernatorial candidates.

For this reason, the panel of judges felt it necessary to emphasize that they were clean from all influences, especially because in the memorandum of objection read by Indira just now again implies this.

Moments later, after the panel of judges had discussed, the presiding judge argued that it took them a long time to consider the by-laws so they would have to postpone the hearing for up to three days to prepare for the verdict. Then, the presiding judge knocked on the hammer as a sign that the day's trial was over.

“Good work. Good thing I hired you,” whispered the Milky Way before being taken by the attendant to return to the rutan.

“At least I was also lucky to be paid three times the rate of Okan Katalis,” Indira replied with a smile.

Outside the courthouse, Indira was immediately greeted by reporters who wanted him to give an opinion about the trial.

“How did you respond to the trial just now?” ask a reporter.

“Very good. At first I was nervous, but after starting to read the exception, everything went as I expected.”

“Whatever the result, the important thing is that the trial was not held on this Sunday. Gear 5th Luffy will air that day,” Indira said referring to her beloved One Piece anime. “Home. I'm sure the judge will make a fair decision.

Indira's good performance at the conference brought her to the top of the topic. No doubt, many people think that he really is a great lawyer. Although his age is still young and his experience in the world of advocates can be said to be as long as corn, he has been equated with famous lawyers.

The discussion about him inevitably dragged the name of Abhimanyu Alexander as the client who first made him known as a potential lawyer. Many experts who analyze why Indira failed to free Abhimanyu Alexander from charges as a drug courier, even though he managed to prove the charge of killing Mischa wrong.

And the discussion also spread to the existence of Abhimanyu Alexander. Suddenly, a sensational artist who had just been released from the Maharaja's courtyard revealed that Abhimanyu Alexander had vanished suddenly from the Emperor's lap about two weeks ago. The revelation immediately became viral news. They attributed it to Indira's earlier remarks about her difficulty in meeting with Abhimanyu Alexander. Finally, many parties urged the prison officer to show his latest whereabouts.

“Why did you meet Arya Topaz Gumilang? Wouldn't it be better if Mr Jireh still thought you were dead?” indira asked as they had just finished watching the live broadcast of the Milky Way trial.

“Master Jireh already knows. I went to Arya to intimidate her and find out their big plan.”

“Have known? Then, why doesn't he look like he's trying to find you?”

“Because of this letter.” Abi reached into his pants pocket and showed me a piece of paper. Rinjani snatched the paper from his hand.

“Death certificate?”

“The day after they planned to kill me, which made me escape from prison, my mother and Rama came to the prison to visit. They even handed me a death certificate and said that I had been buried because of an infectious disease. Unfortunately, a few days later, they realized that the dead man was not me, but the killer they sent.”

Rinjani was stunned to hear Abi's short story. With that little explanation, he already understood many things. “So, if they report to Indira and to the public that you are running away, they are worried that aunt Jenny or Rama showed me the letter. Then, they searched for the letter and because they did not find it, they burned New Batavia?”

“Yes, and that only adds to their confusion because they are not sure whether this letter has really disappeared or not. That's what made their move to find me impressed hesitant,” said Abi. “Luckily only, Rama first handed this letter to me.”

Rinjani shook her head in amazement at what had happened. “It seems, your past misfortunes started to pay off one by one in the present.”
